damn, is it really that difficult to make field goals this year?! just played my first game on pro, simulation. I was the Lakers vs clippers. I lost by 9 pts and only shot 27% as a team. I don't remember it being this difficult last year.

the jumpshot timings may not be what you think if you haven't practiced. take that team into practice mode and see if your releases are on point.

Czar I'm using Shot Stick timing. Still too difficult to make shots even when you have a perfect release. I was in the practice gym with Rip Hamilton and I finally got his release down. I was getting green almost everytime and still was missing over a majority of the shots. I don't get it.

And they should bring the too early, early, perfect release, etc into the freestyle mode for practice. Not feeling the little icon with the green and red.

I am new to this game this year, does the game have button shooting or is it just shooting the ball with the stick?

Quick Impressions first of all im on PS3 on 1080p and the game looks beautiful. Quit worrying ps3 people. Intro is sick! love the new Isomotion. Love the new animations im seeing. Oh yes folks, there is DEFENSE this year. you dont have to call plays all the time, off ball movement is just fine. Im seeing lots of movement without calling plays. Even though ur playing on simulation, TURN UP YOUR SHOOTING SLIDERS!!!! I moved the 3pt slider back to 50, Layups to 49, and INSIDE & CLOSE to 47. Now things are much better. Try it

Just came home with my copy about an hour ago, wow this is one of the best game I ever played, playing with old teams is brining me back man, this game is golden, getting me so pumped for the season. 2k has out did themselves this year.

I thought it was awesome when they called goaltending on a block that I had, the ball hit the backboard first and they got the call right. Great to see that they fixed that

Wow guys, from the graphics to the sounds the great AI, to the unmated gamplay, this game is the best sports game ever. I'm seeing rings that are making me say WHAT that just didn't happen. Every game is so different, amazing game thus far.

Very early impressions...

The new playcalling system = awesome. So easy to run. Massive, massive improvement. Once you learn your team's plays, this is going to be great.

Old school teams = way, way too cool. Honestly, just way too cool. Bulls v Knicks from 1995 in the old MSG with the organ music = worth every cent of my $$$ right there

@Inkcil it looks good but not great 720p. U see more jaggies than u would at 1080p and its not as smooth looking. Its not unplayable or anything though.
