What insight? There is no offline association insight. They did an online association insight, and they talked nothing about adding or fixing anything to the mode. Basically all they ran down was how they added online association and how excited they are for it.

Let them be excited, more power to them and the online players who are excited, but IF they didn't fix any of the bugs or problems, both online and offline guys are going to playing with them. So why they're bickering amongst each other and not trying to figure out if the problems were fixed is beyond me.

I have to agree with apollo. I'm 26 and grew up watching many of the legends this game will include. However, it didn't influence my purchase at all. I really don't care about the legends on 2K. The only reason I buy this game (or any sports game for that matter) is for offline Dynasty/Franchise/Association.

Did you notice how IGN probably didn't sim a few years into association mode to see if all the problems were fixed?

And spoiled American Teenagers? I beg to differ, i'm 23 years old, I just want to play a franchise mode that doesn't have mode killing bugs.

CPU teams not trading at all after about the third year, morale being screwy because sixth men and role players thought they deserved playing time when they cleary didnt.

No progression... Then too much progression

Superstars being stuck in the FA pool for years at a time.

The list goes on and on, but hey, if you don't want a real NBA experience more power to you

Association is very good but it's getting stale. We need Summer League and Training Camp intergration along with a proper Coach Pool.

And a fix of all the issues that were in 2k11s.

This man post the truth. I don't think some people understand how many problems there were in association. Gosens6 named a few but there are more and if not fixed will affect online association also. You should have listed how players hardly ever sit out when injured then their stats drop significantly because they are trying to play with a sprain wrist lol.

Or maybe how win/loss records are so inconsistent. To many teams records around 500 so you wont have no 55 to 60 win teams consistently. Someone posted they simmed 2 seasons and one of the seasons the nuggets won the championship. Or maybe how when you turn off trades the rumor mill still have trade rumors. Or maybe how if you set rotation minutes but when you start association all minutes get reset. I was just throwing some of our concerns out there.

I just don't want the same thing that happened last year, to happen this year.

Start up an association, everything looks great the first year, CPU making realistic trades that make sense, stats are in line, things look fine.

But then you check team W-L records and the home/away wins and losses are major screwy, most playoff series went to game 7's

6th men and role players were upset because they didn't get "significant" playing time. It was impossible to have a Lamar Odom or Jason Terry on your team do to them wanting start minutes. You would eventually have to turn off the player roles feature to get it working correctly, but of course, that screwed up progression, so players would just sky rocket up.

You get to the second season, things are okay, you notice only 4 trades happen during the season, rare, but okay maybe it was just one of those one time things.

Simming through the season, the same problems with W-L records, stats and morale(or lack thereof are still present).

Offseason roles around, then next season begins, you see big names still sitting in the FA pool. You think to yourself, okay, they'll get picked up, but to no avail they don't, they sit there, and they stay sitting there the entire time.

Then, you sim past the trade deadline, 0 trades made by the CPU, 0! It would stay like this until you got the random year where maybe 2 trades were made.

I'm sure there are more things i'm missing, myself and others did EXTENSIVE testing on all of this to try to come up with a fix, and we got NOTHING. I don't want to have to do that again this year, I want it fixed!

you sim 3 or 4 years down the road and say somethin is broken... when year 1-2 is on point

but hey, we all ike the game for different reasons

but the complaining is stupid... the game is already packaged man

make a 2k13 wishlist or somethin and get your ideas to um early...
