Hey man i want to take this time to thank you for all your hard work on this.. looking over the files I can really tell this must have taken weeks to do. I wanted to let you know a while ago than if you needed any help with this i can help you. I have computer recording stuff for my band and I can pretty much edit volume, reverb, length, gain of any file. Even from you tube. I was thinking that with the tipoff music being soo short I can edit all the tipoff songs to play the most recognizable or part that fits the best for the moment and that way tipff isnt a complete waste...
et me know if anybodys interested I have a couple done already.

I would love that.....But the problem here is that if they fix it in the patch. We will be left with a bunch of edited files. I wish we could get some info on this situation.

The custom sounds/music adds a lot to the game! Just need to get the volume in check. I edited all of them last night and as I get to ones that need more adjusted I'll edit again. One of the great things about streaming instead of putting on HDD. (No constant recopying files to HDD after every edit)

wow, i've got to admit.... that is some fine work and dedication!

My only problem is the same with the others, that the intro tip off music only plays for about 4 seconds. So, trusting that 2k sports will take care of it with a patch, when can we expect 2k to come out with a patch? I mean, how long did it take 2k for the first patch with NBA 2k10?

Ok, I found the Thunder tip-off sound. It is at 28 sec. in the video. I am convinced that it is a sound from an old Nintendo game. Does anybody know what it is, and where to find it so that it can be put in the game? Thanks!

megaupload hasnt worked for me in like a year...lol i dont know why?...

ps - I love this thread...I am the click effects operator for the Charlotte Bobcats...so what your adding to the game is pretty much my job in real life...I cue all these sounds/songs and video in the game, so i'm actually finding good ideas for actual games!

How do i fix this? When i enter the game and try to choose the different sounds... all i get are the folders.. ( In-Game , Long , etc etc ) i don't get the ACTUAL sounds..

Sounds like an awesome job. The vast majority of these tracks were linked back from the following team arena websites:
Orlando Magic
Atlanta Hawks
New York Knicks
Minnesota Timberwolves

and then compiled together to form that standard "generic" arena music file set.

Which version were you in need of? if anyone has a rapidshare account that allows a bulk 940mb file, go right ahead and upload it. I don't know of any other service out there so I went with the first one I used last year.

bigball12, it really does sound like a NES sound bit. I would recommend google searching NINTENDO sound bit, or NES sound fx, or NES 8-bit MIDI... I'll take a listen to a coupld tracks and see what i can find.

dontkillbill, you wont get the actual sounds. The game uses playlists. And your system does too. The sounds are within those playlist titles. Go to the dashboard and MY MUSIC LIBRARY to physically see whats inside each playlist and from there, you can create or edit your own (on your pc) if the songs dont fit your tastes.
