Mp3tag v2.46a luckily lists the mp3s codec. I sat down last night with a ps3 and the music attached via flash drive. There was 7 listed codecs being used throughout all of the files.

MPEG 1 LAYER 1: BAD (DOESNT WORK)
8ball
50 cent ayo

MPEG 1 LAYER II: BAD (DOESNT WORK)
2 unlimited- tribal
50 cent- get up

MPEG 1 LAYER III: WORKS JUST FINE!

Ashanti

Those are just a few of the ones I tested...

So I find this program called ImTOO mp3 encoder, and another called Oxelon media converter and converted all 459 "bad" tracks.

They all seemingly work on the ps3 now.

The only issue is that a few of the tracks have some noticeable "CLICKING" or "ARTIFACTS" that show up.

Ill get it uploaded within the next 2 hours

eko718 & zen master, good to know Im wrong with what overrides what. If I have one tipoff playlist forr all arenas, and one tipoff listed for the magic. Magic shall override and play that first?

But if lets say the bulls have no tipoff playlist listed or activated, the game tells it to play "ALL ARENA"?

jeebs, I'm using mediamonkey now to convert only those 459 bad tracks. I'm not seeing where it shows me there bad, But I have them in a separate folder so I now know.

If you convert them all, even the ones that work, I found I had some weird clicking pop up on the originally "good" tracks. So if they are good, keep them from being converted again.

If you want to convert yourself for ps3,
My only suggestion is to download mp3tag , sort by Codec, then use track # to make those tracks that need fixing unique. Then in your basic windows explorer, sort by Track, and now you know which ones need to be converted. (unless Im just not seeing where mediamonkey is telling me where those tracks are bad)

I have the 459 tracks fixed by IMtoo mp3 encoder and another set of the 459 fixed by media monkey that I will put to the test on the ps3 in a few minutes. Both 192kb, 48,000hz. Unless you go into each mp3 individually, you just have to set some sort of standard for all the converted files.

Would anyone be opposed to those fixed tracks being WMA? Maybe I should convert a third bunch into WMA and see if the artifacts are gone.

Awesome job Ruben, haven't downloaded the file yet, but I already know its gonna be quality.

Does anybody know if menu music will be customizable this year? I'd imagine not, but figured it can't hurt to ask. I already have my own menu music playlist and I don't like using the built-in 360 music player because you have to manually stop it before every game which is very annoying.

First two options up there now are as good as GOLD for xbox 360 users.

I'd wait it out a couple hours as I finish this process for the ps3.

If you cannot wait, you can get file option #2 and convert files yourself as some are doing.
