Re: Demystifying the Post Game (feel free to add on)
Oh snap! Excellent video my friend...thank you for compiling all the moves into one easy to find place. I thought I had my post game down pretty well...but I found a couple other ideas here to improve my game...
Especially the Faceup+drive+spin shot...lethal.
I'm going to be checking out the rest of your videos and possibly subscribing to you on youtube...
Thanks a lot KrazyEyezKillah!

Re: Demystifying the Post Game (feel free to add on)
Something minor I just realized...
If you catch the ball and are engaged in the post-up position and haven't used a dribble yet, You have 4 options with what to do with the left stick:
1 - Pushing the left stick towards the defender causes you to immediately start dribbling
2 - Pushing the left stick away from the defender causes you to do the faceup move
3 - Pushing the left stick to the baseline does nothing until you use LT/RT (using left stick + LT to do a quick baseline spin is DEADLY)
4 - Pushing the left stick toward the paint does nothing until you use LT/RT (using left stick + LT toward the paint does the equivalent of a faceup drive)
I'm loving how you can chain all these together. You shouldn't worry about what others think of you, because if you knew how little they did, you would be insulted.

Shame that I still typed this wrong when I took note of it when I saw it was wrong in the manual.
Yea, the running hook is towards your momentum, floater is towards the basket.

Re: Demystifying the Post Game (feel free to add on)
I am having some major problems lol, I do LT + RT and go into POST UP stance.
then I let go of the triggers, and my stance is still on, then I move the LS away from the defender, and all my player does is move that direction lol, I got majority of the shot moves down like Pump fake and such and shimmies, but faceup I can't do NONE lol.

Re: Demystifying the Post Game (feel free to add on)
Here is the post spin to an up and under.
When I get into the backdown with a dribble I tap LT + LS towards the basket to spin. Then I tap LT + X + LS(left) to get a fake then immediately after I push the RS in a any desired direction to go up with the layup.
Also, you can fake the up and under by tapping LT + X + LS to either side. You'll see the difference because it doesnt look like a normal pumpfake.Comment

Re: Demystifying the Post Game (feel free to add on)
Sometimes when I'm trying to do a up and under, I try to do the pump fake and I do shimmy. This happens to me alot when the shot clock is fading down.....
How do I make sure I do a pump fake and not a shimmy and what determines it ? Plz helpComment

The low post moves in 2K are sick. What I like about 2K is that dispite knowing all of the moves, ratings still play a part in executing.Comment

Re: Demystifying the Post Game (feel free to add on)
Go into practice, then choose post game. Wait for your post player to go into the post stance...he'll have his back to the defender and an arm in the air waiting for the ball. Then give it to him.I am having some major problems lol, I do LT + RT and go into POST UP stance.

In 2k11, you have to make sure he's in this stance to do 1/2 your post moves. If you just hit LT+RT while you're dribbling, you'll back down your guy, but won't have access to the step back move (along with others). You shouldn't worry about what others think of you, because if you knew how little they did, you would be insulted.

Flick the Right Stick to shimmy.
Hold LT+Right stick to pump fake. You shouldn't worry about what others think of you, because if you knew how little they did, you would be insulted.

Chaining a quick post spin into a spin layup is so fun to pull off.Comment
