I try to run a pick and roll, and i consistently am throwing chest passes to the cutter.

Where are the bounce passes?

Im not sure ive ever thrown one, and these would be of great help in many situations where balls are getting stolen or tipped.

Please go on the Insider blog and state these concerns about speed. I made the very same points and people there were going crazy. Dwight Howard ran a 3.14 in the 3/4 court sprint in the draft combine, the same as John Wall. Yet Dwight has a speed rating of 58 and Wall 96. Obviously, I am not suggesting that Dwight should be in the same realm with speed rating... there are other factors to consider. But my suggestion of guys like Dwight and Amare deserving around 70 for speed was met with so much resistance on that blog it was comical. Funny thing is, Larry Sanders, the Bucks rookie PF had a 68 out of the box and is far slower than them both... I guess some of these guys don't look at ratings. I adjusted the speed of athletic bigs in my game and it has made a difference for the better.

Its crazy that Larry Sanders has a 68 while Amare Stoudemire has 58. I might have brought this up with the Insider a year ago or more. I dont think the guy cares or the designers at Visual Concepts are so conservative he is afraid to really shake things up. He doesn't even do little common sense changes like with Dante Cunningham. The guy was a med range shooter in college. Shot well for an entire season and he has a 43 in med to this day. This is where we should talk ratings because the Insider doesnt have the green light or the will to make fundemental changes and changes to guys at the back of the rotation like Cunningham. I say back of the rotation but he is getting avg 14 minns in two games.

I look at the changes for the Insider on Portland and it all seems to be driven by the overall rating. Batum had a low overall so he got a boost. That shows a real lack of insider knowledge. Anyone could comb the overall ratings look at Batum's 69 and think oh ok I'll make some changes with this guy.

The ability to hard foul needs to actually work most of the time.

Just get more off ball fouls called. I see they implemented moving screen fouls, which is great. BUT I had the game since Oct 4th, I play it almost every night and have only seen it called twice since then.

Just boost offball fouls

im not sure if this has been touched on or can even be patched.

but can 2k patch the color of the Cav's home court? they have it as blue (as it was suppose to be) but since the league wont allow for them to wear the blues bc of the new uniforms this year they went back to wine for the paint color.

can this be patched?

Issues

• Cherry picking/successful long passes
• CAPs/My Players are forced to have nicknames
• Sock glitch
• Substitution/Coach Settings overlay keeps disappearing too much/too quickly
• On-the-fly coaching sliders move too slowly
• Plays don't initiate fast enough when you step on the icon
• Contact animation forces you into backcourt violations
• Change online back to sim
• NBA Today games dont load consistently on the main screen and/or don't include the entire schedule
• Classic teams need shorter shorts
• My Player has a headband on with his suit when arriving at the arena
• Score overlay shows up in replays/screenshots (really annoying)

The Camera for "MY PLAYER" PICK UP MODE is off. The dynamic view is off. It doesn't follow you it follows the ball. Sometimes you cant see yourself while playing. I hope 2k can fix this.

Option to use edited rosters on NBA Today, you shouldn't take away NBA Today presentation just because some of us want to edit the living roster or use a different one. Please patch this in, been begging for it since 2008.

If you manually call a timeout, prevent the AI from calling it immediately after you just called it

It'd be nice if the user controlled team was able to make bounce passes on the fast break. The CPU can and does, why can't I?

Probably posted but the ability to use a custom roster but yet can still enjoy the benefits of NBA Today is the most important thing to me.

Many of the ratings just seem all over the place. I am starting to wonder if some of them are just automatically generated as opposed to the Insider doing them. Maybe he's just the 'clean up' man. But like I've harped on for years is the evident lack of rhyme or reason as to how players are rated. Just when I think there's a certain 'scale' something throws that idea off completely(like Sanders 68 and Amare 58). A lot of the ratings seem arbitrary.

Another suggestion:

The new addition of players setting up behind the 3 point line is great, but does not work well at present. Far too many times am I trying to hit my center for the midrange shot and he sets up behind the three point line... I mean guys like Luc Longley. I can understand if Channing Frye sets up for 3, but too many non-3pt shooting Bigmen and players in general automatically set up behind the line.

Don't know if this is related to above, but on fastbreaks instead of my teammate correctly filling the lane, he often spots up behind the three point line, instantly converting a 2 on 2 to a 1 on 2 etc. AI teammates are just generally not aggressive in fastbreak situations. This also needs to be addressed in the patch.
