Im having the problem that when i play the game there is no commentary audio, I check the setting, delete all file and patch, and still no audio. Any one have that problem??

I don't know what to put my custom settings as. I've experienced twice now where the music just completely stops playing, incuding the 2K music during the games. One time all I did was change my coaching strategies in the pause menu. The other time I didn't do anything and the music stopped. Ive tried putting home up playlist in the home up column, ive tried putting it in the team chant column, ive tried putting home up playlist in both and the music - when it does play during the game, won't play the entire game or will play the same 7-8 songs every game I play. Mind you I have about 40 home up songs in that playlist. My long timeouts playlist stops playing also during the game. I think what maybe the key to what jeebs is doing, I think he may have home up playlists for specific teams and long timeout playlist for specific teams. But I have just on generic home up playlist and long timeout playlist set for all the teams.

Maybe I need to make different playlist for all of the teams, instead of just one to make this feature work better?? At this point it seems 2K needs to patch the PS3 again and correct this. Has anyone alert Ronnie or the devs about this issue yet?

yeah same here and im getting pissed off. last night i started an Association and my first game all of a sudden no music or anything 5 minutes into the game. first time it ever happen at Staples Center.

then for the next game in phoenix, i removed CHANT TEAM and used HOME UP again and everything was fine until the last few minutes of the game when the all the music stopped.

does HALFTIME & POTG work in Association?

there is no scratch on the disk, you can hear the music, crowd, PA,chatter,costum arena music, But no the commentary, the volume is 100. Delete the patch, try without it and still doesnt work.

Serious question. Are the default sounds in game any good? Do all stadiums feel the same? I bought the game last week and instantly installed all these sounds. I've been having the usual problems.

What a cool idea!

I am making classic 70's rosters (see roster section on this OS site- should be released this week) and want to create 70's music in game to make it a fully immersive experience. So I will replace a lot of the hip hop with disco/rock. Everything from The Commodores to KC and the sunshine band to Ted Nugent, LOL. But naming hundreds of files will take too much time to get it done this week.

Yes but I am still trying to figure this out.
Thumb drives don't copy over. I tried.
Streaming seems to be the only way to do it without spending a month on it.

Any other thoughts on the best way to do it?

Serious question. Are the default sounds in game any good? Do all stadiums feel the same? I bought the game last week and instantly installed all these sounds. I've been having the usual problems.

actually there very good. its just that im so used to the custom music now lol.
but u can play without them.

ok i just played in Memphis and finally finished a game with all the music playing. i removed my playlist from CHANT DEFENSE. so in that game i only used LONG, HOME UP, HALFTIME, POTG, & PLAYER SOUNDS.

i did not touch any setting either though.

Yeah, the in-game sounds are pretty good. Problem with some of them is they play so rarely. That's something I don't understand.

In my opinion the game has enough chants so we don't have to set them.

MEGA SET:
Includes pretty much every file that was posted here in link form, every file file set update. Even the recommendations that were given were in turn, created. Pretty much, if you had downloaded everything separately, this is what you'd have accumulated eventually.


Warning, No audio adjustments have been made. Please use a program like mp3gain to mass adjust the files.

PS3 gamers have given values of 87 to89dB as the recommended settings
XBOX 360 gamers have given values ranging from 93 to 97dB
