Probably should have noticed this beforehand, but after getting drafted by the Orlando Magic I was riding the bench on their summer league squad. First of all, it's pretty cool we're able to control our view from the bench - it gives a latent feel that we're actually there sitting courtside. Second, this morning I looked to my left to see Ryan Anderson chilling, then I look right and BAM, Patrick Ewing all up in my face. I totally forgot 2K had assistant coaches accounted for, and running the summer league teams no less. It felt like a Snickers commercial. He was all, "What's up Ryan?" and I was all, "Patrick?"

I have to comment on the camera. It's very smart this year. As a player-lock guy, I'm often away from the basketball, running back on defense or breaking out for a fast break basket. Older games would leave me off the screen and I'd often lose track of my guy and he'd get an open basket on me when the camera panned over for me to see.

This year, the camera pans way back allowing me to see all of the action, including myself on the other side of the court. It's nice.

One "little thing" that bugs me. On MyPlayer mode, my character wears a headband. When I start the game and they show the cut scene with him arriving at the arena in the arena's garage, he's wearing his suit AND his headband.

Who in the hell is going to be wearing their headband when they're walking through the garage?

while playing my player , it was heat vs the jazz ( i was drafted by the heat lol, quick championship my first year hopefully) and while i was guarding deron williams he crossed my player and i fell to the floor on my butt, embarrassing, even worse in utah the whole crowd went oooooooo!! lmao great sight unfortunately i was the one getting the laughing treatment.

I was playing a game in My Player against the Clippers and during the pre game intoduction they showed Baron Davis in a suit on the sidelines. I checked injuries and it showed that he was out for a few weeks with a broken wrist. I thought that was a cool addition.

i read somewere that at staples the crowd chants "we want tacos!" when the lakers are close to 100 point. In a game as the Lakers in at Utah, with about a minute left and me being down by 10 the crowd started chanting "Beat LA! Beat LA!" Oh and playing against the suns at home with about 3 minutes left I was at the free throw line with Kobe who had about 30 point in the game the corwd started chanting "MVP MVP!" It doesnt always happen im pretty sure he has to have a good game... I wonder if the same thing would happen against the Knicks...

I was playing as the spurs the other day at msg against the knicks and Kevin Harlen started talking about how msg is being renovated. It was pretty cool to hear him talk about it.

Got called for a kicked ball on a computer pass attempt.

If a ball rolls out of bounds sometimes players point declaring possession for their team.

i love that you can get called for illegal screen. i love how on defense the guy guarding the ball handler will do simple thinks like pull up his shorts or clap his hands. i love how i requested a trade in myplayer mode and in home games the crowd would cheer, "trade him!" and the announcers would comment on that. also during free throws its cool how you'll see the players come talk to you in between free throws. i saw one time when i got fouled in myplayer and vince carter came over, put his arm around me and took me aside and was talking to me. that was a pretty cool little detail
