Has 2K addressed the Ps3 custom music issue by now? I keep waiting for a patch but get nothing.

-Far from perfect. I think it was only 8 seconds long. I did a quick attempt at looping to cover the entire span of a 24 second possession.. Sounds great in game

Fresh Prince, stadium music in real life is AS generic as it is for this set. Half the league probably shares the same tipoff and timeout music. I know someone had a great LONG playlist for the Celtics and in this latest update, I got the rest of those. But even then, Teams do not tend to play the same 15 songs you may hear in one game, all season long throughout every other game.

This is a true free lance project with no RIGHT or WRONG answer. Have fun going through the songs that you want to hear in different stadiums. Theres enough variety that you may never hear the same song twice over a course of 10 games, just as it should be and IS, in real life.

On another note, I have yet to watch a preseason game. Has anyone heard anything new or different or unique? How does this huge file set match up with real life?

Any new player sounds or ideas?....I'm really trying to get my friends to change the Kobe and LeBron player sounds...it literally makes me want to throw up. The take over and some other jay-z song. Which really don't make sense to me.

Well I KNOW that the Heat play a song similar to Car Wash when bringing the ball down court.

i just finished adding the tracks. leaving all home and away up music blank (none).. i added the home and away files to the chants and defense sections. i didnt hear one bit of 2k's crowd chants or anything. nothing. the music didnt play every trip, but it played most of the time. so frustrating. im about to just not use any custom arena tracks at all bc it seems 2k did an ok job IMO. i may leave the long playlists and post game stuff in, but other than that leave the default playlists in..

sigh!!

So I played a game at PHX without home up/away up or chants being used. Unique environment. I heard the same in game chants like 20 times though. so maybe its not all well without anything

Played again at NOH. This time I heard a bit more instrumental/music type stuff from the in game music department. I also heard a few chants that appeared to be recorded TERRIBLY. I'm talking a two person "DEFENSE" chant, where you could tell it was two people doing it. A CHARGE chant without crowd participation, and a few instrumental/musical events that just sounded like white noise. You could tell something was being played but it was way too quiet.

So even the in game stuff is flawed to a degree

Im not sure where I'll go from here

Both ways are basically at the same mediocre level. But combining the two, frustratingly, doesn't yield better results.

In game sound tunes:
Over the course of one game, I maybe heard 15 unique sounds. With a select few being played over a dozen times.

What I do love about the current in game sounds:

LETS GO SUNS chant
LETS GO HORNETS chant..

I think just about every team may have that chant. But I think I only heard it in game two or three times during the game..

Im so lost right now.

Maybe I need to change my presentation settings so that I only hear PA and record the lets go chants from 2k11 and reinsert them into my own custom music..

sounds like a lot of work that 2k shouldve been doing and not Me

okay thats pretty cool.

turn everything down in presentation but PA volume. You get a really hear for whats in the game.. I may record a couple games audio and see just how unique one venue is from the other.

Gotta love the PA announcer too. So unique in every venue.. If I can pinpoint those team chants, I might just re insert them back into the game via playlists.

that didnt take me long to decide that one lol
