none, get a current nba star, need to do kobe over cause nba 2k10 had soooo many issues and made things look bad, do a kobe challenge, would be tight IMO.

I agree with this statement, after having Jordan on the cover I think the "WOW" factor won't be there as strongly with another player.

Possibly a cover with Jordan, Bird, Magic and a few other legends while following ace's suggestion of multiple NBA moments. That would be completely boss.

I agree with the moments from different teams kinda like NFL 2k5 (cant remember if they got the rights to player names though)

But I dont think they will keep a trend of legends on the cover if they built up to Jordan (i.e. maybe a magic cover on year then jordan the next). How do you go from the best player of all time to another legend, might as well go back to current players

I mean, Jordan is the G.O.A.T, he is on the cover, dominates this year's game and I get the feeling it may be a let down next year when he ain't featured and heaven forbid, he ain't in the game at all.

They could go with a Jordan vs [insert current talent] theme??

I think I have it....

GREATEST TEAMS FROM THE PAST! A whole new idea that would allow the great players to remain in the game and also pose some challenging marks to top including great games against other great teams.

They may throw in some classic scenarios, but I don't see another past player grabbing the cover. I'm hoping 2k decides to focus on an Online Association for 2k12.

Can't do it again. They shot their wad with Jordan. Anybody else wouldn't be nearly as exciting or interesting to the public.

Had they built up to Jordan you could've seen, for example, a Magic/Bird game. As is, nothing will garner the excitement of the Jordan themed game.

But while we're listing ideas, I did think of this:
Classic Association mode. You start with, say, the classic Bulls in '84 with rookie Jordan. After that year, you go to the draft, where all the actual, real life rookies of 1985 are in the draft class. And so on every year. Granted none of them would go to the teams you remember them playing for IRL, but building a team from the 1980's all the way up to the 2012 season with real incoming rookies every year could be a ton of fun.

It's already been thought of & if you are on PC platform, then there is a good chance of this being a major patch project for 2k11. I'm pretty sure something similar was done for 2k10, but with rookie MJ in game, it's a shoe-in.

I think Jordan was added just to bring in an abundance of people that didn't know too much about 2k. For casual sports gamers or people that took a break from games for a while, they have it embedded in their mind that people still play Live. That was back in the day though.

So, I think they go with Rose next year or the Heat big 3 if they win....even though that doesn't top Jordan. People who have been playing 2k for years will buy the game next year anyway. For the newcomers that came because of Jordan, they will now go with 2k after seeing how much better it is than Live.

Maybe have like all the teams from every year...filled with generic players that are fully editable. Let us have the option of uploading pictures to create the players and have a text to speech engine so that we can make the game pronounce their names.

I'd definitely like 2K to continue to expand on the classic teams concept. I wouldn't even necessarily expect an NFL2K5 greatest moments type of thing, but it'd be cool to at least see a few more squads, especially in lieu of MJ.
