i want the updated rosters too...but whether or not i'll remain committed to a new my player career is something else entirely

basically this...it's based on your team chemistry...however, any of the menu that shows this(NBA.com or schedule menu) measurement of team chemistry has no bearing on whether or not you get floor general...my chemistry has been at 5% or lower according to the menu but i've been a floor general for a good ~72 games while with the kings....i didnt lose my floor general in the off-season either

I'm about to raise the difficulty to wutever is above Pro, because now Pre-patch I'm a rookie shooting 49% from the field? Hmmmm.....but Post-patch, I had ZERO touch on the shot stick and I'm not "practicing" 2 weeks to figure out one type of jumper. I like Melo's and it works great now.

Question, how do I upload photos of My Player?
make a 2ksports.com profile and link your psn or gamertag....once that's done...just pause your game and go to replay to take and upload your player's in-game picture to the 2k servers....from there you can save the picture and do as you please with it

they came and asked me who to go after like 20 games back and i picked all big men. somehow we got nash and i'm coming off the bench and lost my floor general status now
same thing but it ALWAYS happen to me....i get players who play different from the position i had asked for....welcome to my world

does anyone know if being a SF and the play style POINt forward grants the ability to see the playbook on the floor and call plays as the PG when your coach gives you permission to? thanks

you should try lebron's jumper, it elevates high enough for anyone to know when the release moment is and you can pretty much shoot it over anyone since he gets so high and has a high release

How do you even get the shoes, what determines when you get it? I'm in the playoffs of my second season and I've gotten Sports Illustrated cover but have yet to get the shoes.

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)

changed all my shots to kobe's jumper(might have to get used to it since his jumpshot was one of the ones i had difficulties with....but the animation looks so good) with the exception of the contested jumpshot, both of which is kevin durant's(kobe's contested jumper is too quick and i dont like how he drops his hands to his sides so quick after releasing the ball)

            momentum shots inside
-runner: c. paul(looks pretty much like a layup by the way he takes off)
-leaner: d. rose(same thing, looks like a layup)
-running floater: swingman tuck(like the bounce he does)
-running fade: swingman default(just the animation and shot release)
-running spin shot: w. evans(quicker than turner)
-running hook: swingman stop(purely animation and quick release)

            post shots
            -post roll: both are agile
-post hook: both are rookie guard 3

            dribble moves
-iso crossover: crossover 5(i like the low double crossover animation)
-iso behind the back: behind back 5(animation for each hand)
-iso spin: spin 5(like the switch of hands as he spins)
-iso stepback: stepback 1(the ball stays low and close)
-iso hesitation: hesitation 4(the quick feet hesitation in static motion)
-iso gather: hop spin(gets into the paint and the resulting layup gets contact)
-iso sizeup forward: sizeup F4(my player is low and he doesnt bounce around)
-iso sizeup left: sizeup L5(i can easily launch to one direction with this iso)
-iso sizeup right: sizeup R1(simple and short, i can take off once he hesitates)
-iso sizeup back: sizeup B8(only one i liked in terms of animation)

            dunks and layup
-layup package: j. crawford(im going to try the shake and bake for a bit)
-dunk package: d. wade(love the variety of dunks he has, so many animation)

it's highly arbitrary and based on performance...that's why there's no exact establishment/consensus of when everyone got their shoes...sort of lame how the game works that way

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)

hmm...where to start? My player Steven Chesshir is a 6'8 240 lbs SF who got drafted in the second round pick 8 to the New York Knicks. I play on All-pro, because anything higher and your team mates seem retarted, dont play defense, and you have to score every single basket yourself. Besides on all pro no matter how many points i score, games are still challeging enough for me, but I can get my team mates involved as well.

Rookie Season NY/Hou(2010-11): I didnt last long with the knicks. I got traded halfway through my rookie season to the Houston Rockets. We went pretty far in the playoffs made it to the third round losing to the lakers who would go on to lose to the Magic in the finals? (Payback much?) Statistically I didn't have an outstanding rookie season, (13.9 ppg, 2.0 asts, and 3.8 rpg) But i did get second team all rookie. Despite success with the rockets I couldnt handle Yao Ming being such a whimpy leader. I signed with the OKC Thunder.

OKC (2011-2012) I signed with OKC because they were a young team, with a lot of talent. I was KD's backup for most of the year. We had a good regular season although our big men were less than stellar. Our playoff run went all the way to the NBA finals, where we were matched up against the star-studded Miami Heat. I was going to get to play against my favorite player,Lebron. We lost 4-1 simply because we couldn't matchup at all. My overall rating was like 68, and I was a decent jump shooter at best. I became a free agent in the off-season. I got an offer to join the Miami Heat, the team that had beaten us in the finals. It was a tough descision, but I decided that miami would be dominant for many years and i would get a chance to play with my favorite player, even if it would hurt my overall legacy.

Miami(2012-present) Signing with the Heat proved to be a great career choice. Along side six straight championships, (Seven if you include the one they won against me in OKC) Miami has won 8 straight MVP awards. (Lebron-7, me-1) In my seven year tenure with the Heat, I've managed to win MVP once,(Only because Lebron was oddly coming off the bench one season) have been to 5 all-star games, (2014-2018) and have been finals MVP twice (2016,2017) After alot of playing time. I finally got my player rating to 99 sometime in the 2014-15 season. Ever since then I've broken many NBA single game records including points, (117 regular, 123 playoffs) Field Goals made (48 reg, 51 playoffs) three pointers made (15 reg, 13 playoffs) Our starting five has usually stayed the same throughout my years with Miami. For a couple years it was Mario Chalmers-PG, Dwayne -SG, me- SF, Lebron-PF Chris Bosh- C.
But i got mad at Mario for continuing to throw up late game unneccesary shots in close games which would cause me to lose. I eventually got him kicked off the team and replaced with an all-star PG named Boyd Palmer. With Boyd are starting line up is all over 85, which is why we consistently finish #1 in the NBA standings and get home court advantage. Which is a real helper come playoff time. Because we rarely ever lose at home.

Future: As of right now, im the best player in the league. I've got plenty of rings, and I'm just enjoying the rest of my days playing along side Lebron, Dwayne, and Chris. They're on the decline in their careers, but our team is still ranked 95 overall. The real challenge will come when these guys retire, which will leave Boyd and me in the backcourt. Since lebron and chris have played the PF and C positions respectively, we will have huge holes in the front court. But I'll worry about that when we get to that point. lol

Thank you for reading if you took your time to read this. I was reading the other posts and I decided I might as well tell my players story. People will probably say I took the easy road, joining the Heat, but I don't regret it, it's really fun, and we still have to play really hard against great teams like the Wizards, 76ers, and Bobcats, (teams that are always ranked over 90)
There arent many good western conference teams, so when we get to the finals we usually dominate the team representing the western conference. But again thanks alot if you read this! Peace out!

Dang, I lost Dywane Wade for 1~2 weeks because of a low back strain. Just had my first game without him and had Miller as a starter. I had 7 turnovers in a close loss (103-105) against the Charlotte Bobcats. Tyrus Thomas was 13/16 31 points, 13 rbs.. is he usually this good or did the cpu turn up the hacks?

how many seasons did you play? 7? or was it just 7 years with the heat alone?

                  either way that's insane!

what are your career markers in points, steals, assists and whatever milestones they ask of SF?

it's like jason thompson getting canned blocks...he's really not that good but he's doing it against my taller players too...not just my player....he did it against cousins, love and duncan

also a cpu generated C that plays for the t-wolves dropped like 51pts or something on my team last season...turn around post shots and easy dunks because my PF and C were out of position on defense

I'm playing into my 10th season. One season split between NY and Houston, one year with OKC and i'm in my 8th season with Miami. We're currently 17-2, on top of the power rankings.

I'm currently at 11,278 points, 751 steals, 645 blocks, 856 3 pointers made. I average 17.1 points for my career, but that's what happens when you have four other all-stars on your team. But this year im averaging 22.8 ppg, 11.3 rbg, and 5.0 apg coming into a big game against a pretty good Cavaliers squad with an all star center and point guard.

you can try reloading the point in which you first asked for a trade...keep doing that until dwight stays on the team(hopefully, it's not set in stone due to system's hardcoding or whatever)

i was a 1st round pick drafted to the chicago bulls
kool i'm from louisiana so i thought about going with the hornets but nobody is on their team now.

paul is with the warriors. west left can't remember what team he play for now.

I want to keep reseting to keep howard but it sucks when you have to go into games just to simulating takes to much time makes you not want to play anymore.

Blue is my color so i'm going with the magics only reason.

has anybody landed a 3 star or higher recruit.
i tried going after bosh 1 time because he was 2 and half stars on the heat team.
Figured he would better playing with a real stud compared to lebron and wade lol.

I wish there was someway you could get high star players.

hopefully next year version you can if your team have valuables to give away.

Maybe i should try going for howard due to the fact they traded him.

Should i go back to year 4 an go the magic so where i can keep howard on the team.
I can't thought i had a save file of year 4 around playoff time that i could easily reload. Since i was only 12 games in year 5

FYI for those guys a while back talking about spending more time on bench.
Since the big trade me to magic and d-12 to bobcats.

i been spending more time on bench not due to foul trouble.

I think chemistry plays a part since their chemistry was high.

Now that i finally got a decent backcourt players need them to step up and score. In desperate need of some front court players.

yeah, that was me and streets...team chemistry has no bearing on it...im a legitimate starter whether or not my team chemistry is at 0%, at 100% or anywhere in between...also what we were talking about was sitting on the bench with your current team...i didnt want to be traded to a different team

I requested a trade to Pacers & Nets. After 3 games(simmed), I got traded to the Nets. I like their playblook, hopefully their coach didnt get fired. But when I checked the Pacers playbook and players they were 3 pt orienated. So Im not mad about that.
The Nets have 5 total PGs(with me). Pacers have 3 total PGs. Lopez and Favors both set a ton of screens. Nets arent a 3pt team.
