Hey the insider told me I can guide the GM in making trades how do I do that?

When the team's ready to make trades, they'll send you to a screen with all the players. You have to pick 5 of the players you think would be good additions to your team. You should be realistic with your picks (i.e. no Lebron, Kobe, Wade etc...).

SOrry if this has been discussed but i don't really want to scroll through 63 pages of thread. But when your franchise asks you what players they should trade for, do they actually do it? has this happened to anyone? I am a 5'9 pg for the spurs and if the traded tony parker for al jefferson, andrew bogut, or andrew bynam (all similar ratings to parker) my team would be unstoppable, plus i'd actually get to start. just curious? also does requesting a trade mean you will be for sure traded or can you request and not ever get traded? last thing is i never saw anything about a contract, is your my player a free agent after the first season? thanks

1. They've asked me to pick players for trades twice, and no trade has been made yet... but I'm just approaching the trade deadline, so the action might start soon.
2. Requesting a trade doesn't guarantee a trade. Another team must be interested in you. And even if they are, they should offer your team something valuable in return for you. If not, your team won't trade you.
3. Ya, I haven't seen any contract information either. I'm a first time 2K player, but I'm getting the hang of the "My Player" mode though. I've heard that at the end of the season your contract is up, and you become a free agent.

So does anyone have any tips or build for a PG? I'm just awful. I get around 2pts and 3assists a game in d-league. Although I'm set at Pro/Sim/5min (i'm going to change it to 12 when I finally get into the NBA). My average teammate grade is C-. I barely ever get any points to put into any useful skills.

I'm a 40ovr with all shot skills in the low 60s. I'd like to be a layup/post player, but I can never get into the post without trying a shot and it getting blocked into the stands, or just missing a good throw and getting penalized anyway for bad shot selection (even though i'm a passer first)

With a point guard the best way to increase your teammate rating is by dishing out assists and making good passes. Get the following skills up: passing, hands, offensive awareness, handling, ball security, off-hand dribbling, speed, quickness. These will allow you to slash inside quickly without losing the ball and kick out to an open shooter for easy assists. Once you get your teammate rating up, you'll get more skill points per game and you can upgrade your shooting and defense.

i play on hall of fame/sim i'm still trying to figure out the difference in the choices what impact do they have i see the chemistry league wide opinion and fans support after you pick your answer but does it affect anything and how can you tell your percentage rate in each one

I brought it back from Sim to Default but am staying on All-Star. I just lost to Boston by 30 on that setting and got like a B or B+ team grade, so I think I'll stick with this for awhile. Coming soon... the story of my player (spoiler alert... he's becoming an *******)

Good season so far with the Nets (4th in the Eastern Conference with a 5-2 record). I'm the 6th man, 4th on the list for ROY, and got asked to be the brand ambassador of the Jordan Brand

The Natural had a great workout and discussion with the Rockets at the draft combine. The Natural was a fan of the team growing up and really liked their plans going forward. Despite having an understanding from Houston that they would take him if he fell, the Natural understood that this is a business and was happy to be selected one pick earlier and go to Toronto.

Things were no longer rosey as the season began with a thud. The Raptors kept getting blown out, and everyone was looking to point fingers. Needing to shake things up, The Natural was moved into the starting lineup early, but they still didn’t have the firepower to overcome their opposition. Tao K. Insider, The Natural’s agent told him that Houston was showing interest in him, and having played 5 games, they could now go to management about a trade. The Natch went to management, had a good conversation and they told him that they’d do everything they could to make the deal happen.

Well… two things happened. The very next day, the press was all over this as Toronto leaked it to the media. However, The Natch denied the rumors and continued to play basketball. Due to the information leaking, the fans started chanting for management to trade The Natural.

The last straw occurred when management (after prolonged stalling) claimed that they weren’t trading their rookie superstar. Having lost young superstars McGrady, Carter, and Bosh, management said “not again”. Fed up with the team, the lies, the management, and the losing, The Natural, once a local hero is now vilified by the fans. It doesn’t help that he is mostly arrogant or flat out lethargic in his interviews. While his teammate chemistry has dropped (the exception being his good friend Andrea Bargnani) and his local fan support has dropped; Natch's candid interviews, highlight reel dunks, and gaudy box scores have endeared him to fans league-wide who would love to see him out of Toronto.

Right now, there is an uneasy aura surrounding the team, fans, players, and management. Will the Natural continue to go through the motions? Will the team ship him to an undesirable destination? Or, will the 19 year old learn to mature and lead this team?

W00T! I got traded from OKC to Golden State. Rough first game, but this is what I wanted, a chance to play my desired position, and help a struggling team.

everybody keeps talking about this screen but i don't see it all i see is where when you ask for a trade you can pick 3 teams u would like to go to but other than that i'm currently on thunder but i had auto save on by accident now i'm stuck in a trade i wanted to go with melo since he with the grizzles in year 2 but so far keep looking like i'm be a cavalier when i sim a few games so i'm play them out hopefully i get a better squad i was 6th man on the thunder

How do I know which player is leaving?

It may not be the next game, but when you start a game they will tell you to pick 5 players from the entire league to trade for.

My player froze 2 times in a row on my 11th game vs. celtics. I think it may have to do with me getting injured with a twisted ankle mid game, coming back, and having a good game till the end. Then the interview people are stumped on what to say so they just tell the game to freeze and screw over the player.

imma 6'9 sf for the rockets avg 19ppg 8rpg and 2bpg our record is 3-17 arron brooks and kevin martin shoot just to do it never pass the ball yao is our best player and he only get 6 shots a game them 2 sorry ****s avg 18 shots a game wanna get traded but i gotta play out at least 1 season
