Gosh, playing center can be so frustrating... Especially when your guy runs into the section where the cameramen are and gets stuck for 5 seconds. Why is that glitch even in the game???

It just depends how you want to play the game. If you're going to take a lot of jump shots then invest a lot of them in your mid/3 pointer. If you're going to be going for layups/dunks invest in that and possibly your vertical/quickness. Oh and if you're going to be taking a lot of jump shots I would also beef up your consistency, shot in traffic and shot off dribble.

i recommend slashing or athletic. i did slashing becuase the speed and quickness is almost as much as athletic but his shots are a little better. or i guess if you dont like driving much and would rather be a sharpshooter you can do scoring or 3pt specialist. but personally i love being fast so i have to go with slashing or athletic. and for your first 10000 put it into ball handle, security, layup and mid range.

Dwight just returned from his injury on my SF my player. me and hi were ballin against the Spurs. he put up 22 points but i only had 14 since they would not run plays for me. arenas just kept running plays to Jason Richardson for 3's and Richardson finished the game 1-12 from 3 and was 0-5 in the 4th alone. we lost 77-80 and i pretty much blame our 3 point shooting. as a team we were 2-23, my 3 point rating is only 40 so i dont shoot any, its the rest of my team, mainly Arenas and Richardson that just jack up stupid 3's and dont hit.

as i play more with the team will they start running plays for me? because me and dwight are the only ones that actually shoot good percentage, in the loss to spurs i was 5-8 from the field, but yet in the 4th they just ran plays to richardson the whole time who had a terrible percentage

What I did when my players chucked up too many 3s was just to call for the ball. If you have good teammate chemestry they should give it to you, when I do it, I usually don't even loose points, but a lower teammate grade and a win beats a loss in my book.

Wtf is up with the press conference after playing the lakers. We beat them, yet they ask about how "Kobe lit you guys up." WTF?? The dude shot like 35%.

Yeah I know!!! I'll blow out the Lakers by a score of 150 to 124, score 80 pts, 17reb, 14ast, and Kobe will score 40pts. Instead of asking about a dominant performance or a blowout win, they ask how Kobe scored so much. Even more frustrating is when they ask about my turnovers, I'll have 6 turnovers, but 60pts, 15reb, 11ast, 5stl, 2blk, in a win, why not ask about a career performance that is commenplace for my player.
Also, "Why do you hold on to the ball so much?" WTF?!?!?!, we won by 30!! I shot 70%, I had 13 assists!! So now I shouldn't take open shots and drive to the lane?!?!?! These press questions are such bull ****!!! In real life a press reporter would never ask Wade why he held on to the ball so much after he scored 40pts in a blowout win.

Yeah the press conferences are a good idea but need some work.

A few other little things I want changed:

                              1. Add a 2nd preferred position option. I made a 6'3 SG (Kemba Walker) with solid ballhandling and passing so I'd be able to play PG as well. What does the cpu do? Sub me in at small forward against Tyler Hansborough in one game then small forward vs Lamar Odom in another even though my team has heaps of small forwards but could really use a backup pg.

                              2. Allow me to change my suit. A brown suit, pink shirt and red tie is a horrible choice.

                              3. don't have my player walking in with a suit and headband on, it just looks ridiculous.

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)

2k11 came up with lots of good ideas, and hopefully 2k12 fully develops these ideas to make an amazing game.

I am looking for 2k12 to fully embrace My Player.

I remember playing 2k7 and using a street baller I made, and leveling him up, getting pros to play with me, and going around town playing in different venues and different rules.
Imagine if 2k12 started you off with this and then took you to the Draft Combine or a specific team of your choice's try outs. That would be sick, and it would be more realistic.

Also, let you choose what you wear to press conferences and before games, make it almost an RPG in terms of customization.

Little things, playing Madden 2k7 or something (one with Shawn Alexander on the cover) my Superstar's house developed in the offseason as my player got more famous and better, that would be cool.

Also, maybe embrace a Street balling feature in my player. Let him go to a court and just shoot, but open up horse games, dunk contests, pick up games, and that stuff to help improve player and raise reputation to help get you to NBA, but once you are on a NBA team, let you go back, remember your roots, more variety.

Press conferences are great idea, but go to a deeper more involved level with it:
Think Dragon Age 2 if you've played it: where a question or statement is made, you have to choose one of a few tpes of responses, but a sample or summary of what you'll say with that choice is given, so you aren't left guessing, and what do you know, you're having a conversation.

Let you see how you affect the town, play on your NBA team's city's court and hear people talking 'bout you, and posters of you (like Jordan posters in 2k11, but bigger, think LeBron's old WITNESS poster in Cleveland).

Also, let you take another feature from 2k7. have converations with management, voice your oppinion, have them bring up issues and questions. Same with players, develop a team chemestry based on that, it'll be deep, and realistic.

Also, embrace the mode, have online courts. By this I mean to have online courts where players can shoot around together, have games of horse, have 3pt shootouts, dunk contests, games, like in real life, almost to an MMO option, but make it optional, not manditory. No one wants to go to a court alone in real life, why would they in a game.

Also, do a mode like Madden 11, with a combine, but make it a Gym, where you can do stuff like bench and run and jump to help improve your player, like drills in 2k11.

Imagine combining NBA street, NBA 2k11, and MMO/RPG elements into one mode in 2k12, I think it would be perfect, what do you think?

You like these ideas? Any of your own, heck, maybe ill suggest them to 2K!
