So I decided to start 2 characters that I am now playing with simultaneously. My first player is very dirk-like. He is a face-up style PF from Argentina that just got drafted 26th overall to OKC. My 2nd Character is a Derrick Rose-like Athletic PG that was drafted 19th overall to the Celtics.

I'm thinking of asking for trades for both of these characters because I don't know if I want my PF to share the team with Kevin Durant/Russell Westbrook. And for my PG, I already had a player that played a whole season with the celtics and I really don't feel like doing it again haha.

What would be some good teams for a face-up PF and an athletic PG? I would like to be the "star" of the team.

PF - maybe Milwaukee or Phoenix?

PG - maybe Detroit or Toronto? (I've already played a PG at cleveland)

My 6'7 PG is entering his 4th season (third with the Nets). I'm a 99 overall, so I plan on simming the majority of this season's games. I wish my scoring was better when I sim though, but I guess that comes with being a PG.

My career stats are very Lebronish, though he's got me on rebounds and PPG:
24.9 - 5.9 - 7.7

I really try to get realistic stats, and I care more about winning than anything else. However, I have something else in common with 'Bron - I don't have a ring. I haven't even made the finals yet in my first three years. This past year we got put out in the first round by the terrible duo of Carmelo and Danny Granger in Indiana. Melo shredded us; I simmed most of the games, and he dropped 40 TWICE in the series.


It shouldn't take too long to get to the playoffs (I hope, heh) if I sim a lot. I hope I can get that elusive ring!

I'm in the playoffs, and f*** these referees. Brendan Haywood has some magnetic field that draws me into fouling him, while Dirk Nowitzki just keeps slamming into me without any fouls being called.

PF I agree with Phoenix, Nash is almost finished but he can still run a pick n pop with you. PG those teams should be good for you

Wow, wouldn't you know it. My team (Nets) started off 12-12, but after that got SUPER hot and finished with 59 wins. We made it to the Conference Finals where we faced the Pacers, who put us out last year. Beat them in six games, and then played the Warriors for the championship. Won in 7 games, I was the Finals MVP!

I only played one game in the regular season (to get a milestone) and a select few games in the playoffs. As such, my PPG took a major hit but my APG went up. Stats from my fourth (simmed) season:

18.5 - 6.4 - 9.6


My fifth season is going much the same. After 18 simmed games we're 14-4. Hoping to get a good playoff seed and go for the repeat!!

Hey how long of quarters do you guys play on? I want semi-realistic stats but I don't want a season to take a million years to complete. Right now I'm just playing on 5 min quarters/6 minute simmed. Durant is the scoring leader with 17 ppg. I like shorter quarters because I can get through a season fast but it bugs me how players like kobe and lebron will probably never have a 30 point game during the season. (lebron's only averaging 11.7 ppg right now). Is there anyway I can get decent stats while still having manageably short games?

I hope you can actually start in the all star game next. Al jefferson started over me and his overall is 80 and mine is 98. I averaged 30 pts 30 rebs 8 assist 3 steals and 12 blks jerfferson only averaged 15 pts and 9 rebs

Has anyone scored 150 pts in a game before my high is 138 but that wad in my first season with my pg and all my ratings weren't maxed. Most ive gotten now is 81 in the first half but I never finished the game

For the people who already completed one season of my player mode, have you guys been able to get the mvp and rookie award in your first year? Because when I was playing today I was at the top of the rookie award race then I saw that I was also third in the mvp race and it got me thinking that I could win both awards. I'm a pg on the Lakers and I average a double double in points and assists

^^^ Yeah it's possible. Some people have done it that I've seen in this thread. I've gotten very close but a late injury took me off the MVP list.

^^^^Ok. I just dropped down to 4th place after just one game so its gonna be harder to get back up since the three players above me are Josh Smith LeBron James and Joe Johnson.

I play with 10 minute quarters so that I have a chance to win MVP and such. I simulated games against very bad teams, so I wouldn't have to play them. I might decrease it to 8 minutes, because my rebound and point totals are quite a bit high.

Bumped up the difficulty level from pro to all-star and it's much more realistic.

Playing defense is a lot harder, defenders don't go for my pump fake as much, I have to be really careful with my passes.

Got beat by the Warriors and the BEAT LA chants came down in the 4th.

I'm officially in 2nd place in the MVP race and first for rookie of the year awards with 24 or so games left with the Lakers
