I got drafted to the Nets, demanded a trade once my favorite team (Boston) was interested in me.
What I didn't like though, was that after only 3 games of doing well I was put in as the new starter in front of Paul Pierce. Made no sense since I was 60-something overall and he's 80-82.
I could live with that, but I couldn't live with the rapid nature of trades. By mid-season the Celtics had traded away Perkins, Nate Robinson, and of all people, PAUL PIERCE. The Celtics trading Paul Pierce. Uhhhhh.
I like it though, so much fun and really addicting. Wish the press conference responses weren't so cliche/generic though.Comment

im glad you got your favorite team to be interested in you....i waited forever but i guess the blazers just arent interested in a PG....
as for the trades...my roster is still intact and although they asked me for my input on trades...nothing has yet to surface...still the same core of guys on the team
does anyone know whether or not the trade is an automatic shoo-in once your favorite team is interested in you? ---i might just choose a team in the off season rather than risk the likelihood of being shipped to a team i dont want to play for...Comment

The Thunder are 10 games over .500, leading the Nuggets in the division(barely) and rookie Lance Law is averaging 22pts, 7 assists and 5.4 rebs on 56% shooting from the field, and 84% FT. Coach Brooks is hoping to get his young team to put together a strong run to take 3rd place from the San Antonio Spurs going into the playoffs.Comment

I am quite sure this has already been discussed but i got two issues that i need help on. Well really one, the other is just absurd. lol.
1.) Any one notice that if you are having a bad season that the coach gets fired after 3 or 4 games consistently? Its crazy...
2.) I just finished my first season and won the nba finals. got to the white house and then it says... simming offseason... but then freezes immediately. I have tried this on both xboxes in my house!
Has anyone else caught this yet? and if so what can i do to get to year two of my myplayer campaign. I feel like i judt wasted the last week of my life! LOL.

It would be cool if they tweaked the injury animations a little bit. It seems if a player is injured while playing, he either limps for a few seconds and then picks up speed again all the sudden or he has a stomache ache lol.

i might have to check again but the last time i looked over the hiring and firing list, there was not a single listing for a coach that got fired....literally none at all...the list is blank
i havent really keen in on how good or bad the other teams around the league are doing but my team is 1st place with like 63 wins and 10 losses....so there wasnt really a reason to fire my coach...Comment

it would make things more realistic...but i sort of get pissed when my teammates play while being injured...they're slow and unreliable...and im worried they might get re-injured or get a more severe injury....Comment

i'll play it safe and wait until the off-season if i desperately want out of chicago
but im still not too sure...it's a solid team with derrick rose at sg...i just dont feel too comfortable with the idea of lowering his stats since i handle the ball so much....
upside is that it's a young team and the core group of guys(noah, rose, deng, boozer, and gibson) will remain in chicago if the front office doesnt make stupid trades
lol i do really want to play for the blazers though(also a young team)...too bad oden is injury prone....

-if so, that gives me hope since i would always get like 2 steals and 2 blocks...i just cant muster up the additional 1 for each category
im pretty sure it doesnt have anything to do with that milestone(god forbid) but did you save your game during a timeout?Comment

it's already been mentioned i think but they need to fix the charge fouls....i used to be able to stop offenses by drawing charges in nba 2k10....havent done it once in 2k11....
again, another double standard thing....the cpu can draw a charge on me but i cant on them....

i already heard about the 3-1 deficit in the playoffs that gives you 2x the skill points for your comeback victories in the series....but does the rivalry games bonus still take in affect during the post-season and apply for regular playoff games even if you're not in a deficit?
for example:
the heat are going to be the second seed in the eastern conference playoff(if they continue at the same rate of winning), they're a rival team to my bulls...when or if we do face off...does the rivalry game bonus apply to each one of the game(possible 7 game series)?Comment
