When I simulate an Association, I'll look into it.

The CPU is very aware of the mismatches and will call for doubles. Some are more instantaneous than others it seems in the post, but they will come on mismatches. If a user gets involved with a mismatch, he has to call for the double, the CPU won't do it for you.

Do they still slowly move (jog) to double-team or will they rush to double-team based on how fast you hit the controls? I'd hate to let a guy like Johnson or Pippen have enough time to post a couple dribbles before my teammate comes over...

Well, you can either have the CPU pick out who should double, or you can select a player to double. As for the pace of the doubles, I think you can make an argument they are not fierce enough at points still. But, I don't feel cheated when I've called for the doubles either.

Yeah I mean not all their sets are instantaneous, but it's clearly a Phoenix-style offense. And Dudley's jumper looks much better than his generic one from 2K10 -- I was not a fan of that generic shot for anyone, it was way too long. Actually, while on the topic, it looks like DJ Augustin got a new jumper, too. He had that super fast jumper last year (may have been generic as well) and I could never hit a shot with him online because of it.

I agree, glad to see that jumper is gone..theres was really no way to get that shot off in 2k10 and rendered him nearly useless..Thanks again.

4. You can assign someone as a "Star" this year rather than just a "Starter." In addition, it seems like the sub-role within the player role is gone, so you just pick sixth man, prospect, etc. and that's it now.

By the way, in respect of 4, can you check if you can list any player as star, regardless of overall rating ? and, does this has any effect on his trade value ?

I mean, teams now are aware of core players, players should have too much value on a given system, but looking at some trade offers that Da_Czar recorded, players who are not franchise type (have less than a 90 ovrll rating) are been offered/trade too much (like Nash, Nowitsky) ... this makes me believe that its because they are not labeled as core players or maybe stars ... so can you please check if they are and also, can you make a normal player a star and see if it alters his trade value and makes offers less frequent ?

As an added note, looks like Rasual Butler does not have that generic jumper either, so maybe it was removed.

Thanks. Is there any way to set defensive matchups before a game during our association? Example, if I see I am about to play the Wizards, can I set tight defense to Gilbert or do I have to wait until I actually play that game.

Hey Chase, since you have gotten into Association can you please answer my questions? All I want to know is if the pre game intros that show player faces one after another happen in association games as well, and if yes what happens if you have a cap/generated rookie in the starting lineup, will the game show his face? Also I wanna ask if Damon bruce during halftime shows calls out the names of caps/rookies. Thanks

I'd just like to be able to get the pc version of the game on release date. I don't think I'm the only one in thinking they absolutely do not care about pc players this year with the lack of news, footage of the said version.

I know some of you will say the you can pre-order the game from amazon or get it at walmart but outside of the US it's not so easy. Game comes out in 2 days and steam and D2D don't even have the game for listing :/

I guess I'm just ranting, I'm anxious to get my hands on the game like most of you. Still grateful that they are releasing it on pc.

I'm quoting this just to say I'll handle most of the Association questions tomorrow since there are a bunch. So I'll just do a heaping of them all at once.

Just an FYI, if you hit multiple shots in the same spot close by a certain amount, the chart in the game will only draw one circle. Same for misses.

And make sure you're looking at every quarter...

All right so I've checked this out. If this is the case, then it makes some sense. In the gametrack, it said JRich shot his proper amount (6-13) but it only showed 10 of his shots as Xs and Os. However, I did take a few shots from a similar spot so it's possible they just didn't mark them.

You will not see "games in progress" updates for Association mode games. You will just see games that are final or coming up later in the night during those presentation moments.

hey Chase, something's not clear for me: if I won't see games in progress updates in association at the halftime show, then where will I see them, I mean the video in the latest dev insight what was referring to? Thanks.
