Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
I play a 6ft pg. 5 min quarters. avg 55.7ppg 4.2rpg 3.7apg 1.5spg 16.5mpg 49% fg, 46% 3pt, 90% ft my first season. 2nd season avg 61.3ppg 4.1rpg 3.0apg 2.1spg 17.1mpg 51% fg, 47% 3pt, 93% ft. Game high is 83 no ot. I just started a new PG since I am stuck on the Pistons and they wont trade me (I demanded a trade by mistake and ended up there). I'm still 6ft. I avgd 57ppg 8.0rpg 4.6 apg 1.7spg 1.0bpg in the combine, high was 67 (cant remember the exact ppg but it was 57 something). I don't cheat, and I don't do the drills. I only went 10th in the draft, my stock didn't go up or down after the third game, A+ in every game. I've played like 12 games in the nba, avg are only 36.4ppg 3.1rpg 2.9apg 51% fg 49% 3pt I just recently got the start so those numbers will go up now that I am getting minutes. I didn't dish out a single assist until I got my first start. I don't dribble out the clock and I usually shoot before the shot clock reaches 18, I also don't cherry pick my fast break points are 3s in transition.Comment

although, it does feel a bit awkward pulling up for a 3 in transition with paul pierce's jumperComment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
I don't know what I should do. I've been playing on the lowest difficulty, and my team is on like a 40 game winning streak. Even when I try to purposely lose games I still can't do it. It's too unrealistic. No way the Wizards should be undefeated, or even any team. But I don't want my guy to start sucking. I like having good stats and earning a lot of skill points. Is there any way to make the other team better without making my guy worse?Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
i usually rotate between Waves, Michael Jordan's, J.J. Redick's and now Paul
Pierce's
but i know what you mean about the 3's in transitions...i went after Wilt's scoring record and drained 33 3's in that game...i also make around 340 3's per season after my rookie yearLast edited by -ENiGMA724-; 03-22-2011, 11:03 PM.Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
lol, yea I usually just shoot 3s. Most of the games I'm in I get limited minutes in the second half because the games are never even close. I've used Kobe's shot in every 2k game since 2k9 so I'm just use to it I guess. I do like Jordan's shot but I can hit Kobe's without even looking at the screen. I thought I was going to get Wilt's record in the game I had 83, I had 56 in the first half but then didn't play much after that. I had another game where I had 61 in the first half and I got injured when I went up for a board at the start of the second. How many points did you finish with that game?Comment

before that game, my career high was the same as kobe's career high...which i did on purpose
i need to just start shooting 3's until i get an average of 30ppg these last 27 games....it will make my player turn the ball over less from inside drives that get stopped by canned block animations...2.6 topg isnt necessarily bad(especially on 12 minute quarters) but it's my career high thus far and it's a bit annoying to see that...i need to get it down to around 2.3topgLast edited by -ENiGMA724-; 03-22-2011, 11:15 PM.Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
105? i think....i sort of wanted to just get 101 but my opponents kept fouling me near the end of the game since it was a close one....i didnt feel like missing my freethrows because seeing as how i rarely go to the line back then i couldnt afford to miss them...

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
After getting my 6'6" SG drafted to the Grizzles and playing until the all star break before getting traded to the Jazz I was robbed of the MVP trophy but settled for Rookie of the Year. Ended up sweeping the Heath in the Finals after winning Finals MVP. After Jerry Sloan retiring it was time to head for greener pastures and my Bulls were in need of my skills at SG. What has transpired has been an **** run into becoming legendary. First year with Bulls we won 73 games. Fast forward to now after just finishing an 80-2 season after the FA signing of Blake Griffin.
8 seasons
8 championships
7 MVPs
5 time scoring champion
8 all star appearances
46 game win streak
71 pts against Miami Heat in Game 7 conference finals
Fastest player to 20,000 pts
Highest career 3pt % and currently sitting 4th all time list
Currently 28 years old with an already massive achievements and playing with the Bulls is so much fun and the players all have high IQ and don't make that many stupid plays. Currently playing with Rose and Blake Griffin is just so much fun. Had a good run with Boozer, replaced by Tyrus Thomas, and now Griffin who is just a monster. Noah is Noah and makes all the intangible plays. They are going to have to replace the statue up front at the pace I'm going.
questions...
-what's your team chemistry at? mine has been at 0% during my second stint with the kings
-how many minutes per quarter do you play?
-do you simulate some games? just asking because you're one of the few people who have gotten so far in the game(i simulate the playoffs btw but not the regular season)
you're out of luck man...Last edited by -ENiGMA724-; 03-22-2011, 11:32 PM.Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
Ah, nice. Yea I don't do the dribble drive being 6 ft if I'm in the lane I'm more than likely getting blocked so I just stick to jump shots. My first pg was avg 2.2 turn overs and I took roughly 40 shots per game, 24 of them were 3s. On my new pg so far I'm only 17 games in and I'm only taking 19 shots per game 16 of them are 3s though, that number is rising fast though lol. I do get a lot of free throw attempts though, I avg over 11 per game, my most attempts so far was 33. I just pump fake and lean when I get them in the air.
yeah, when i went after that scoring record i didnt really know how to get to the foul line...after season 2, i figured out that the hop spin(iso gather) works pretty good with the pump fake....i can easily get around 11 freethrows as well if i do it enough...but again, i worry about the canned animation and turnovers....
33? holy buckets...i think the highest i had was around 17?
how do you do the lean? im on the ps3...but you can explain it with the 360 button configuration if that's what you have....i have my controllers down lol(if you're a PC user then dammit)
im able to get them off their feet with the pump fake since that's my primary move to open a lane to the hoop...i just cant consistently lean into my opponent(i've done it a few times but i never get the call)Last edited by -ENiGMA724-; 03-22-2011, 11:30 PM.Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
lol im fine with getting blocked(it's just a missed FG)...it's those canned animations where it results in a turnover that i dont like...

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
Yea I'm on the 360, I just pump and when they jump I lean the left stick in their direction and shoot and it leans in 95% of the time, sometimes if they are too far off of you it won't lean in. After you hit it a few times you will get use to it, I pump fake a lot of 3s. I've actually had 7 4 point plays so far, I did miss 1 though lol.drawing fouls in last year's game was so easy with the pump fake on my player mode(only mode i played)...i literally used it to bring my team down from like 20-30 point deficits because it stops the clock
but okay back on point, i'll try that tomorrow...most of the time i do shoot my 3's far away from my opponent even though im holding the left stick in their direction and nothing happens(so distance is probably the issue here)....the amount of open space is so essential for me...especially being that the contested jumpers seem to not ever go in for my player after the patch....Last edited by -ENiGMA724-; 03-22-2011, 11:45 PM.Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
LMFAO, you said you have been playing since 2k9...if that's true then you should remember how in 2k10(unless it was just the ps3's flaw)...you could pump fake all game long and have the cpu opponent get a reach in foul on you....drawing fouls in last year's game was so easy with the pump fake on my player mode(only mode i played)...i literally used it to bring my team down from like 20-30 point deficits because it stops the clock

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
Put up my first double-double in a win over the Nets; 11 pts., 11 assists and also had 5 rebounds and 2 steals. I've cut my turnovers down in the past few games, too, so I think that's helped get me more minutes on the floor.
My stats are nowhere near what some of you guys are putting up, but that's OK with me. I'm really enjoying the mode. I am up to 50 OVR, so I am making progress.Currently Playing:
