haha...I feel the same, planning the whole day with kids, practice and work etc and finally in the evening being able to play NBA feels rewarding.

Here in Scandinavia Hockey is broken down and analyzed the same way as Football and Basketball in the US i suppose so I think there would be room for a real hockey game as well. Hockey is big in Europe.

Agree on the 2k cam.
My only prob with it is that I like to play as PG on defense and the PG i am supposed to cover is out of the picture even on zoom 1.
But I use 2K cam anyway.

My only big gripe now is the intentional-foul-glitch in Association mode which makes me restart my Association!!!!

Just saw sickness.

My player plays for the Knicks( been slowly siphoning minutes from Azibuke and Felton) and I'm playing the Warriors. I noticed that Monte was slow up the court with a slight limp.


Checked injuries and sure enough, Monte is playing on a twisted ankle and is DTD. Awesome.

This game pisses me off. I lost again today against the Bulls using the Spurs, and as I was sitting there figuring out what sliders I wanted to adjust, I couldn't think of anything cheap that happened in the game LOL.

So yeah, I get furious sometimes, but this game overall is the best basketball experience out there. Its tough, but not cheap (most of the time, the cherry picking is absurd.)

And I agree wholeheartedly about the tendencies built up from prior 2Ks. I find my self either trying to abuse ISO to squeeze into the lane, or ditching a pass to a cutter in a crowded lane (worked 90% of the time in past 2ks.) I hate to spend time practicing instead of just jumping into games (i dont get much time to play) but at this point, im getting my *** handed to me fair and square by the ai lol.

And this is the definition of simulation. When I play with a buddy of mine, we'll score about 30 points each at the half, and it'll be the most intense game ever lol. The defense is superb in this game

I have to say this because I've never seen it happen to me. But I was in the unranked Hall of fame room....and played this Orlando user.....My God...I didnt notice until the end of the first quarter. But he had scored all of his points in the point. A lot of D. Howard...Even when I backed away from the guy. He would still drive. He had 10 point lead going into the half. I start the third...playing zone and he still drove into the lane. But this time he was missing a lot of shots. I cut the lead to 2. I don't know what happen. But the paint attack never stopped. He pulled away in the fourth. Worst part was that he didn't know ANY ISO MOVES....NOT EVEN POST MOVES...

I still love the game...But was kind of surprised I lost on Hall Of Fame mode. It just goes to show that it doesn't matter what mode your on. Humans will find something and beat it down lol

My last three games:

-Beat the Heat in Miami with the Celtics. Led the whole game, Miami got within 1 with under a minute and Ray hit the dagger 3 to end any hope. Held LeBron to 8 points by playing off of him to minimize his drive to the basket and he shot about 20% for the game. He couldn't hit anything from the outside. KG had 31 with 21 of those in the first half. He was lights out from the elbow in the first half. Bosh had a good second half with 16 after scoring none in the first.

-In the second game I decided to take the Knicks to Miami. No slider changes. LeBron had 21 in the first half because he ran Gallinari all over the floor. Completely different game as the Heat led by 29 in the 3rd. I ended up losing by 17. Man, you can really tell the difference between a good defensive team like the Bulls and Celtics compared to the Knicks.

-Took the Bulls to San Antonio. Trailed by 17 in the first half and shot 34%. Way too many stupid passes leading points on the other end. Second half was a completely different story. Used Rose and Watson's ability to drive against the slower Spurs which led to more open looks for Korver and Deng from the outside to get us back into it. Finally took the lead 76-75. Trailed 80-76, but ended up scoring 12 of the next 13 and won 88-84. Outscored SA in the second half 54-34.

No cheese....all ball. Good stuff.

Agreed. Not the most exciting way to play a game.

But i do believe you don't need ISO to be successful at this game. It helps and is a fun part of the game, but it is just one of many tools available to you.

And hey, maybe if Orlando did keep feeding it into Howard like this guy did then maybe Dwight would have a ring by now. :P (half joking, half not)

Had a great game today. Pro. Sim. 12min. quarters. Nuggets(me) vs Kings

Competetive all the way to the wire as it went to OT tied 108. Evans and Casspi gave me a lot of headaches in this one BUT I gave them more as Melo was ON FIRE. He went for 60 points mostly on jumpers with 9 assists and 4 rebounds in 46 minutes of play. Nothing forced, all in the flow of the game. Play basketball not videogames. I ended up winning 124-117. Besides Melo, Billups,Smith and Martin stepped up. Billups hit a 3pointer and a jump shot at the end of regulation, Smith made a tough fadeaway and 2 3pointers and Martin made Thompson miss with a nice defensive play.

Btw, was wondering if there is any way we can save POTG ?

Just wanted to come back on here and just say that after repeated play throughs and play tests that with adjustments to only sliders this game plays like a dream. I am constant awed constantly surprised but what kind of dribbling i can do and have it look realistic, it's just madness.

There are obvious roster issues and some coaching style stuff that has to be done, but it' just such of a good core game that i don't even want a patch. because a patch might ruin it and that's the truth.
