just hope that westbrook becomes a star player soon(i think some told me his status is just a starter in this game because i know he's a star player now in my 4th season) and then you wont have to worry about displacing him...just harden

with the exception of the pick and roll, pick and pop, and lead passing....im telling everyone...the success rate of your teammates sinking shots are dramatically better if you pass them the ball while they're in stride

im averaging close to 16 apg(i can easily get 20+ assists since i usually get like 10 in the first quarter alone) WHILE dominating in almost every statistical category(block excluded)...average: 30.8ppg, 13.4rpg, 15.8 apg, 4.7spg, 2.3topg....i think it's important to note that im pulling down those rebounds at a height of 6'3''

the game's mechanic in this mode is pretty messed up in terms of shooting percentages...why comply with the developers' errors and bring yourself to frustration? just work around the problem and find a different way to put up points besides being over reliant on shooting(do so by making your teammates take the ball inside)...get them on a hotstreak before you give them passes for an open shot....not saying everyone should play the game this way but this method works for me and my teammates do knock down their shots and if they dont, i dont get pissed off about it...i just switch it up and make them attack the basket (also my team is averaging around 20-30 freethrows per game which is a bit more realistic because i know a lot of people are having trouble drawing fouls in this game)

i know my player's individual stats arent realistic but it's more than just averaging a triple double and being content...i agree it is a bit of an ego thing but what i do is more than that....i try to stretch my ability and skill set with the allotted time given to me on the floor...it's a good practice to see what i can do in this game so whenever i do play against my friends i can beat them easily

not sure how but im also leading the race for most improved player for the second time(won the first one in season 2) in my career and my season average is just a bit slightly higher than last season in certain stats...im sure other players around the league are more deserving of this award since they will most likely have a higher jump in statistical output comparative to past seasons...but all in all...this just shows me that i can still push my player beyond what are already stellar numbers

my first three seasons of this career were done under 9 minute quarters and i still held unrealistic stats but that came at a cost to my teammates who averaged a bit lower stats in the categories of rebounding and assists(sometimes points)....by bumping it up to 12 minutes this season i was able to let them get more realistic stats that were closer to their career average WHILE still enjoying what i do with my own player

it's not like i average 50+ points(as what i wrote above, i score only around 30ppg, which is enough to secure the league leader status) a game and completely neglect other aspects of basketball...i secure wins by doing literally everything on the floor and live up to my playing style of an all-around player...

even if i dont put up these kind of numbers and play more attuned with those that are sim players...my interest in things always waivers and comes in sporadic streaks...either way i get bored and play other games(black ops)...so my current play style doesnt at all affect my loyalty to the game...that's just all me and my personality

i know the difficulty of this mode is different depending on the position you are as a player...i wont try to hide that...i know users who arent PG's are required(to some extent) to be dependent on a cpu PG to run their offense and any stupid thing they do on your team is usually out of your control...but as i see it, if you keep yourself situated and rooted in playing the game as how it was fatally designed due to an imperfect patch(the feature of playcalling is great but face it, this needs improvement) it just makes it even more aggravating...for these reasons i believe it's completely fine to just cancel out of plays and revert back to a freestyle type of play(which unfortunately doesnt always work since the cpu PG would still just try to ISO free and make a shot or drive to the basket)

TL;DR

CP3 is the only player on my team that will have confidence in making jumpers. I got a few assists from him last game. He only missed one shot I passed to him. David West is also good in the low post, but does not make contact layups I passed him 4 passes that coulda been And-Ones and he missed them all

tyreke will shoot anything i give him so long as he has space....caron butler likes doing runners over his defender....duncan is old so his inside game isnt as good as it once was...kevin love needs some improvement in his post up game...he misses a lot of them on this team and rarely dunks on pick and rolls which results in either a foul or a missed layup

Playing for the warriors is a lil ruff. Just got eliminated from the play-offs by the the Thunder for lack of a center. Also, Ellis and Curry guarding their best player equaled Durant scoring at least 50p per game. I managed to push it to game 7 and it came down to 2 seconds left on clock and down by one. Than the computer in bounds the ball to David Lee so he can miss the game winning shot...

So, in the offseason, I give the team 3 different Centers nad 2 defenders for the perimiter to go after in the offseason. The team signs no one and drafts a soft Biedrins type center. I pass him the ball for a easy dunk and he passes the ball immediately. I'm thinking, maybe if I improve off and def awareness to significantly boost my rating to be the highest on the team, the computer might make trades to build around my player. Worth a shot I guess.

Nearly had a triple-double with my jump shooting center (15 points, 12 rebounds, 8 assists). Then proceeded to score a career-high 25. Averaging 11 PPG now.

My speed is at 98(3+ shoes). Next goals are Quickness, Shooting, Awareness. Minor but major needs are Pass, Hustle, Hands, Ball Security, Vertical, and Stamina.
Just got a +2 speed in the dribble course drill. So after I max it out, I will subtract the three points to 96 for skill points. So I am basically taking off the shoes but still getting the points. I got every Jordan shoe. I will either use the 4+ Quickness or 4+ 3pt.

if at the start of the 4th quarter i have my self an a+ and are hitting all my targets, if i sim to end of the game am i still guarenteed to end the game a+ and hit all my targets or does end on how the cpu use's my myplayer?

The Grizzlies are terrible, if it weren't for me averaging 40 PPG and 13 RPG (but only 5 APG) as a SG, we would be 0-82. Rudy Gay chucks up contested shots like no tomorrow and OJ Mayo misses wide open threes. I tried to keep dishing assists but the only consistent one is Gasol.

What position? Just rely on Gasol and never pass to Rudy Gay, he'll pass up an open shot and dribble in top a double team and chuck up a fadeaway mid-range jumper.

The context, or relevance(or lack thereof) of the post game questions is so annoying. We just beat Utah to take a 3-1 series lead in the Western Conference Finals, and the media asks me why my matchup was able to get more rebounds than I did.

Hope to get my custom Jordans soon. I got my SI cover after game 1 of this current series.

Have any of you guys won a championship during your first season? I am so excited can't get to get home and start playing! Andre Williams has been incredible during the Playoffs averaging 32.4 points, 11 rebounds and 6.5 assists. When I created Andre Williams I wanted to create a Vince Carter-like player with explosive leaping ability, high dunk rating and a reliable midrange and three point shot.

As of right now Andre is rated 74 overall with 99 vertical, 85 dunk, 88 mid range shot, 80 three point shot. I finished the regular season averaging 21.4 ppg, 7.5 rpg and 5.7 apg while playing only 55 games (simulation / injuries).
