Decided to give another try this mode but again I'm frustrated.Reading the stories here and guessing most of you having fun but I can't find the settings to please me at least from a stats view.
Tried Sim option -> Scores too low from both sides, low FG%, extreme numbers of rebounds, teammates brick after brick.
Tried Default option -> Somehow higher scores and FG%,lack of FT's, many dunks.
12 min here only.Any suggestions? Thanks.

play all star or superstar or pro.but not hof...i play onhof andthe cpu team makes 60% of their shots every game

Honestly, its just a problem with the mode. There isnt much you can do since you cant edit sliders. You just have to deal with it.

Why would they put sliders in my player. All you need is to find a difficulty you like and play on it. If they put sliders in everybody would just raise up te user ratings

Well Just Got Drafted by the New Orleans Hornets with pick 11. How are they in My Player Mode?

my old SG plays there. its not bad actually David West is a beast and makes everything he shoots and professor Oak is pretty good on boards and put backs. CP3 doesnt shoot much but is a beasty passing the ball, usually gets around 10 points 12 assists on mine. but Trevor Ariza is the worst part for me. he chucks ******** shots and hardly makes any of them, so annoying. but all arround it isnt too bad playing there.

Thanks for the replies fella's. Sorry for another dunk related question but what dunk package do you guys use who have made center's? I have Dwights unlocked but it's nothing special so right now I'm just using the 'athletic bigman' package which is ok but not that great.

i like amares package. i also use big shaq daddys package. i'll usually change my 1st dunk to the power tomahawk.

i think i'm currently using pippens package

HOLY CHRIST! That's like JJ Barea maneuvering through the tall guys, but then he busted out that dunk. I think I'll post a video of my free throw line dunk later.

i think my gameplay actually looks better. for some reason when i record or take SS, the quality looks alot worse to me

I love Ray Allens Jumper. Fast and Smooth.

I use Ray Allen's jumper for my SG too, love his shot. I'm in my second year with the Pistons, just around 70 overall right now.

I really wish they would make some type of way to transfer your My Player, that would be great. Having to do 82 games a season and restart from scratch is going to suck. It'd be cool to be able to bump down the amount of games you play per season too, like in association mode.

That'd be great but they probably won't do it because you can hack it (for 360 and PC) on 2K11, then transfer it to 2K12, and they didn't do it from 2K10 to 2K11. A great way to do this would be to scan 2K11's My Player leaderboards when you start 2K12, and give you all the skill points you earned while playing, that would make hackers pissed (2K can tell if you're legit or not if you're on the leaderboards) and the regular players (like me, up to 93 overall now) happy.

It's kinda strange how Scottie Pippen's dunk package is available to center's but other swingmen like LeBron's or Wes Johnson's aren't.

2 rebounds away from a quadruple-double. I'm so pissed, I had 58 points, 12 assists, 11 steals, and 8 rebounds. FML, it would've been my first one in all of NBA 2K11 too.

We(Nets) are 40-9 and is on a 9 game win streak. I am 1st in PPG, APG, FG%, and Steals, MVP and All Star votes. I avg 30-10-7 and 3.8 Steals. The All Star is coming up in a few games. I hope we can make a few trades before deadline. We have the cap room and we made a lot of trades so far. I only have a few milestones I can accomplish this season, most takes more season. All Star, MVP, All Pro, Championship, 650 Assist, 5 3pters(I dont shoot alot of Jumpers). I just topped my highest points. I had 60 points against Bulls(D.Rose was out). Most of my points came from Bad Defense from the Bulls. I was able to Blow by the defenders for easy dunks a ton of times because they would play tight up the court. I only attempted 10 jumpers in that game.
I just maxed out Emotion. I am at the point where I dont really have any ratings I need to improve, But I will begin to max ratings I left unmaxed. Some of the things I havent touch yet is Strength, Free Throw(which will be next), and Rebounds.
I want to start attempting more pump fakes. But I dont shoot alot of jumpers. in my 3pt SG. I was able to get great success from pump faking. I want to at least attempt them

yeah, i was really hoping for a lebron or if they made a blake griffin package. maybe next year. same for mcgee. just because there are so many good guard packages, i'd hope they spice up the bigman packages

I just copied my My Players onto the free agent list by creating a player. They are identical to my players in my player mode. I also created a team and put them and some real free agents on that team. I am wondering if it is possible to use this team in association mode. It would be cool to use my players only in an association. Also, copying my players lets me use them in NBA Blacktop, where my SF scored a perfect 30/30 in the 3pt shootout, and playing 4 on 4 with my players against NBA all stars in blacktop is cool too.

That's true, I forgot about people being able to hack skills points. I play on the PS3 but none the less, it'd be nice. At least I'd love to see a way to lower games per season in My Player mode. I actually hate having to play 82 games, it takes too long. I don't really care for simulation either, since I can play much better than what my simulation gives me, sometimes lol.
