I love going 0 for 5 in the first quarter and finishing the game with 34, including an **** 16-point third quarter.

ESPECIALLY when it comes in a game that's close the whole way until you hit an ice-cold dagger three to put your team up 8 with 30 seconds left.

I need help. I want to begin with a sf but don't know what drills I should do or what I should put my 10000 points on.

That's up to you. It's Your My Player.
What kind of SF do you want to be? Do you want to be able to defend well, or do you want to shoot well or do you want to attack the basket.

My Player isn't a competition between other My Player players. It's not about reaching some certain stats or levels to win game. You have a player who you can form the way you want to form him.

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)

After not really touching My Player ever (2k10 was so janky, it turned me off the idea) I made a PG. Picked scoring for the initial shooting and decent speed attributes. I lit up the pre-draft, and was projected to go to the hornets at 11. I wasn't wild about that, since obviously, they have CP3. So I was happy to fall one spot to the Grizzles, who I thought would be a decent team to run the offense for. Problem is, I spent most of my minutes at SG, running in small line ups with Gay at PF. We also sucked. We were 4-15.

I requested I trade as soon as I could (I missed 2 weeks due to injury early on), asking to go to either The Heat, The Lakers, or The Magic. I eventually landed on The Lakers who were 2nd in the west at the time. We've since fallen to 6th, losing a number of close games. All the games are high scoring too (I play 12 minute quarters), with the winner having 110+. Kobe will brick wide open mid range shots off my passes, Gasol will get blocked putting up weak shots down low, and get abused on D because reacts so slowly to shots going up and doesn't contest them. It's kind of annoying because I try to not take every shot, but then we end up giving the game away because no one else can make anything.

I have a question though. At some point, do I get to call plays myself?

yup, there really is no wrong way especially since by your 2nd season you'll normally almost be max stats anyways.

when i made my 1st MP, I was all about attacking the basket so i worked on handles, vert, layup and dunk. main drill I did was the dribbling course initially.

as kytocarl said, there is no wrong way. just pick your playing style and lvl up attributes that you think will make you succeed in that style

I think I'm going to start a new my player on all-star default this time (usually i play on pro-default for my player mode). I want to make a PG that becomes the next Derrick Rose lol. What kind of play style should I choose? And what are some important attributes to upgrade right away?

I just didn't see where you answered what drills he should do and where he should allocate his points. I was interested to see someone help him out because after all, "False" is an answer. Just saying...I'm interested in seeing a good helping answer for that question.

...we held several meetings to discuss the future of the franchise. After going through those meetings, it became very clear that the vision I had for the game was different from where the leadership wanted to take it. I parted ways with EA shortly after...

are you holding turbo then pressing Y?

are you holding turbo and rotating the thumbpad in a half circle?

try letting up on the turbo and it should help

With all the talk about How somebody should put their skill points what drills they should do. Just put them were u want them.

On my pf I just put them where I want. I didnt touch any offense stuff till 15 games in the season bug still averaged 15 points

You don't necessarily have to ask where to put skill points unless there's another person who did a player like you want yours to be. Just put them where you feel like.

On a different subject about having to score alot to win. You don't have to win every game. Put the ball in ur star players hands and let him handle the game.
