Too little too late on that appology...

Its pretty easy to say, "my bad" now, that your having success. If he felt that way, and honestly believed he couldn't win here, why didn't he say that from the begining...

Something like this would have gone a long way in the eyes of Cleveland fans... Not saying we wouldn't still hate that he left, but at least, we might not have felt betrayed...

LeBron: "To all the Cleveland fans, and the Cavs organization. I feel like we've had a great here the past 7 years. I will always cherrish the good times we've had over the past 7 years. But for me, and my career, I feel like the opportunity to play alongside a player like DWade is a once in a lifetime opportunity that I simply can not pass up"

Thats all some fans wanted... No "decision" on TV, none of that crap, just sack up, be a man, and face the music. The way everything was handled was truly classless imo and thats the main reason for everyones feelings.

I and many others I'm sure, do not accept this half harted, day late and a dollar short attempt at an appology.

I don't think anything would have went a long way with Cleveland fans or people like you regardless when or if he said it. It wouldn't have went any different without the decision, the same distaste would have came from the fans. Some people need to grow the hell up. Sorry your feelings were hurt because he didn't want to play in a city like Cleveland where the second best player is Mo Williams who has a hard time cracking the clippers starting lineup... It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know this from the beginning-it should have been obvious and he shouldn't have to say anything about it especially after that joke Gilbert talked from his ***.

That guy spent 7 years there carrying the team on his back, a team that is horrible, beyond horrible! And maybe that's why there's so much hate because now it's evident Lebron is all Cleveland had (they could have landed a FA still - Oh wait, because Lebron isn't there no way anyone will goto Cleveland). I mean afterall, you having a winning team up there still to root on in the Cleveland Indians yet no one shows up and they rank dead last in attendance at 14K...... It's time to just get over it by now because it's beyond ridiculous how many cryers and haters there are because someone made a decision that 100% of people (excluded dummies in this count) would make if it was their personal decision.

Well I hear all the talk of leaving Cleveland in suspense and such, but I knew he wasn't resigning there a year before as soon as the free agent hype began. There was zero chance he was staying in Cleveland.

The time has come for ONLINE ASSOCIATION MODE

This is long overdue and EA's Online Dynasty in NCAA and Online Franchise in Madden are very popular and have stolen 2ks light in the online features department.

I've said this many time before. I believe Association mode is currently the best overall when choosing between NCAA, Madden and NBA2k (or Elite). But the simple fact that it is NOT online is a major impediment.

We should be able to easily see your ONLINE Assoc thru the corresponding websites (like Online Leagues currently).....I'm dieing for the day I can start an ONLINE Assoc with all 30 coaches filled in, draft, and run my team (Cs!! lol) for multiple seasons until the following version of the game is released. The days of the current 1-and-done season online lgs are the way of the dinosaurs.

ONLINE ASSOCIATION MODE is a MUST for 2k12

Not playing any card, I'm just wondering why 2 seasons of Favre being egocentric and classless didn't result in national vitriol and him getting booed around the league.

Again, I'm not offering any reasons, I really do wonder why?

LBJ and Bosh were both signed and traded for a miriad of draft picks, but they are NOT max players. They all had to take slightly less money in order to fit under the cap, with Wade actually giving up the most between the 3.

115 vs 120... BIG sacrifice haha...

What a JOKE that WADE took less money of the Three... Cleary "HE" is about winning, the other two, I'm still not sure...

Well, I personally think they could've done much better than Bosh, who seems to suffer from Russell Westbrook syndrome .

And considering that Lebron won MVP in 2 consecutive years, I'd most definitely agree that Lebron was the Cavs. Dan Gilbert's statements and Cleveland's actions (burning his jersey, etc) made me lose any pity I felt for them.

I'm a native of Baltimore, a city whose team literally up and left in the middle of the night, AND took with them all of our achievements under the Colts name, leaving us without a team. I mean, we did get your Browns team some time later, but atleast we let you keep your history lol .

Back on this off-topic though, I can say Lebron did what he felt was best for his career. What was he suppose to do? Did you want/expect him to stay with his team for 10 years through all of his prime, and still not get that coveted ring? Lebron already had an idea how that would end from Allen Iverson, and I'm sure he didn't want a similar fate.

I don't pity the Cavs because they didn't get LeBron true help. They should have tried harder to land Amare but didn't want to add in JJ Hickson? Really? They had a bag of balls to support James.

Both sides suck as LeBron obviously played out the whole situation too long but the Cavs reacted like babies.

As for your association mode good luck. I'd personally never ever be Miami. And I don't like trading untouchable players but that's just me. Well I do sometimes but try to avoid it.

                      For the record:
                      LeBron and "nobodies" - 2008-09: 66-16, 1st in NBA
                      LeBron and "nobodies" - 2009-10: 61-21, 1st in NBA

                      LeBron and 2 other stars - 2010-11: 58-24, 3rd in NBA

                      ????

Cavs would have obviously fared much better this season if it weren't for so many crucial injuries

                        Couple things...

                        1) I agree LeBron, as a FA had every right to leave. Its just hard and frustrating to listen to people that wont give the Cavs their respect. To say that those 2 teams COULD NOT win a Championship is wrong. They were THE BEST team in the league for 2 years, and the "nobodies" that everyone talks about were a big reason why. I don't want to "blame" LeBron, and I don't want to "blame" the "nobodies" but for whatever reason, it just didn't happen for us.

                        2) Watching the Browns leave Cleveland was one of the worst moments in my life so far. I'm 28yr old now, I was 12 when the Browns left, and although I didn't fully understand why back then, I was still very upset. The thing that gets me, is the fact that Baltimore, a City and a fan base that had their team ripped from them, openly accepted another cities team? Talk about classless...

                        3) Using AI as an example is legit. Same thing with KG in Minny. Those guys were extremely loyal through their careers to those teams, but just couldn't get it done. Like I said, for LeBron, its on him to decide whats more important, "loyalty" (which he has inked on his body) or taking a backseat to Wade in pursuit of a Championship.

                        4) After going back and forth on this for a while, I will agree, being the Owner of a Team, Dan Gilbert shouldn't have sent those messages that he did. Although I FREAKING LOVE his passion, as the Owner, and now the Face of the Franchise, there really is nothing good that can come from that. I think his emails and smack talk about LeBron will make it even harder to get FA here.

Give it a few years, and the team will be much better than they are right now. There's a good amount of talent in the 2 upcoming draft classes.

As for your football team, I'm sure they'll garner some more respect this season with Peyton Hillis receiving all this newfound love (Madden cover). We'll see how Colt McCoy leads you guys this year.

As for us accepting another city's football team, we went 12-13 years without a team, as the Colts, along with all history of the Colts, were gone. We're still waiting for a basketball team lol, any takers?
