I never play Association because I can't control 5 players on the court by myself, really. I will try this "mode" with Rudy Gay(Memphis) or Ty Lawson(Denver).

you should try it I before myplayer i would play association with all five players.

After getting used to playing as only 1 player it's hard to go back to controlling all players because you got to memorize everybody shooting.

I'm having a blast playing as McGee.

I'm in my 3rd year now with the wizards just won the championship with the wizards starting 5

2nd game of the year 3 when i went to foul line late in game they started chanting MVP.

Last year i went 3rd team all nba and 2nd team defense.

I'm improve upon those numbers if i don't get hurt i probably can win DPOY. maybe MVP.

Just smashed the Knicks by 30. score was 102-72

need a better script instead of replacing the one they have add a whole new script so where the same lines are not repeated every game all game. also need to be more indepth .

now days i turn off commentary stale and boring. i only turn it on when i'm playing an elite team/player

If i'm playing player lock/myplayer or chise i wouldn't mind hearing more about the battle of between team stars or the player i'm using.

If i'm dominating the league with double doubles like kevin love with McGee i want to hear them talk about it like they did in real life.

How do you get your team to move the ball around?
I play point but sometimes I move to the 2 guard and let Baron play point and he just brings it down then jacks up a 3 and if im playing point I pass it once then someone just jacks up a terrible shot

just go to controller setup in the settings wether in game or out of game.

its right where you go to view the controller layout or advance controls.

pick position you want to lock it's at top of menu screen on controller setup.

adjust sliders or tendencies decrease the 3pt shooting on everybody. take it off auto play calling players move around better.

I'm still playing Player Lock mode and I'm still loving it. I have set everything in the Association to CPU controlled (trades, player roles, contracts etc.) and I have ended up having my player traded to Boston from the Wizards. Current lineup is Rondo, Myself, Pierce, Garnett and Shaquille. Played two games with the C's so far and dropped 24 in the first game against the Hawks and had a nice double-double against the 76ers (16 points and 10 assists.)

I want to do this player lock association mode. I normally use mkharsh's All Star FG% slider but for this mode I want to have full control of my shot ability.

So can anyone recommend me a good Shot Stick slider for this game mode?

I am hearing if I want my AI teammates to have decent performance I need to go with pro difficulty slider... also can somebody confirm this? Thanks!

Will your teammates take open jumpshots on their own? Or do they just look to pass and drive?

I am using Armor & Swords slider settings and my teammates will take open shots. But our FG% is really low for both teams when I play a game. We are both usually in the 30% range and scores are between 70-90 points each.

What slider settings are you guys using for your player lock association?

I'm thinking about doing this since MyPlayer mode gets stale and far to easy to dominate. I was thinking of making a 6'10 Small Forward. I think I'd make him about a 67-70 overall. Should I leave the potential around 87ish or so and develop through practice/drills and stuff? I don't want that super easy boost like in MyPlayer mode how within 1 season I'm league MVP, DPOY, win a championship, and Finals MVP.

What do you guys do, potential and camps, practice/drills, or just a mix of both?

I'm using the NBA on TNT sliders right now. They are pretty good.

I have recently given up on video football and gone over to FPS and 2K bball. I too use player lock though I don't go so deep as to lock on a specific player. Mine is more of a position lock (PG). It's still tons of fun. Especially having everything on auto and executing the plays that the coach calls.

any recommendations on who to use? I like to be a lanky SF, that isn't too good, and fairly young. on 2k9 i used KD and Rudy Gay before they were stars and I had a blast
