Thank ChaseB....I totally agree with online Franchise vs user part. I played that a lot when I played 2k10. That was one of the only ways I could play franchise mode. I hate playing the CPU. That feature gave the game a lot of value after 7-8 months. My friends and I would play games with the newest rosters. It was pretty fun.

1)When u bring in the classic players to the association what age do they start at?

2)I don't want to bring the classic teams in.But can I bring in the classic players to association as free agents?(like old school Madden when u got the card of a player example John elway he be a free agent in your fanchies are a player to pick in the fantasy dreft.)

Chase two questions:
1. There was an issue in 2k10 where the cpu would sometimes get backcourt violations by inbounding the ball into the backcourt after a timeout or deadball (sometimes 2-4 times a game). Have you seen this occur much?

2. In 2k10 the cpu would sometimes attempt alley-oops with no teammates in sight, resulting in constant turnovers with either the ball sailing out of bounds or being stolen. Have you seen this occur much?

-It doesn't seem like every star player will re-up with their squad this year, or at least SimBaller noticed this issue and set out to correct it.

I don't think that is a huge problem unless all of the star players didn't re-up with their squad...

THANK YOU, ChaseB, you answered or addressed all my q´s ... hope you get some rest ... thus I have a few new questions:

Can you please post the names of all the classic players that are on the classic teams besides the Bulls ones ? Mostly so peopple like portlandblazer can start creating the missing ones.

Can you confirm that we can or cant trade coaches in the main mode (not association) ?

Can you confirm if the AI ever does or proppose 3 team trades (only the user is able since it was introduced) ?

Can you post a picture or a list of the first couple of FA screens (more than 10 players) ?

Can you confirm if we can choose/edit/assign who the core players are in Association ?

Is there any list of the new stats/attributes they added to each character? (ex: John Johnson's shooting stats were Close, Mid & 3, but in 2k11 they were close, mid, 3 & fadeaway)

so they won't fix the bigs rebound/block jump issue this year?

Well, I didn't say that but it doesn't seem like there's a simple fix. It seems like it's something that has to be programmed into the animations to make them variant for different players.

Is it possible for the developer to just apply the same shorts length to all the classic teams in the patch? I know alot of people were complaining how the Jazz, Sonics, and Bulls had regular length shorts.

I think the shorts are short for all the proper teams, at least the ones I've toyed around with so far. I don't think the shorts are TIGHT enough, but they do seem short enough.

Is the Around the League segment of the half-time report included in Association? You said that games being played right now won't be included but how about final scores and matchups later that same night?

Are there different version of the "promos" between quarters or do they all look the same?

Yeah matchups and finals are in, just no in-progress stuff.

Online I've just seen promos for different games coming up on NBA Today -- they've been the same but with different players. I feel like I saw different promos though in some of the pre-release videos though?

All signs point to yes. I think the vertical ties into some things, but animations probably supersede it in other regards.

Have they fixed the shot chart to show all shots now?
(was buggy as hell in2k9, 2k10 on PC, showing only some of the shots)

did they take out the ability to put your back on the defender out of the tripple threat ? or is that just something not in the demo

Do you mean show your back to the defender? You can do that. You can also obviously post-up without having used your dribble and your back is to the defender.

Yes, also the shot numbers would be off.

Ex let's say captain Kirk went 6/11 from the field, this is reflected in the box score but the shot chart only acknowledges 1/5 and shows their respective O and X's.

This is especially evident by the end of the game.

Also, if you guys want, I can pepper in some of my impressions along with answering questions? There will be a final preview Monday that will be mostly focused on gameplay in the final version (though obviously I will touch on the modes at least a bit) but I figure it wouldn't hurt to dabble the thread with impressions if you all want.
