It would be nice if we had an option to turn auto play calling on/off. I can see sometimes where I'd like to use it, just not ALL the time.

Bigs are now boxing out, instead of going for a rebound right in front of them. This has resulted in guards grabbing too many rebounds.

This did not happen until Patch 1.2

Why are we forced to choose a nickname when creating a player?

I just created a player and put him on the 76ers, using the "ABC" nickname, and only the player's last name was used by the announcers throughout an entire game... And I was calling just about every play for him...

Maybe "ABC" means no nickname???

lol seriously...i found this out when i first started and i was drafted by the thunders...i was like this is a no-no...looked for the option of no nickname but i had to choose something and i went with thunder....


i rather be called by my jersey number...i am not going to use preset names either when i want to use my own name

It's probably been said numerous times, but when your team is in the penalty, Loose Ball Fouls should result in free throws. They don't do it at the moment.

I'm not sure if that can be patched, but if it can it definitely should.

It shouldn't even be called "create a player" it should be called "create a player with a nickname chosen from a limited selection of nicknames".

I think they've already gone through two patches, so I guess it's too late for the devs to deal with this. Hopefully there's a way to perhaps work around it... I think maybe if you choose a last name from the database the announcers will say that name instead of the nickname...



And it's probably best to choose the most "universal" nickname, or at least the one that sounds the least foolish... To make it sound like they are saying "that was money" just, you know, generally speaking.

There's a problem with loose ball fouls...
When a team is in the bonus, and there is a loose ball foul in their favor, there are no free throws, they take the ball from out of bounds. The team should be shooting free throws instead of taking the ball out of bounds.

Also, player roles are still kinda messed up.
The CPU controlled Lakers team have Shannon Brown's role as a Starter, Matt Barnes' role as a Role Player, and Steve Blake and Derek Fisher's role as Bench Warmer. Matt Barnes' role is spot on, but he's upset with the role, even though he's getting around 16 minutes a game. Shannon Brown's role is way off, and he's getting around 20+ minutes a game, and he's upset because he's not getting starter's minutes. And finally, Fisher and Blake are upset because they're bench warmers, even though Fisher is starting, and Blake is getting about 18 minutes a game.

These drastically need to be patched.

In regards to the bumping on the perimeter, I don't have too much of a problem with it, but I also think strength should be taken into consideration. If I'm using Lebron James, defenders should be the ones who get knocked back, not me. Also, there should be blocking fouls called if you try to cut off the defender but take the wrong angle.

fix fast break defense for human to many times they cpu doesn't do anything especially if your playing my player were you can't switch. to defend.

get rid of dumb ai players no more having lebron play like daniel gibson in my player. I shouldn't have to score like kobe just to have a fighting chance every game. this is not realistic. If i got a stud on my team let them play like a stud instead of a dud.

Fix the sensitivity of the offensive rebounding and foul sliders please! Not enough of either of those even when they are set at 100 (with the exception of shooting fouls). Also fix player positioning on rebounds to allow more offensive boards.

Is there even going to be another patch? Anyone know?

they need to make myplayer more realistic tired of playing with dumb ai come on make the ai smarter deron williams score maybe 5 points in a game since i been playing with the jazz i got to sim games for him to score or get assist

Lead passing and the pick and roll defense - I've played too many cheesers that abuse these two things to make Ilgauskas look like old School Shaq

All i want is for 2k is for them to fix the amount of post shots the computer makes, i have no clue how they can make 16 foot turnaround jumpshots out of the post with any player ITS CRAZY!!
