Wassup fellas I have a big question I posted in the patch impressions sticky thread... After getting the new patch I started my player over and now I'm not even being ranked.. I'm 20 games into the season at a 62 player rating overall and I'm still ranked at #50,000. Thats the same ranking from when I started. Any answers as to way that is?

btw I'm balling on the PS3

Online league game question regarding playbooks and a solid answer/workaround would be greatly appreciated:


I change plays for Dwayne Wade to what he should have as a shootoing guard but it keeps giving him the PG plays.

When I pause the game please someone explain how to get the plays I assign him to take.

The cpu defaulted him to the starting PG but went into rotations and put him as my starting SG and inserted Chalmers as my starting PG.


When I start a game Chalmers has the plays I want for Wade and vice versa.

So when I go into the pause mode to the playbooks I should have starting SG at the top

Then when I scroll the playbooks the position on the left should be at starting PG to override this glitch?

It would be appreciated if anyone knows this answer...or of course I will find out tonight when I try another method and assign his plays.

I don't know if this was posted. I was at looking the player cards of some players that have been released like Antoine Wright (SAC) , Bobby Simmons (SA) , Acie Law (MEM) signed with GS & has they played on PHI when they didn't. Acie Law's has MEM-PHI.

DJ White disappears from my roster after simming past a certain point in my Bobcats Assoc. His salary is off the books and everything... Very odd, never had anything like this happen b4.

The system I use is PS3 and in the MyPlayer mode, I have really been pissed off at how the 'heat check' window pops up whenever I am on a fast break all alone or whenever I have a clear lane to the basket. Also in MyPlayer mode, my camera view mysteriously changes from time to time during a game. The heat check window also pops up during online play, which prevents me from taking advantage of a clear lane to the hoop or a fast break dunk. This glitch is killing me, and I will not even bother playing online because of it. Please create a patch that only brings up that window when I press the directional d-pad up, and not when I am pressing ANY OTHER BUTTONS!! PLEASE HELP!!!

Ok this game seriously makes me sick, how the heck can this game be out 2 months already and I still experience the same constant freezing issues? my player has basically become unplayable for me, association mode freezes my games around the all star break, exiting association mode freezes the ps3. this is absolutely unacceptable this game sold very well on both platforms yet 2k seems to want to ignore fixing the issues that are killing their game, instead they want to focus on balancing to make it seem more realistic. how about you get your act together 2k and actually give me a game worth $60.

Hey there is one more glitch that i just found out.....Me and my friends were playin laker vs knicks and just for the fun of it we wanted to see what happens when most of the player were fouled out .....
We made d starting 5 as well as quite a few bench players foul out untill no substitutions were possible,leaving 5 players on d court each with 5 fouls....on fouling once more i noticed the player doesnt leave d court infact it keeps on playing and accumulating fouls....I mean WTF...this shudnt happen the team shud have to forefeit...but it doesnt ....

In My Player I'm playing with the Minnesota Timberwolves. For some reason we have two starters playing under ten minutes a game: Corey Brewer at 9 and Darko Milicic at 1. Instead of putting Wesley Johnson in, who's a SF that can play SG, the CPU keeps him at my sixth man averaging 32 min. a game.

Is there anything I can do about this?

Not a glitch, works exactly as the rules state:

In the NBA and WNBA, if a team is reduced to five players and one commits a sixth foul, that player must stay in the game; one additional free throw is awarded to the opposing team. Even if there are no free throws to be awarded because of an offensive foul, the one free throw will be added irrespective of offensive or defensive foul.

Major glitch found:

Since the latest PS3 update, something is REALLY messed up with rosters in 2k11. whenever I start a game, I freeze after I connect to 2k, at the "downloading rosters" portion.

Now, if I disconnect first, I load in fine. If I try and download the rosters via 2k share, they download, then I freeze at "Restoring Default Rosters"

My best guess is that I'm freezing while attempting to LOAD the downloaded rosters. could be either a result of the latest PS3 update, or the 12-11 rosters are bugged. Anyone else experiance this?

As an appendum, also freezes in demo mode, while loading the team logos (I assume thats when Roster data gets read for the first time...)

Trying a re-install of game data now...

Its a problem loading rosters; even if I just save the default rosters and enter the game not connected to the internet, it locks up upon trying to load them. I'm suspecting the PS3 3.55 firmware update...

My players don't show up when I start a game and it skips 2 the second quarter. When you can see the circles on the floor at the beginning of the 2nd quarter it has the same name on every player but names still don't show up. All I can play is my-player. Any suggestions?

As update to previous post:

Just for kicks, I did a total format of my PS3 harddrive, and attempted to run 2k11, unpatched, on the minimum required firmware (the one on the CD). Game ran without issue. Patched game only to latest version, ran fine.

Formatted again, and installed PS3 firmware 3.55, without patched 2k11. Game froze at the start of the automatic Jordan sequence (after the period initally when the camera starts to zone in on Jordan). Same result with patched 2k11.

In conclusion, NBA 2k11 has MAJOR problems with PS3 firmware 3.55 at present.

just played a game in my association - played 3 quarters and was up by 30 so decided to sim the fourth. instead of simming anything, the game just ended with a 0-0 fourth quarter(no points scored for either team). got out of the game and checked season averages for the players. stats were all messed up, i was about 10 games in but all the season stats were reset to show the stats for the game i just finished.

I've had this this same problem but in my player mode & its keeping me from winning rookie of the year so im not playing until a patch comes to fix it.I dont want to start over cause my player rating was 90.. Im on PS3: This occurred offline: 12 minute quarters: IF ANY 2K DEVS READ THIS JUST KNOW THAT THIS ACTING LIKE YOU DONT KNOW ABOUT THESE BUGS THING IS GETTING OLD & IM NOT BUYING NEXT YEAR IF 2K11 ISNT FIXED you'd think that if you tripped over a stump you'd be watching out for other stumps BUT 2K DOESNT LEARN FROM THEIR MISTAKES OR EITHER DONT REALLY CARE ABOUTUS

in my player mode, my player changed his face during the offseason
story: i was drafted by the bucks got traded to golden state and then to ATL mvp & rookie of the year got 1 ring and decided to join the heat cuz i knew they would suffer w/o d wade (yes he got traded for ben wllace )(da ai is stupid) my first game my faced hase changed
i look like i had botox and got korean pointy end eyes
dats wat i get after awards as a rookie dam dis sucks
anyone know how to change your face in the middle of the season
plzzz tell me or if anybody knows how to in nyc (5 boroghs) email me
prefered in queens or manhattan]
ps. 2k is killing me every time da slam cam shows up wit my face
