The EA Sports contracts for D Wade, Melo, Griffin and Durantula probably haven't expired yet even though Durant's game was never released so you can count them out of any cover convo for 2K Sports at the moment... I think KG was the first to appear on a Live and a 2K but thats because his EA contract expired if I'm not mistaken...the front runner IMO is already contracted by 2K Sports and that Derrick Rose... he was the "cover athlete" for NBA 2K10 Draft Combine and was featured prominently in the 2K11 commercials... another who would stand a shot at getting on the cover from that group this year would be Rajon Rondo... I think Dirk stands a good chance at getting the cover internationally or even for the US version of the game... Dirk is beyond just an international player... plus Chris Paul was a 2K cover athlete before his career really took off so a player like that (think Russell Westbrook) could be an option

Am I the only one who thinks Rose won't get it since they already have a Chicago Bulls player on the cover in MJ?

My best bet is Dirk, Durant, Lebron or Amare.

I don't think Blake Griffen or John Wall will get it. They are great players, sure, but their teams didn't go anywhere in the off-season. I think the cover will go to a star player from one of the final 4 teams.

After all the heat Westbrook got after the playoffs, he'll never get the cover. Marc Gasol isn't enough of a star to get it, and Randolph still is a big mouth and his team didn't go far.

cant be rose, he was on 2k10 draft combine. cant be KD, he was on elite 11 and will prob be on elite 12. Lebron will not sign the contract to do it with anyone, so his name can go away. Griffin was on NCAA 10, so he cant (EA title)
