Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
For lakers fans, here is 2 versions of Benny and the Jets:
Here is a live one that i made:
Feedback is welcome
The live one is the one you need to go with the LA is the only place I've heard this song used so if you're trying to replicate the Staples arena that live one is pretty good. Probably need to loop it one more time so we can hear the melody more than once.Comment

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
I haven't updated my 2K11 with the patch, after reading about the patch messing up peoples custom sounds on PS3, is there anyone facing problems on 360 after downloading the patch?
I attended a Cavs game in cleveland over the weekend against the grizzlies. I must say their sound system STINKS! I could barely hear any of the player sounds/songs after a made basket. I did make a list of the tip/to/home up the away up was basically just defense chants no songs or anything. I'll post that up in a few min if anyone is interested.Comment

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
I guess Ive been experiencing too that in some arenas the songs play ok and in others they hardly play at all. For home up - the songs rarely play, tried putting home up songs under the team chants - the songs played for a little while then stopped. Now I have home up songs selected for home up and team chants, so IDK what I should do to get the songs to play more consistantly in all arena's, im on PS3.Comment

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
I haven't posted in a few pages. But let tell you my experience. If you get into a game. And change any game settings. The game won't play any sounds at all. Right now I have generic tipoff, generic home up, generic long, generic halftime and generic potg. I do have team specific for tipoff, halftime, long and potg. I use the playlist generic home up for away up. For team specific I only put the one songs for each event. Like the Knicks and Lakers have 5 songs each. That's the only 5 in their LONG playlist. If the Kings only have one 1 team specific LONG. That is all they get. I wanted each arena to feel different.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
When the music stops playing, I always hear it dimly in the menus. I hear defence, defence. Also defence chants happen when home team has the ball and I know i set the playslists properly!Comment

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
Yup...there you go... If you make any changes to gameplay settings. The custom music will be basically mute for the rest of the game. I heard music playing on the last possession of the game. I think the problem happens because the game is trying to save the settings. And when it looks back at the settings that were saved. It doesn't match up. So it plays no music.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
Hhhmmmmm, that may stop the music from playing, but I don't think it's the only thing. I've played games before where my custom music just stops playing. Period. Usually sometime around halftime. I didn't adjust any settings, it just stopped.
I *may* have gone to coaching mode for a bit... I wonder if that had anything to do with it?
It's frustrating though, cause I dig the custom music. I will keep messing with it and let you know anything I find.Comment

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
Looks like I was wrong, played a game at Staples just now and did not even touch the game settings, custom music shut off 5 mins into the game.
Custom Music is still broken.Comment
