wrestlinggod1, it appears that way looking at the 2k11 screenshot. You scroll left or right through the playlists it appears. Unless my thought process is wrong there, It just doesnt appear to be like last year where you could have multiple playlists attached to events.

butie120, you're definitely on the right track. I'm not sure what the game does. Last year, it seems like it didnt go in any particular order, more like a shuffling mode. Sometimes its your 4th track on that playlist for tipoff. sometimes #1, or sometimes it plays #2 five times in a row. truly random from what I saw. Do not plan your playlists according to how you want them played in game because I doubt that system is in place. This year could be different, so I guess stating it as a fact is wrong of me. But shuffling of songs makes sense.

sadio, Your team ARENA playlists overrides the "GLOBAL ALL ARENAS" playlist. So you could basically have <none> set for every arena and just use all arenas for your playlist creation. To my knowledge and people here have refreshed my memory, if you set in a TEAM playlist after all ARENAS, the team playlists will become the #1 option. So if you have "generic tipoff all" for all arenas, then come in and set the lakers to have one specific playlist, the lakers playlist will become the #1 option.

This leaves you with setting up "ALL NBA" with a great variety, and then coming in later to sprinkle in all the specifics that you want.. Maybe you want just 3 teams with specifics. Set the ALL NBA playlists up, then come in and mess with that other team specific arena, and youll still have great variety.

My playlists were on the PS3, when I get home I'll count how many playlists I have on there exactly tho, then keep adding to see if/what the max is.

Can someone tell me what effect adding the custom music has on the organs already in the game? Will they just mix in with whats already there or omit it entirely? Reason I ask is that I am quite impressed with what 2K did this year bringing the actual arena sounds too the game the best they could and I would like to just add in between where I see fit. Lemme know. Thanks

Does anybody have the Knicks defense chant with organ sound? I checked the file I downloaded in this thread, and amazingly it wasnt there. Im hoping I just missed it in the file somewhere. Here is what Im talking about.

I actually jumped the gun on this a little bit. Just played at the Garden last night, and the defense chant with the organ is in the game. Its not perfect, but its pretty good. Doesnt happen all the time either, its pretty random just like in real life. Happens a little more in the 4th quarter like its supposed to.

From what I've heard, It will take over all of the ingame tracks and you will only hear 1 track over and over unless you add a variety.

This isnt helping anyone as they build playlists, but I've got more.

Some OSers have been gracious to send me stuff. I did some more tweeking, and got it all down in one complete zip file..

- NYK Organ from that youtube vid is included. I attempted to loop it for a complete 24 seconds..
-Also included is a Cavs D-FENCE chant

i d/l the files for the 360 but i may hold off in adding them in game....the atmosphere and the constant organ playing in some of the stadiums really captures the authenticiy..plus iim afraid if i add custom music it might overlap some of the great bells and whistles of the arena sounds...

need to test it out on a few venues...NJ particularly...

add the songs for the TIMEOUTS (LONG) they make the game sound more realistic

any insights on how it sounds in game would be great goofs. I might just use LONG and TIPOFF and call it a day.. It doesn't hurt to prep yourself though. Last year, team chants and defensive chants were NEEDED and some in game stuff ESSENTIAL for arena differentiation. But with the 1,000+ new sound fx, all this work could be null and void, and I would never be happier
