YES i can't get pass game 1 of the season it will freeze either during subs or halftime an the video/audio lags

There are three things to remember here:

1. At least on 360, they will never be able to give you a concrete release date because it has to be approved by Microsoft first.

2. EVERYONE really wants to know if these will fix running association or if they will have to be restarted. I'll play one with Chemistry and Roles turned off if its going to patch what I'm playing or else why start/continue...

3. PEOPLE need to realize that this thread CLEARLY says ASSOCIATION, cluttering it up with other issues just mucks up the process. What's more important, an association that runs correctly, or that the shoes look good?

Sorry for mucking up the thread but I think after getting some insight into the plans for Association some people are just excited to find out what is planned for other modes like My Player. Hopefully we'll get some updates on those too in another thread. I'm hoping Playvision and improved teammate AI make their way into My Player for the patch.

I agree with you though too that one of the most important questions is will the patch work for existing Associations, My Players etc.

association drills have been broken since 2k10. I can't believe its still broken in 2k11...shooting always only improves medium shot, and a great number of ratings cannot be developed at all, rendering players without high default ratings to be useless.

This is not a final list. Not all of these have fixes just, I just wanted to give you guys a heads-up so you are aware of what I am looking into for the Association. As you guys know, we are always listening to the community; so if you think we missed anything important, this is a good place to let me know.

Items we are looking into:
- Tuning down Homecourt advantage during the regular season as well as during the playoffs.
- Issue with players having their roles adjusted downward when they become injured, which results in a low morale, which ultimately results in skewed Team Chemistry values around the league.
- Issue where performing Weekly Practices makes your players have 1-star trade value.
- Issue where Intentional Fouls are disabled after participating in an Intra-Squad Scrimmage.
- Tuning Draft Class values to be more in-line with the players they are replacing in the league. Players will be less uniform in size/weight to their position as well (meaning there will be small chances for talented 6'6 point guards, 7' small forwards, etc.).
- Issue with trade frequency being greatly reduced in future years. Also, tuning the timing of in-season trades.
- Issue with good players still in the free agent pool after the Free Agents period has ended.
- Issue with the Qualifying Offers time period being automatically skipped on occasion, causing the loss matching rights on restricted free agents.
- Loosening the logic the CPU uses to decide whether to accept or decline team contract options.
- Issue with undrafted free agents signing unrealistic contracts (PC users won't notice this issue).
- Issue with in-game saves when the save is made while the game is in a timeout situation (don't create in-game saves during timeouts until the patch is released).
- Issue where existing players are getting their signature animations edited at the end of every season.
- Issue where users are unable to waive players during the Training Camp period of the offseason when more than 15 players are on the roster.
- Issue where Potential values are not being properly updated in the player progression system.
- (PS3 only) Issue where the game is hanging on a black screen between the first and second quarter in the weeks leading up to the All-Star game.

Mind you, this list isn't comprehensive. These are just the core issues we are looking at right now. I've seen a few mentions here and there of people saying they are hanging on a black screen between quarters. If you are one of these people, please get in touch with me ASAP.

my game freeze after 1st quarter of play.. does anyone have a fix for this problem?
and how about those intentional foul after intra scrimmage how can i fix it as i already play intra scrimmage a couple times..

I PM'd Simballer and he said he does not know if we'll have to restart our Associations or not b/c the patch is not yet completed.

one more glitch i experienced, m having a tight game w/okc and kd was killing me, but during the 4th qtr, kd was sub out by the cpu and was bench till the end of the game..the game goes to OT and the cpu wont sub him in.. since it was a tight game thought, i didnt complain during that time, but after i win, it doesnt feel ryt.. just sharing my experience thought. hope u guys can look into it

I'm playing association and having a blast. Is it a little messed up? Sure. But, there's nothing that I can't get over. I mean, the road records are out of whack. Well whoop de freaking doo. Because it's pretty much even for all teams so, it all equals out in the end. What else? Injured player's get pissed when the don't get playing time. Oh well, turn player's roles off or trade their sorry ***es. Honestly, it's not that big of a deal to me. I'm sure it is to a lot of people but, I play games to have fun not to cry about every little thing that's doesn't mirror the actual NBA.

With that being said, I'm all for a patch and I can't wait for it to get here. However, I'd rather them take their time and put out a quality patch than to rush one out and have something else be messed up. But then again I have this trait called patience. I know most of todays youth has no ****ing clue what that is but, oh hell well. They'll figure it out one day.

Last year the patch ruined Association Mode (player roles, big men shooting 3's) & I just shelved my Association & 2k10 & returned to FIFA '10 after that. Please don't do it to me again 2k.

Havent even started association mode yet. Waiting for it to be patched. What's the point of starting it when it's broken.

Broken? Pssh. It's far from that. Need improvements maybe? Tweaks? Sure. Broken? No.

Argghhh!!! I hope I won't have to re-start as I will be at least a year into my 29 game Association by the time the patch drops. Last year the patch ruined Association Mode (player roles, big men shooting 3's) & I just shelved my Association & 2k10 & returned to FIFA '10 after that. Please don't do it to me again 2k.

If I have to restart, I will just do it with a new schedule and go on from there. I dislike playing the same teams over and over.
