Lmao at that last sentence. Because I have a limited time right now, I can't get into all the detail that I really want to so this will be a concentrated post (don't know if I can do this well...):
Blocking jumpshots are often the calling card of highly athletic teams. You needn't look any further than last year's Thunder to see that. Ibaka was top 20 in blocked shots per game (actually I think he was only 20th or 21st) but the team lead the league in blocked shots. A lengthy wing like Young and McGee who is extremely quick off of his feet will block shots. That's not something negative. The flip side of this of course are the people who turn down the vertical because they are getting too many of their shots sent back. In that case, I would remind people re-read my original post.
In terms of the hands issue, I guess this is different because of the way we play. I've thrown alleys with Rondo to KG where Da Kid looks like he's have a 6th man moment complete with a phantom Kadeem Hardison pushing him into the backboard on HOF/Sim and I've Josh Smith catch an oop from Teague in traffic over the Magic. Because both occurrences happen, I have less of a gripe with this but I really don't like the Alley-oop system. It's too inconsistent for me (one of those "the game's not perfect" issues).
Passing across the court isn't stupid. Look at the Golden State Playbook. There are actually "Skip" plays in there. The problem is that people will pass across the court without rhyme or reason. At best, the person happens to look open, so they chuck it there. Now, that's stupid. Skip passes have to be set up like a post entry pass.
In reading this and my PM's I'm beginning to realize that I should make a new thread about what to do instead of modifying the sliders, lol.
Have to run.
