For my game, I only have issues when I saved in the middle of a game and try to continue that game, normally after a timeout. Are you talking about my PS3 profile or my 2k profile? If its the 2k profile, how do I log out of that?

how do you log out of the profile before the NBA Today vs screen? The files load automatically? This didn't seem to work for my freezing problem of trying to Quit a franchise and go back to the main menu. Game has frozen every time today I have tried

When you start up your game the first thing you need to do is sign out of your profile before the game starts loading files. Once you get to the versus screen you can then log back into your profile. Make sure you turn autosave OFF. Once you start your season, association, Jordan Challenge, My Player, etc you need to log out of your profile to avoid any freezing issues. Once you complete a game you can log back nto your profile and save and then immediately log back out of your profile before exiting your game.

For some dumb reason today after over 100 games of my player, every time I go to play next game, my game freezes. I've tried deleting all the NBA 2k11 files except for my player, and it still freezes....

bigpat7676, correct me if I'm doing this wrong, but I start up 2K11, and before I press start on the main screen, I log out of my profile, then once I'm on the quick game screen, I log back in. Next, I load up my player, log OUT of my profile again, and then click on play next game. My game still freezes. Am I reading what you did correctly?

I always's use up to date rosters so what I do is I go into the Xbox memory and delete NBA Today and then it doesn't freeze on loading file. That usually works but If not I delete my Rosters and that definitely works

Wow, what made this crap start happening? I hadn't played 2k in awhile and load it up with the new download and now I can't start an assosciation without doing this all the time? Some BS.

regardless of what game mode im in, if i attempt to change the controller settings the game freezes


I only need to change it to absolute 1 time...but i cant ever get to the screen

Trevelyan ---u are correct. If you are still getting freezing I would suggest after you load your my player to go into delete files and delete your my player and then re-save uncer a totally different file. Then proceed to load the new my player file and follow my steps again.

How/Where exactly do you log out of your 2K11 profile? I went into the settings to stop the user profile from auto-loading, but, after a restart, the game auto-loaded it anyway on start-up.

how? there seem to be a few of us who can't figure out all your instructions from the first post. Can you please just give a step by step dumbed down version of what to do start to finish? I cant seem to get this to work and its killing my association to have to reset my PS3 every time.

He's referring to your PSN or Xbox Live profile.
