I think it would be cool if in free agency players ask for contracts similar players of their talent level have like for example Jason Richardson sees that Vince Carter has signed a 4 YR 44 Million Dollar Extension he should say I put up similar numbers so I want around that much. And things like the market your in, coaching staff, how many stars are on your team, and your record should play a factor in FA I've seen Carmelo sign with the pacers too many timesMilwaukee Bucks Dynasty:

It would also be nice if your star players asked you to trade for certain players for example Amar'e asks for another big center or 2 Guard that can shoot threes real well. I remember in like NBA 2K5 if you made some moves or something players would come visit you in your office and you could say stuff to boost their moraleMilwaukee Bucks Dynasty:

Re: Things that 2k Association mode can add
I like a few of those (almost all of Juke's). But many are unrealistic.
I never really understood why changing the price of peanuts= depth. It seems like surface to me.
I think an untapped market is the RPG sports gaming market. And, what I wish for is that they develop a separate game that taps into this market and focus on the actual on-court action with NBA 2K.
It's a sports game, and your love of the sport should be enough if the sport is accurately represented. Bells, whistles, gimmicks, climbing boring ladders doesn't really interest me.
For instance, why do you need a "hot seat" in the game? Put the coach on the "hot seat" in your brain and fire him in a week. Plus if you read the headlines, coaches are put on the "hot seat". Etc. Etc.
No disrespect intended. I'm being selfish.Last edited by greenieblue; 12-22-2010, 01:49 PM.Originally posted by Fabian Avenarius Lloyd[...] a man of subtlety or refinement is almost always nothing but an idiot.Comment

Wow, great list op !
inever really realised how much association could be expanded. For people who invest a lot of time in their dynasty this sort of diversification would be a godsend.
not all poeple would want to use thos features but i'm sure there would just be a simulation option that skips through, like there is for everything else.

Re: Things that 2k Association mode can add
All I ever play is Association, I'm not saying that.
I'm just saying some people want Final Fantasy 2K12.
The Association Mode is so deep right now, but a lot of people have a superficial idea of depth. There are a million ways to increase the depth, but back of the box headlines are not the way. Or you end up with Madden (whose marketing campaign focuses on having coaches call plays for you) or MLB: TC.Originally posted by Fabian Avenarius Lloyd[...] a man of subtlety or refinement is almost always nothing but an idiot.Comment

Add draft combine so we can test out on who we draft by looking at how they play or we use them. Add summer circuit so we can test our draft picks or potential people/ 2-3 years pro dudesChicago Bulls 1996

Re: Things that 2k Association mode can add
Greenieblue is right, the op had good ideas but a lot of the stuff like fixing prices for peanuts is useless and just copied from madden. The stuff like that does not affect the game so it should not be put in the game. If that was to be implemented in 2k12 they should add generating money from your arena to use on players and upgrades to the arena that you could see when you were playing.Comment

Re: Things that 2k Association mode can add
- Integral translation of main mode roster edits (like rotation/roles ...) at least when 30 team control is selected
- Fully customization of team status (contender-rebuilding ...)
- Fully implementation of NBA Today features
- Expanded NBA Today dynamic feature, which recognize events from 1 season to the other ... comments on who last season MVP was; recent marquee FA signings (80+ overall); conference champions; current Champion; 1st pick in draft; trades made
- Coaches/assistants promotion/demotion/trade
- Multi team trades propposals from and within the AI (currently only happens when HUM is the one who proppose it, if not is standard 1to1 trades)
- Adition of at least 2 more slots in the trading assets and 1 more slot in the teams involved
- Expanded rumor trade mill
- Implementation of all my player features (suggestions of adcquisitions from the star players, press conferences, chemestry problems/fixes derivated from actions and comments)
- Implementation of TPEs
- Ability to send cash within trades
- Fully customization of NBDL (player names, rosters, payrolls)
- Goals to improve the likehood of a FA signing with your teamLast edited by ffaacc03; 12-25-2010, 02:20 PM.Comment

Now thats a chicken or the egg situation, is it that its done intentionaly or is it that a 1 year developement cycle is too short?Comment
