Me(Hornets)
Eric Gordon to Pacers
Pacers
2013 1st to Hornets
Danny Granger to Jazz
Jazz
Derrick Favors to Hornets
-They drafted Jared Sullinger. So Milsap, Favors, Sulligner are opting for playing time. With Jefferon and Kanter at Center.Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
i like this one ^^^ i may steal it for my asso.
so im the raptors. I am using the OS trifecta roster 30 team control. i may keep ed davis or amir johnson (B- pot, best on team). I also assigned J.Valanciunas to the squad.
I want to get a top draft pick for A. Davis. So I will be making a draft day trade. i probably should also trade calderon, maybe JJ, etc early in this season to tank. any ideas that are fair?
these are my contracts to trade (minus the 1st year). Im not playing the 1st yr if that wasn't clear.
calderon 10.5 mil exp
amir johnson 20 mil 3 yrs
kleiza 9 mil 2 yrs
forbes 3 mil 2 yrs (team option last year)
JJ 2.8 mil exp
gray 3 mil 2 yrs
ed davis 5.5 mil 2 yrs (team option last year)Last edited by Cruzader; 04-08-2012, 12:00 PM.Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
This isn't an actual completed trade but something the AI is offering me and I'm genuinely torn about what to do.
Kings offer:
Cousins
Bucks offer (Me):
CP3
2nd round pick
Obviously in most cases this is a no brainer except since I'm the Bucks I already have B. Jennings so CP3 isn't quite as valuable to me as most teams. I signed CP3 in the offseason just to see if he'd even accept my offer since he's the best PG in the NBA.
This trade clearly makes me worse now but Cousins will easily be a low-mid90s rated player and is much younger and I'm ultra weak at Center.
Current lineup:
PG: CP3 (93), Jennings (83)
SG: Harden (86), Bayless (78), Azuibuike (68)
SF: Gerald Wallace (79), Terrence Jones (71)
PF: Ilyasova (76), Anthony Davis (75), Leuer (69)
C: Larry Sanders (72), Gooden (66)
I got a pick from the Cavs during a trade last season so I ended up with 2 loterry picks and happened to get the 2nd and 13th picks from the lottery giving me Davis and Jones.
Should I shore up my hole at C and be even better 1-2 years from now or just keep the beast that's CP3?Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
I have my reasons for doing it (mostly to get younger), but would it be fair if I traded Rondo for Irving and the #3 pick?
Keep in mind, Rondo has like 80 mid-range in my franchise (and like 72 3 pt), so he scores like 20-22 PPG.Comment

Pacers got robbed. Danny for Gordon is robbing the Pacers by itself. They would definitely not give a 1st and Danny with George playing at 2.Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
How's this trade? I'm the Celtics, and I want to trade Rondo while his value is the highest. I worked on his jump shot and simulated and he won MVP, so his value is higher than it ever would be.
Rondo
Johnson
for
Demarcus Cousins
2012 1st (#3 before lottery)
2012 2nd
Why I do it:
I do it because I want to get rid of Rondo (for my own reasons), and I get back a good big man with great potential, along with a top lottery pick, in hopes of snagging either Drummond, or preferably, Davis).
Why they do it:
Well, first off, Demarcus Cousins has made it known he does like SAC and he's been in fights with his teammates, and, in the game, has made it known he would test FA if he stayed with SAC. They give up a top lottery pick, but they get back obviously the MVP, JaJuan Johnson, and now they can move Evans to the 2 and have Thorton come off the bench as a scorer.
I plan on rebuilding around Cousins, Davis, and Bradley.Comment

not a whole lot? Bad contracts for mediocre stars.
You take the Raptors two best players(arguably) and a potential top 5 pick for someone who isn't gonna put them over the hump. Unless the team just had a bad year, and have other pieces that turn them into a contender, I don't see anyone trading a potential top 5 pick. Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
I'd like to acquire Al Jefferson from the Utah Jazz, I'm currently the New Orleans Hornets so who would be worth sending over?
I was thinking
Eric Gordon,
Chris Kaman, ( $13M expiring contract )
'13 1st round pick.
for
Al Jefferson,
'12 1st round pick.
Would it be a fair deal? The Jazz aren't going to be competing so they get a young star in Gordon to pair with Hayward, Favors and Kanter. Which would give them a chance to compete in a few years, while the expiring Kaman contract will help them add players.
I get an inside presence that is more athletic than Kaman and a better scorer than Okafor, a franchise player to build around. I also acquire another '12 1st round pick to go with the two I have (Timberwolves pick in real life) to add some talent around Jefferson.Football: Manchester United
MLB: Cleveland Indians
NBA: Miami Heat
NFL: Cleveland BrownsComment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
If I was SAC, I wouldnt. Rondo is a nice player but guys like Cousins dont just walk through the door. Cousins trade value is higher than Rondo even as the MVP. Plus giving up another building block for someone who is only gonna maybe get you to the playoffs? No thanks.

Anyways, what's a good trade for Rondo that can net me a top 5 pick and a decent building block? I don't mind packaging him with anyone else except Bradley.Comment
