there is a copy on ebay going for 207 bucks as of this moment im posting this. I really want to get my hands on the game asap but getting the game early is not worth 207 bucks

My thing is even if you win, and you get expedited shipping, chances are you won't get the game until Thursday or Friday which is... wait for it... when other Mom & Pop stores are saying they'll have the game. 207 bucks for an hour head start. Well done

Well he says he does have overnight delively, but I do agree with you... it is not worth paying that much for a game that by Thrusday you can get for the regular price...

The funny thing is it will probably finish out at about $300. Thursday will be the earlist but if the winner can hold out a day or so he probably can get it for about $80-$120 with overnight shipping and still have it for the weekend.

exactly thats absurd paying more then 100 dollars just to get the game early,i wish i had the game early id probally sell it for that much to any idiot trying to overpay for the game and isnt patient.

Are they selling it to make a little cash or is the PS3 version subpar Gotta wonder. By Friday whoever wants a copy should be able to find one

I'm not even mad at you. Just jealous because I would do the same thing. I would just put it for Buy now and find a Fed Ex hub in your area and guarantee it by tomorrow if sold in the next 2 hours and stress wed delivery and you will get the $200. Good luck

Damn, I would pay that kind of money for a copy overnight in Canada. There is literally NO store in my area that sells it until the 5th, and I wanted to get some gaming in this weekend before my tests start next week.

for information purposes, in my experience, the past few years nba 2k is usually not available to early-retailers very early. i think the best i did was a friday (last year i think), but typically it's more like saturday or definitely monday. i'm pretty surprised this thread has started so early this year. must be them two confirmed owners.

that being said, happy hunting.

my sources are telling me they're hopeful to have it friday. again, historically, friday is usually optimistic. saturday or monday are more the norm.

the only games that seem hit retailers' stock rooms super-early are the AAAA titles, like halo, gears of war, probably call of duty. unfortunately, as far as your typical mainstream gamer, nba 2k games aren't considered in this class, thus aren't pumped out extra-early to retailers for midnight releases.

I wont be able to get 2k early because im not going to self out that kinda of cash but i will get it at around 2 in the morning.

I have a cousin who works at walmart unloading the trucks and things like that so i hit him up to see if he would be able to grab me a copy (legally) but he was like the machines wont scan them until the are stocked and put on display. Thats why you sometimes see people at walmart and other stores walking around with those radar gun looking things scanning the bar codes on different items. When they do that thats when you can buy the game so like i said with walmart you have to wait until its put out well at least the walmarts around my area.

But he works at night and gets off at 1 and he said he grab a copy when he gets off work and drop it off on his way home. I get almost a midnight release without having to leave my house.
