Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music

Thank you very much for your hard work on the all the Arena Music!! It's AMAZZING!! I just hate the fact that some tracks don't play during the game but they'll randomly play once and then never play again.

I live in Toronto, so I know how many Toronto fans feel towards VC. So yesterday night, I downloaded VC Sucks Chants from youtube and I was amazing on how well works and sounded. Only issue was...... whenever Toronto held the ball, they would chant VC SUCKS!! I put it to AWAY Up..... I hope 2k irons out these issues. Other than that...... THANK YOU!!

^ How'd you get that to work? I'm guessing you have to manually add that right before you play Orlando? pass the file if you can.

For PS3 users who downloaded that pricless package on page 1 how did you organize your playlists? 700+ tracks on the PS3 Hard drive I'm just wondering if I should make general folders/playlists first called "Home Up", "Away Up" etc and then do sub folders/playlists with each team?

This is the file I downloaded.
I'll send it to you as a PM because I don't have 5 ore more post yet.

Yeah, I went to Arena Music before the game and just added it to Away Up. It works but only works when the Raptors carry the ball. The Dinosaurs track works but sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

The only way I've got the tracks to work for me, is that I created individual folders for each. I just hope when the patch comes out, it fixes it all.

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music

Well, for the most part, Ruben did a good job of having the folders laid out already. They were split up into 4 categories; LONG, IN GAME, MENU, TIPOFF, and TV THEME. In game included Home up files, as well as player files. So, in this case, to make things easier on my self, I separated the player files into a folder called PLAYER and all the team specific things into their own folder (for example, LAKERS HOME UP). I did the same thing for LONG, which consisted of the, you guessed it, LONG files. MENU was largely untouched by me, as it housed all the POTG stuff. TIPOFF was the same.

Now, as for the playlists, I made a general HOME UP playlist, and various Team specific HOME UP playlists, which was basically compiled of team specific files and the rest of the HOME UP files that weren't team specific. I did the same thing with the LONG files; 1 big generic long playlist, and a few team specific ones. Next, I went to the PLAYER folder that I made, and made individual player playlists from there. Afterwards, I made a POTG playlist from the MENU folder. Lastly I made team specific Tipoff playlists, and a generic one.
            Hey, Hey, Hey!!

PSN_Canibuss - Just played the audio, personally I think it sounds dope but it's too short (15 seconds). IMO it should be at least 23 seconds long for a full possesion or even over 1min where it could be used for a "Long" situation.

Yeah for some reason when I transferred all the files onto my PS3 it's just a detailed list of files, no folders. So I'm going up and down a list of 700 tracks, even before I transferred all the files over and just plugged in my flash drive it was just a list no folders.

I'm just trying to go the Jeebs route where I have everything prepared when the patch drops.

Well, if someone can just loop the audio and post it here, that would be great. Once the shuffle starts to work, we can have music playing and then next timeout or whatever, VC SUCKS!! VC SUCKS!!

If you are going to use it, it doesn't matter if put it on Away Up or Home Up. The chat only works when the Magic have the ball.

^ I'll be downloading Audacity and MP3gain tonight so I'll try to loop that "VC Sucks" chant and also cut the last 2 seconds off because it's dead air which will make it a perfect 24 seconds.

I haven't downloaded the file, but I've tried to make a playlist but in order to play all the songs I want...I have to make a individual playlist for each song file...but the new roster update is supposed to fix that, where I can pick any song I've uploaded from only 1 playlist?

I'm really hoping 2K can do something about the really short tipoff length. I was watching a youtube video of the tipoff between the lakers and celtics during the finals. What I noticed was that the players just sort of stood around a bit, jumped around, stretched, etc, while the "tonight's gonna be a good night" song played for around a minute i'm guessing.

I wish they would make it where it COULD go longer, but you could press A to go straight to the tipoff like it is now. I guess I'm not sure why they have it now the way they do. Makes no sense...

Yeah it worked perfectly last year, don't know why they messed it up.

Is there an Orlando "Let's Go Magic" sound bite? I know it was on last year's 2K, but it rarely played. It hasn't even played in two games in Orlando on 2K11 for me. I couldn't find it in the three PS3 files. Thanks.
After more than eight years on here, I finally figured out how to edit my time zone!
