I am near the playoffs in my 3rd season with the heat. Lost in the finals in a **** game 7 against the Lakers, lost in the 2nd round against the Hawks in year 2, and am I 2nd in the conference towards the playoffs in yr 3.

I sim a fair amount of games, but I have NEVER made it this far in any association mode before. Plus, I haven't tweaked sliders in nearly 2 full seasons.

This really is the best Sport game of all time.

What sliders are you using?

I personally like ALLSTAR/SIM, but I am STRUGGLING MIGHTILY since switching from PRO/SIM

It's a tweaked version of all-star sim.

So just started a cavs association last night summed the first year like always missed the playoffs not sure what record was...got the 3rd round pick from the timberwolves and also got the 8th that was mine... Not sure if I trade up for number one by getting rid of Baron Davis he put up terrible numbers...Im goin to keep JJ Hickinson as a FWD lookin for a big center in FA got alot to spend probs goin to draft this great PG and SG in the draft the class is this years and the SG is a version of me soooo yea.... Check back in a couple of days

I was going into my 3rd season of my Pistons rebuild. After loosing to the Celtics in round two of a hard fought 6 game series where My Pistons were the 7 seed. Finished my draft signed free agents and ready to go for the Ship. Run a practice had to quit to go get my kids from school come back and now my dynasty freezes immediately after loading. Im devastated. UGH!

Almost like my association were I got #1 and #2 and drafted Irving and Barnes

It's a tweaked version of all-star sim.

I would love to stay on ALLSTAR/SIM, idk why honestly, maybe its my ego lol.

Do you mind if I ask what you adjusted from the default ALLSTAR/SIM settings?

Well after beating the Heat, Magic and Hawks... I travel to Houston and get absolutely SHELLACKED... I realised...I cannot deal with teams that fast break and drive constantly.. I like to run man on man and my Wolves get SPANKED by any team that runs and guns lol Oh yeah playing on Superstar with sliders suggested by someone on this forum, slightly adjusted to allow more three point makes for cpu.

Quicks Cavs update...

As you all know I've been STRUGGLING on ALLSTAR/SIM, so, for my most recent game I switched back to PRO/SIM for a few reasons...

1) I was tired of getting my A$$ handed to me haha
2) I wanted to have "fun" and have a chance at winning... Wait, this is pretty much the same reason as #1... oh well haha...

Onto the game...

vs the Jazz... Who have #1 overal pick SF/SG Michael Gilcrest along with the #3 overal pick of last seasons draft Perry Jones... So, the Jazz are a solid young team, with some legit scorers...

I jumped out early, 8pt lead in the 1st quarter, and I was thinking, damn, the PRO/SIM is too easy... But then, the Jazz worked their way back into the game and it truly was a fun, competitive game...

Fast forward to the 4th quarter, I'm down by 6 with about 4 min to go... I give turn the game over to Mr. Irving and Mr. Barnes, and they lead me to a one point victory, 91-90... It wasn't easy though, as I had to play tough defense on the final possession when the Jazz had a chance to win it on the last shot...

Anyway, back to PRO/SIM with some adjustments for me... It just feels more realistic... My PG doesn't get locked down by 7'0' footers on the perimeter and I can actually break people down lol...

Maybe when I get "better" I'll make the switch back to ALLSTAR/SIM...

Just started a association with the Bulls.

My little bro is in too, and he forced me to do a draft.
Chose LeBron first, then nash second. Other notable picks-
Ray Allen
Kevin Garnett

I think I've got a good team, do you? The first thing I did is trade Toney Douglas for Kendrick Perkins, since I "forgot" to draft a center. First game against the Suns, all they had was Chris Bosh haha. Complete blowout 22-4{I'm doing 1 min quarters}.

My little bro has Rose{errghhh} and Zach Randolph. That's it. We played our second game against each other, Nash and Lebron were INSANE on isolations against Randolph.

Traded away Monte Ellis and David Lee for James Harden and Danilo Gallanari
and a 1st rounder and 2 2nd rounders(Drafted a big man from Europe Valasomething, Tobias Harris, David Lighty, Lacerious Dunn) Signed Samuel Dalembert and Marc Gasol before the season started I traded for Serge Ibaka for 1st and 2nd round pick and a player and then traded for Andrea Bargnani with Dalembert, Valasomething next years 1st and 2nd

Started a Clippers Association and simmed the first season. I traded my 1st round pick to Cleveland for Alonzo Gee(expiring contract) to go in line with real life.

2011 Offseason:

Resigned C Deandre Jordan. Traded C Chris Kaman, SF Al Farouq Aminu, SF Ryan Gomes & a 1st round pick to the Sixers for SG/SF Andre Iguodala, Rookie SF Kawhi Leonard(1st rd 15th pick) & SG Jodie Meeks. Drafted SG Jon Diebler in the 2nd round. Signed C Tyson Chandler, C Jeff Foster, & PF Josh McRoberts in FA.

2011-2012 Lineup:

Association is so fun! I spend all my free time on it, hahah. I made started one with the Magic (my favorite team) and knew I wanted to make trades off the bat.

First things first I went into the Free Agent Market and achieved Kalena Azubuike, which is awesome in this game, doesn't miss from beyond the arch on a good look. I traded Earl Clark for Keith Bogans to spread the floor more than I already did. Then Malik Allen went, he never got off the bench, and got James Jones from the Heat, another 3 point threat. I signed Jake Robinson from the Energy (D-League) and he's a great outside shooter with a 93 rating! I then went on to make some MAJOR changes to my team. Hedo Turkoglu went off to Toronto again for Jose Calderon, I needed a good back up PG because I traded Chris Duhon away for a 1st round pick from the Bobcats! I traded Daniel Orton for a 1st round pick from the T-Wolves! Jason Richardson wasn't any huge use of me so I traded him to Dallas for A first round pick (Via Clippers) and Tyson Chandler, Magic are in huge need of some more height. And probably the biggest trade of the situation was Gilbert Arenas, Quentein Richardson, and a 1st Round pick from my team for Joe Johnson and a first round (Via Wizards)

A good 20 games into the season Tyson Chandler wasn't happy with his 30+ minutes and a starting spot at the 5 (Dwight at the 4) so I shipped him off to Golden State and got David Lee! Jose Calderon also was a prick, not wanting to be the sixth man, traded him with the Kings and acquired Omari Casspi.
Oh, I also traded Keith Bogans to the Warriors because I could never get his release down, I got Eddy Curry

My new revamped Magic team now looks like this...

I'm currently (45-12) on Hall Of Fame. All very close victories, my biggest lead of a win was 7. JJ Redick one for sure firer from 3 in clutch moments. All I'm looking for is a good backup PG. But, I have four awesome draft picks for that.

That was my problem with Beasley in the starting lineup. I had to ditch him after the first season.

I like Beasley... I am so attached to him it's hard to ditch him... although realistically I could, and move Wes into start at SF... or trade for some defensive guy like Iggy.

Have moved to 7 - 3 just lost to the knicks, despite amare breaking his wrist

I've yet to have an injury yet, it is kind of annoying... I like having injuries it makes the whole thing more challenging.

Is there something you can set to help your guys get back on Defense faster? I ask because I see to get burned frequently. Usually the team will grab the rebound and then the PG will run up the middle of the floor with a guy on his left and right. He runs right to the top of the key, and unless I have enough guys back he scores, or makes a nice pass for an easy bucket...

Very frustrating lol
