Re: NBA 2K12 Developer Insight #1 - Marketing/Community Efforts with New Screenshots
Finally someone who understands me.
As for the rest of what you've wrote, it's a matter of opinion. I'd love to have the 1993 Suns. I actually remember seeing Dumas back in the early 90's before returning to the NBA. The guy was one of the most athletic players in Euro basketball back then and he won a couple of local dunk contests. Too bad he couldn't say no to some things...
Back on topic, 2k12 pics look great!!! Keep em comingComment

You go on to mention 7 footers who don't rebound like Barkley. Being taller has never automatically made someone a great rebounder, so I won't deny Barkley being great in that department. However, he admitted himself that he was not a great defender, and that is currently what holds a lot of players (Chuck included) back from being in that top tier category for legends IMO.
It is his personality on TV alone that has made me not care for him altogether.Comment

I want to see Barkley and the 93 Suns included as much as anyone, and have made my opinion about this known since 2k11 announced the Jordan mode.
But it doesn't matter if Barkley was #1 on the facebook vote if he didn't agree to have his rights included, as was the rumor last year.Comment

Nice screens, but the legs are still too short and thick. I also hope every jersey aren't those over-sized jerseys as some players wear more form fitting jerseys like Dwight Howard and LeBron James for example.Comment

2K unless you put something in nba 2k12 that revolutionizes nba video games your sales will be seriously hurt by an nba lockout. Physics, real physics minus canned animations would help your sales stay up. Gimmicks, such as allowing you to control a player from the past won't be as effective in maintaining your sale numbers. But if you do want to rely on gimmicks. Put PG Jason Williams in the game. No one in the history of the nba had his streetball/nba skills. I bought nba 2k11 but probably won't buy 2k12 if there is a lockout. Unless you put j-will in the game. I think it would be a lot of fun making behind the back passes, elbow passes, insane dribble moves, half court alley oops, half court bounce passes. You get the idea. It's gonna be a tough year unless you can wow gamers with nba 2k12.Last edited by sky454; 08-12-2011, 08:40 PM.Comment

iknow this is late but maybe we can add this is the following years games, be aware this has nothing to do with what is above so dont judge me , just trying to get the word out there
MY PLAYER: what if they added something similar to what ncaa 12 has, but the difference is you start off from college and get to play with actual college teams . You can choose your team to play for however you will be a 80 rating this is going into your senior season . Dont worry the skill points add up very fast and you would start off with some . maybe 10,000 or even more .
The difference with tyhis is you get to choose the games that you would like to play in this would help because you wouldnt have to play the games that you know yu will win, you would already be a elite player in college so dont worry about being bad .
there will also be a draft tracker or maybe even if a show to that shows the top prospects and where they may go . say if you was doing really well your potential rating would go up , this is how good you will be when you make it to the nba , how your rating would be . This would benefit a lot of player but you CANNOT GO PAST THE 70 overall level . in the first season you cannot upgrade more than 5 points , otherwise you will be 99 so fast you wont no it
there will also be a legend rating, say if you win the ncaa championship it will go down on your resume and boost skill points and give you more lgend rating . so when you retire if you have over a 80 legend rating you are in the running for the HOF.
lets move on to pre draft , ibelieve you shouldnt have to play so many games before you go to the league, you should be able to train with specific teams that are interested with you. after that you will play with the top player out of college maybe two games not 4 .
the draft should be conducted like tv ( idont have any ideas here so maybe someone else can give me pointers .Comment
