doesnt it suck? i was just watching some videos on youtube and his shot in real like is actually nice and flowing, unlike this jerky shot he has onthe game.. so i'm going to figure out something a little better for him.. but yea it is so frustrating because i have the shot down but then he changes it on me depending on where he is shooting from.

Re: NEW YORK KNICKS Franchise users!
I am a huge Thunder fan, but I am actually going to start my first Assocation this year with the Knicks and hold off on the Thunder until some good roster updates and a patch come out!
As crazy as it sounds, I am really hoping to make a trade for AGENT ZERO! I think it would be stinking awesome if I could pair him and Amare together on the same team!DSM Transfer.

Re: NEW YORK KNICKS Franchise users!
Just made a trade to a Western Conference team
Knicks send:
SG Kelenna Azubuike (71) | 1-year @ $3.36M
'11 2nd Round Pick | Projected in the 42-46 range
Jazz send:
SF C.J. Miles (61) | 1-year @ $3.70M
'11 1st Round Pick | Projected in the 14-20 range
Knicks gameplan:
Azubuike is not happy in NY. He's not playing much and NY wants to get something in return for him, as he is a talented player. NY gets a 1st round pick and can package that with their 1st round pick to possibly move up if there is a promising prospect. Miles will not sniff the court.
Jazz gameplan:
Raja Bell is not going to cut it at SG for the Jazz and is no spring chicken (34 years old). Azubuike will more than likely start at SG and help the Jazz make a playoff run. They need depth anyways and he could come off the bench. Either way they get a solid defensive player who can shoot the 3. Jazz give up their 1st round pick but will get a mid 2nd-round pick that might be packaged with another pick to put them in the late 1st round.
New Jazz lineup:
Deron Williams - 92
Kelenna Azubuike - 71
AK47 - 74
P. Millsap - 74
Al Jeff - 80
Bench:
Earl Watson - 64
Raja Bell - 70
Gordon Hayward - 64
M. Okur - 75
F. Elson - 61

Re: NEW YORK KNICKS Franchise users!
I have a KNICKS one going on at 6-3 right now, not bad, Gallinari is a great shooter, did not know they were such a fun team, I feel like I can go to the playoffs with them the first year and I planned on going for Carmelo, but I don't think I will be needing him because Chandler and Randolph will develop nicely.Comment

Re: NEW YORK KNICKS Franchise users!
I'm one of you nowsince 2K ****ed up my "Convergence" Association which included classic teams
I am now rolling with the living rosters
I don't particularly like D'Antoni's open offense no defense style
I'm oldschool, tough defense first!
so I'll be instilling that.. play smart, play tough, combine it with superior athleticism on the floor and BURN THE COURT BABY!!
AMARE! FELTON! GALLINARI! RANDOLPH OHHHH YEAAA BABY
IT'S ON!!! IT'S ON NOWComment

Re: NEW YORK KNICKS Franchise users!
Ill try to help here, I am new to 2K basketball and I play on pro-default. Clearly youre a better player than I am but here is what I have been doing. I am 3-5 right now. I don't have the luxury of Chandler or Randolph as both are out for close to 2 months. I start:
PG Felton
SG Azubuike
SF Gallo
PF Amare
C Turiaf
Curry is my top frontcourt backup, Mozgov's ratings are just too low, especially scoring near the hoop. Curry can rebound and get some cheap, Danny Manning-esque garbage buckets on putbacks. Turiaf works hard and gets baskets off sheer effort.
Douglas and Felton are good on iso's and screen and rolls, although Felton is a better passer in the screen/roll game so I tend to pass more with Felton and just hoist the jumper or attack the rim with Douglas as his passes routinely get picked off. On PS3 I use a lot of quick plays, quick iso, quick screen and roll, or quick post up. I call 13 Ice for Gallo and 14 dive for Amare. Other than that I just work the ball around and take good shots.
Mason and Gallo should be your "shooters" both are streaky but when they get it going its great. I don't really get Walker, Rautins (very awkward release) Williams, or Mozgov (only comes in if one of big men is in foul trouble) much run. With the injuries I am only going 8 deep.
I have a problem using Curry, I have just accepted the fact that I will never use him in a 2K game ever. In 2K10 he was automatically part of the lineup, and I would just refuse to play him. Same goes for this season, no way I'm playing his bum ***.
I agree with your plays, those are usually money. Any plays that involve double screens just tank horribly for me, I can't get them down. I tried driving to the lane with Douglas countless times, and I've come to the conclusion that I'm sticking to outside jumpers with him. Felton on the other hand is really good at drawing contact, so it's much safer to drive to the rim with him.
As for Gallo being my shooter, that was my plan, and it's ended up in him shooting something like 25% from the field. Might be due to the fact that he has back spasms for 1-2 weeks which brought him down to a 67. I'll have to just ride that out, and just look for some easy buckets.Comment

Re: NEW YORK KNICKS Franchise users!
Hopefully Moz gets bumped up to the 62-64 range shortly. Obviously 2K didn't know much about him at the start and understandably so - gotta boost his mid range J and awareness, possibly his def post and shot block rating."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: NEW YORK KNICKS Franchise users!
If you goto edit player and look under tendencies you will see where the players hot spots are on the floor. I took notice of Roger Mason's hot spots and scored 8 consecutive points with him with perfect timing on his release and a good open look at the basket.

Tough defense, smart half-court offense(from the inside out) is the way to go.Comment

Re: NEW YORK KNICKS Franchise users!
If you can get the timing down with Andy Rautins, he can be deadly......I just had a game where he went 4/6 from downtown.....I run special plays for him off the bench, mostly screens to get him clean looks at the basket......his release is very funky though, so he can be a bit tough to use.....my Syracuse bias makes me hang in there with himOG.

Re: NEW YORK KNICKS Franchise users!
Rautins def needs a sig shot change though, it's way off. I can't decide on if I want to keep him, Walker or Eddy Curry on the active roster."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier
