Well guys your going to have to really pray because I don't think we are going to get "full rosters". I would be more worried about getting the main rotation of teams. What I'm really saying is top 8 or 9 players would be fine with me. The Bulls might have been missing Brian Williams. But I wouldn't notice lol.

With the Kings team I hope they get Webber, Divac, Bobby Jackson, and Doug Christie. Everyone else is either a current player* or someone I don't really care for.

Chucky Brown, Mateen Cleaves, Scot Pollard, Lawrence Funderburke, Brent Price and Jabari Smith. (Maybe Lawrence Funder Burke and Scot Pollard I might miss. Because they were part of the bench mob and got solid minutes). Is it going to stop me from playing or buying this roster. #Helltotheno

I would love to play with the MVP Allen Iverson though. Just playing with him in the qp's 2001-02 rosters is lovely.

Hopefully we'll be able to recreate the 2001 Playoffs and have the right team win the championship.

Yeah, Shawn was pigeon-toed. He definitely had a distinct drop step when in the paint due to that. And when he launched for dunks his shoes angled at one another gave him his own flare.

SimBaller rattled off a list of about 8-10 guys when he was specifying which Kings team would be included ('02, not '01 as originally reported) and of those 10, Funderburke was included. But he may have been reeling off names just to clarify which team was being used, not necessarily referring to who 2K was able to include.

Yea I think he was rattling names of players on the roster that year.

Na.... Read his post again. He mentions the guys in context to who was on the Kings that year. Not thay they will be in the game.

Re: Can MORE Classic Teams be far behind?

Yeah it surely seems he didn't say anything definite. But it does seem like it could be open to interpretation just because he used the phrase "gets you"

It's ACTUALLY the 2001-02 Kings team, not the 2000-01 team. This gets you Webber, Divac, Bibby, Peja, Hedo, Bobby Jackson, Doug Christie, G-Force, Scot Pollard, and...Funderburke if my memory serves me correctly.
I don't think it's out of the question to believe he was saying "pre-order and these are the guys you're going to get on the '02 Kings". But as you and I said, it's a vague statement either way. I guess we'll just have to wait and dissect very limited pieces of information in the meantime, eh?

Was just about to post that lol

But I will say that I think he means that who is on the roster. Not exactly who is in the game.

                          please let this be true.
That means I wont have to do the gargantuan task of creating my superleague roster again.
All I will have to do is tweak!!

You'll still be making that roster lol. They won't be releasing every single team from each year. Just select ones. What I hope is that they attached or default that years jersey to the team. Everytime I play with old school rosters. I always forget to change the rosters. Playing with old Iverson in new Sixers jersey in not welcomed lol

Yeah and it's sort of wishlisty and it's been said before, but I'm also hoping more retros are included. I feel sort of greedy because I remember a time where I just wanted some retros (2K had so little compared to EA) but I still can't help but hope for all those jerseys we're missing, whether it be the popluar sun blast unis or maybe some accurate "Iverson Rookie" duds.

Some more 2K information should be due out pretty soon here, yes? I think it was around this time last year the Jordan Challenge information was unveiled. 7/22/10 was the Jordan Challenge insight and 7/30/10 was the enhanced control insight (a Thursday and a Friday, respectively). And looking back, I can't recall if those were actually called "insights" or just random updates of info. Either way.
