In today's episode of "What Ridiculous Trade Can the AI Come Up With?", The Golden State Warriors decided to trade Stephen Curry and Monta Ellis to the Los Angeles Clippers for Mo Williams and Blake Griffin. Unbelievable. Ignoring the fact this would never happen, The Warriors decided to trade basically their whole offense, and the Clippers tried to trade the best player they have had in a while, if not ever. Luckily, I had a back-up save which I loaded because i am a pass first pg and can only throw so many alley-oops to Blake Griffin, and also Monta Ellis is amazing. I really hope they can fix this trade logic, because it is ridiculous.

Start of 2nd season with the bobcats, 15.1 mil of cap space, sign free agent Chris Paul. Relegates me to starting SG. Argh... all good. Just have to adapt. Already my Reb and Assist avg's are up. What level does your 'league wide pop' have to be to get the 'signature shoes'?? mine is @ 71 atm.
Oh yeh, love raining down the 3's. Dropped 16 (3's) in one game... What's the most anyone else has dropped?Comment

Does anyone know where to find my players hot spots, if they exist? I searched for a thread but can't find one.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
Are you guys playing with playcalling on or off?
I just turned it off about 40 games into my rookie season as a SG for the Wizards. I like the fact that I'm not being forced to set picks in the paint any more. But the offense feels a little stale. Our offense mostly consist of guys either standing around or guys just running into each other. Starting to think the best way to play is as a PG with playcalling off. That way when the offense goes flat you can just manually call a play.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
To all these guys balling like crazy, I wonder what difficulty they're on. On Pro/Sim I couldn't lose, was breaking records for assists and would average 25 trying not to score. One level up and the computer hits everything, my team misses WIDE OPEN looks I give them, and I have to do everything and it still isn't enough. I'd make a highlight reel of all looks that my guys miss and the impossible shots they make in one game alone, but there's limited space unfortunately. I beat the Clippers by 26 and 20. I up the difficulty one and I get blown out by 20 at home. All of a sudden my guys are inept and can't play. SMH
By the way, playing the "guess my team" game through 57 games:
Marcus Thorton
Tyreke Evans
Me
Jermaine O'Neal
DeMarcus Cousins
Francisco Garcia
Andres Nocioni
Marreese Speights
Jason Thompson
Troy Murphy
Eugene Jeter
Hassan Whiteside
Donte Greene
SpoilerThe Kings. We only made 2 small trades.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
Made an all around SG, got drafted to the wizards. Only got about 6 minutes of play time total but I hit a jumper and got a 3 point play on a fast break. Loving it.

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
Need some help and a question for everyone.
What do you think is the best play style for a PG, because I've been having a hard time settling on a style. I played all the other positions, but I keep being drawn back to PG. Love distributing the ball. I keep coming back to the athletic play style because of the speed.
Another thing: Has anyone been drafted by a team that didn't interview you? I was a SG and got interview by Detroit, Sacramento and Tornoto but got drafted by the Wizards.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
RE Draft: yes, I once told Indiana, Pheonix and Detroit that I did not want to play for their teams (wanted to see if I would fall in the draft or what would happen) I was slated to be picked by Phoenix in the mock-draft, but was actually picked up by New York.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
Each person is different, but I found the "Shooting" play-style fits me the best. Even if I play a "Pass-First" style during the game, the "shooting" style has my PG responding the way I expect him to. Whenever I try to play an "Athletic" PG I always push myself on the shot attempts, so it is not good for me.
I didn't do that with the scenario that I talked about. I was interested (well, maybe not Detroit) in the teams. I did this as well, though. I told Charlotte, Detroit and Washington that I wasn't interested in them and got drafted by Phoenix.Comment
