Not too loud, not too soft. just perfect. The newest file option 1, I ran all the files through a mp3gain type program to get all their dB levels to be around the same mark.. that has paid off handsomely.
awesome job on this Ruben. can I ask what db you have changed all the files to? I'm playing around with mp3gain but it would help if I knew a good starting db point. are you using constant gain or track gain?

Awesome stuff here. I'm back after a two year layoff from the 2K series and these files make the game even better.

Downloaded last night. Added to my watch folder and sure enough they all there (I think lol). Gonna finish adding them to the teams a lil later today.

Thanks for the time you put in on this file.

Does anybody here notice that the songs dont pay if youre losing? I played last night with the Lakers at Staples and in the first half it was tied and the home up/defense chants played and even the timeout. In the second half I got my butt kicked and no more chants played, not even the timeouts. I was down by like 25, though. Anybody know if the music not playing when youre losing big is a feature?

Hey Ruben...My friends and I thought of the sick but funny idea of giving G. Arenas - Got Yourself a Gun by Nas. Just that sample part of "Got Yourself a Gun". Would be awesome. We really enjoyed the player sounds though. My friend that didn't know about custom tracks. Heard the Kobe sound after a basket and said...."Wow 2K even went out and got the Black Mamba sound".... So funny how we had to explain to him to it wasn't 2K lol

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music

I got my TIPOFF, LONG, HALFTIME and POTG custom tracks installed for the 360 yesterday. Ruben is right about the TIPOFF being too short. I really feel like I wasted a lot of time creating the TIPOFF tracks only hear them for 3-4 seconds. I have to say that I think the custom arena music was better implemented in 2K10. I thought 2K11 would be an improvement, but actually its' worse. It's really too bad that they took HIGHLIGHTS away.

I don't know if anybody else is experiencing this, and it might be a glitch--but on AUTO time outs the CPU is only calling 20 second time outs for both teams. That means I only get to hear 20 seconds of my long custom tracks. There have been times when the CPU does call a 60 second time out, but it's rare. If I call a time out manually then I can choose between 20 or 60 seconds which is cool.

I have to give props though to the whole presentation of the Jordan Player of the Game. Now this is a vast improvement over 2K10. The video with all the special effects and highlights is outstanding. AND...it is perfectly implemented with the custom POTG custom tracks.

Yea Player of the game is very scary....Hearing the NBA on NBC 1990 theme during the Jordan Challenge for "The Shot" feels like I took a time machine back to 1998.

Yeah I noticed that too. I actually liked it. I was playing as the Bulls @ Knicks and was up by like 20 late in the 4th and there was no music. It sortve would been out of place to hear chants and upbeat music when everybody knew the game was out of hand

Does streaming work ok performance/internet wise? It doesn't affect online gaming at all, right? If so I'll DL this and throw it on my streaming pc, much easier than getting it all on the 360

OK, I apologize if this is answered somewhere (I'm sure it is..) but I couldn't find it.

These songs.. are they just generic songs? Or do we have arena/team specific songs? Also, if these are arena/team specific songs, is there a breakdown of what each team uses in each situation or are we just picking and choosing on our own?

I like my games to be as authentic as possible (adds to the immersion) so I spend hours each season on each sport's game to edit everything in my power to create the most authentic experience possible: music, stances, shots, accessories, etc.

Playing on PS3 I was unable to add custom music in NBA 2k10 so the addition of it to 2k11 really excited me.

Thank you very much for providing all of these songs/song clips, I'm just not sure where to put each of them.

**I downloaded #3 from the first post with all of the 697 songs all together in one folder.

The PS3 isn't playing other songs on the playlist. It is only playing one song as if it was on repeat. The only thing at really works in this situation are player sounds. Everything else its not worth it unless the its halftime songs for exact staduim. All you have to do is create a player for each event.

I think the files are mostly just generic but you can find some authentic playlist online:

the knicks and magic actually post the playlist for each and every game:

the hawks have 1 game posted online

I actually have team specific playlist for the Lakers, Celtics & Heat (pretty much watched games and listened really close, and watched videos of their cheerleader time out performances to get these list) Let me know if you want I could post them

yea that 20 second time out only playing 20 seconds of a custom track ISN'T a glitch. If Ruben Made the tracks only 20 seconds, that would be a waste of time because there are more LONG time outs than 20. I'm sure he put them all the same length of time. It really depends on how long your custom tracks are, its not a glitch

All LONG tracks are 70 to 90 seconds. With maybe a rare two or three in the 50 second range.

I played at Miami last night and I'm hearing no overlapping songs there.

                              It just may be MSG.

I'll play a qrt at each venue and figure out where the playlists need to be turned off

mgoblue, I dont think this streaming affects your internet performance. The router uses has two areas, and the streaming locally is different from internet uploading/downloading

I must be an idiot cause I still can't figure it out.

So I added them to my computer and am able to stream it on my xbox.

From the 360 dashboard, I can go into the Music section, and then go to Save Playlists and I see all the playlists there.

Do I still need to add those playlists to my 360 HD? If so, how do I do that?

I played at Sacramento yesterday, and adjusted their arena to the specific playlists and it worked, but how do I have it automatically populate each stadium with the sounds?
