On my all around sf I got drafted by the heat and got stuck behind lebron for two years. In my second year I even won 6th man and MVP. After we won back to back finals(both against Houston) no team I wanted to go to tried to sign me so I stayed with Miami and requested a trade. I had to lower my overall but finally I got trade to the Dallas Mavericks. The heat made off pretty well too as they got both Dirk and Steve Nash(Steve Nash got traded to the clippers in my rookie year, then somehow returned to Dallas) since the trade i led the mavs to first in the west and the heat have gone like 9-1 with the Big Three + Nash and Dirk

So I decided to sign with the Magic. I play 10 minute quarters on all-star/default. The first game was against the Nets and we WRECKED. Final score was 109-72! My pg had 18 points(6-6 3 pointers), 7 rebounds, 15 assists(10 of which were to Dwight) 4 steals, and 0 turnovers. Dwight had 33 points, and 22 boards

haha nice, when i requested a trade as a PG, i wanted the magic. i would have loved to play with dwight. i got traded to the clippers instead which works out b/c they have griffen. still though, love dwight

That isn't bad. Doesn't compare to Dwight though!
We won the second game agaianst NY, and crushed them and then I just played THE crappiest game ever. We were up 19 at half against Charlotte. I got taken out at the start of the third, came back with 6 minutes to go and it we were LOSING. We went on and lost by 10, it was such bull.

What position/play style do you play?

Not sure what you mean right here.

I play as Center every then i'll play with the weakest player on the floor other while McGee is on the bench 90% of time if McGee is on bench i just turn on coach mode.

With McGee I tend to be a shot blocker and rebounder.

There will be times where I do majority of the scoring when the other starters are not scoring are keep taking bad shots

I found a way to make my A.I. play better by adjusting the sliders on my coach profile also by editing their tendencies. I adjust some of the tendencies according to how they play with me.

After flip Sanders got fired this garbage coach got hired with his 3pt shot tendency at 97 so I decrease the slider and move the mid range up since the average attribute for my players was around 83-85 for mid range.

I'm playing player lock in association mode. with the wizards

Myplayer I created is Athletic SF for the Magic I was on the Bobcats. Year 5 mid-season

i requested a trade to the Magic to play with Howard but they traded Howard for Me.

Love myplayer mode but it gets so annoying after awhile with the non sense the cpu players be getting away with. I'm waiting for 2k12 to get back on this mode again hopefully we can use real players like superstar mode in Madden.

i know exactly how you feel, i'm getting so frustrated w/ myplayer mode right now


my 1st myplayer was a PG and i loved it!

one game i got dominated by yao so i thought it'd be fun to create a center.
made him 7'5 for kicks and giggles. got drafted by the thunder in the 1st round. i thought this was perfect, they need a big man, i'm a perfect fit for this team.

we were doing great, the thunder were playing well, i thought this could work out. now 30+ games in and the true colors of the way playing a myplayer center are starting to show.

over the last 10 games, were 2-8
the computer has been playing like complete steaming pile of crap.
here is the stat line for the last game vs the wizards in which we were down 30 at one point

the computer went 17/68 for the night. thats up only b/c they brought in webster at the end to shoot 3/4 or else the computer would have shot 14/64 for the game.

this is roughly what i've been avg over the last 10 games while we've been losing. the bad shooting by the cpu is not my problem with the mode, its how stupid the computer is. the computer is running down and jacking up contested shots before my guy can run down the court. at one point in the 2nd quarter, were already down 15, i have 15 of the teams 20 points thus far. i'm red hot, full meter posting up their PG in the paint and the cpu still wont pass me the ball.

i had 8 TO in the game, 5 were me sitting in the key b/c i'm so frustrated that the computer wont pass me the ball when a 6 ft pg is guarding the 7'5 center. I get that you dont always take advantage of matchups but when the team is shooting piss poor, i'm red hot AND i have a matchup advantage and still cant get the ball, thats just bad.

i had 27 boards, 14 defense, 13 offense. i got 21 shots in the game. that means 13 of my touches on offense came from my own rebounds off the cpus shooting. that means the computer managed to pass it to me 8 times within scoring position the whole game.

maybe its different for other teams but this is what its like playing center for the thunder right now

maybe the team is just going through a rough patch but this is pathetic. maybe my expectations are too high.

its that team. i played point guard for the thunder before and they are not good. as for being a c/pf its awesome. i was lucky and got draftd by the grizzles though.

i would do player lock...but im incredibly lazy...i dont feel like playing as a bench reserve after my primary player gets subbed out nor do i feel like watching the game play out from coach mode or whatever it's called...

if there was a sim to next ball possession like that in myplayer mode i would totally do it....my method of intentional fouling wouldnt work since i would still be assigned a bench reserve

I like being on the Suns as a 3pt specialist. Teammates actually makes shots time-to-time. Besides having 4 guards on the court 1/3 of the time.
Grant Hill and Vince Carter are good compliments. Nash and Brooks can shoot 3s

I had the same problems when playing with OKC in my first MP attempt. Seems like Durant and Westbrook never made shots.

Now I'm playing with Chicago and Deng and Rose light it up pretty consistently along with myself...I've got 94 3's in 15 games. Only shooting about 40% though. Trying to nail the timing still. Our team is 11-4. Just came off a huge win in Dallas after getting slammed 121-90 by Phoenix then beat Sacramento. I've skyrocketed in Points...43 against the Lakers (won), 45 against Phoenix in the loss, 34 aginast Dallas and 38 against Sacramento.

In my SG career, my team (the Suns) decided to fire Alvin Gentry after making it to the Western Conf. Finals. Poor logic there.
But anyways, the coach that replaced him has literally the worst lineup management in history. My Roster looks something like this
PG: Nate Robinson/Goran Dragic/Jordan Farmar
SG: Me/JJ Reddick for maybe 5 minutes)
SF: Josh Childress/Jared Dudley
PF: Zach Wilkes(74 ovr 2nd year)/Lucas Reeves(61 ovr 2nd year)/Hakim Warrick
C: Lucas Hunter (70 ovr Rook)/Channing Frye
IR: Marreese Speights

For some reason, for 6 minutes to start the 4th the coach runs this lineup
Farmar
Dragic
Reddick for 5 min
Dudley
Reeves
Being that I'm only 6'4, my team gets chewed up inside and any lead we have vanishes. Anybody see any worse CPU lineup?
