That might be the problem right there. I never tried Sim...because the game was so perfect to me on default. Why make this even worst? I probably woud have turned it to seem if I was blowing out the CPU on Hall of Fame or having trouble with the paint. But the game worked so well on default. I totally for got about gamestyle lol

There is a big difference between breakaways and fastbreaks?!? The CPU teammates do NOT fill the lanes properly, and in the rare instances when you do get a 3 on 2, and should be able to score easily, more often than not a wing CPU player will just stop at the 3 point line, when they need to start angling to the basket from both side, the defense AI should have to commit to the ball handler, and pick their posion with the wing guys leaving one available for dunk, lay-in, or foul. Also, it should be like the 3 man weave...if i initiate a break and run towards the middle of the court, a CPU teammate that was in the middle of the court should fill a lane on a wing appropriately?!? All this Fastbreak "logic" doesn't appear to be programmed to me. If you are seeing this stuff, youre playing a different game than me. The only time i've converted what i consider to qualify as a fast break has been a couple times with the alley-oop button?!? Even the CPU fastbreaks (which do have a speed advantage when compared to user transition game) are usually just halfcourt passes to a CPU guy streaking down the middle of the floor?!?Comment

well I don't know about anybody else but I will say that fastbreaks are getting better for me everytime I play the game ....after I practice....lol
I changed the camera from relative to absolute and I changed the shot stick to absolute, and gameplay felt better to me...I think you guys have to keep in mind that if you have fastbreak slider all the way up and the game empo all the way up and the crash boards all the way up ...you are going to have a issue...
you can't have your cake and eat it too.....you have to pick your poison, in real life you cant crash the boards and get back at the same time ...play basketball not video games..fellas..literally
smart passes.., smart strategy as far as sliders, goes along way ..oh and watch how you guys are using turbo...it has different effects on the court...and I also heard that people say the game doesn't box out..and I have to say that isn't true either...practice mode is your friend this year..real talkJambroComment

Crash Boards have no effect on your fastbreak, which is what I think most people are having problems with. They only affect how much your team gets back on D with stopping the CPU's fastbreak.The CPU seems to be able to effectively break. What should be happening is that when I max my fastbreak slider, maybe I get killed on the offensive glass, but when I do grab the board, I should be able to put pressure on the CPU D with my break.
I'm going to try the default gamestyle tonite and see if I notice a difference.
if my players are all crashing the board on offense and defense..nobody is getting back on defense..yes but on the defensive side nobody is getting out on the break...I could be off but I think if you want to have more fast breaks you have to lower the crash boards slider and increase the fast breaks slider...just like you would have to increase the crash boards slider and lower the fast break slider to get more rebounds....I could be wrong though.....JambroComment

I was always under the assumption that the crash board slider was basically:
Trans Def(Fastbreak D)-------------------------------------Crash Boards (Off Rebounding)
And that the fastbreak slider was

Honestly I love OS and I love what it has done in regards to helping developers understand what we as consumers want but you guy opening thread after thread within 72 hours of a game coming out is beyond ridiculous. I've had upwards of 20 fastbreak points with various teams. First you guys want real - you get a REAL BASKETBALL SIMULATION and now all I "hear" is this and that about how too hard the game is, physic defense, or not enough trades or all this other BS. I pray to the Lord above that they only fix one thing - that fact that I can't save Simulation as my default playstyle on Quick Game. THAT'S IT. This game is practically flawless.
PLEASE LEARN TO PLAY BASKETBALL AND THEN PLAY THIS GAME! Not the other way around. The game adjusts to what you do on the fly and throughout the game. As in real life. I wish a football game would be this true to the sport.
My only suggestion for those of you that are having all these difficulties and this is real talk - play 5 games on Rookie Default. Then if you win scale it up. When you start to struggle put it on Casual. Then find your balance from there. Then just play the game. Adjust the game to what you want to see. Stop being stubborn. And to you online characters - realize that you probably aren't' that good at the game. You guys act like the Warriors routinely drop 160 fastbreak points a night. GTFOHWTBS!
Some of you need to come to the realization that you're just not good at the game yet.
Like Jeebs I'm playing on HOF Sim 12 minutes and I'll win or lose but I've yet to feel like the game is just doing bogus things and that is CPU and I'll GLADY post video.
2K - I owe you all drinks on me for this game. Masterpiece.
