Has anyone else gone with a slashing shooting guard. I found it really fun because you have to work so hard for your points rather than walk up the court and jack a three.
Anyway it was going great, got drafted by denver and am going to stay because trading is un-realistic for a rookie.
My team is in the playoff semifinals versus the mavs and our roster is
Point guard- Lawson,A.Miller,Dooling,boykins, Can't remember last guy
Shooting Guards- Me, J.R. Smith, Afllalo, DeRozan
Small forward- Wilson chandler
Power forwards-Glen Davis, Al Harrington
Center- NONE!!!!!
This is so annoying. I end up playing power forward. They traded NENE for DeRozan when we allready have 3 good shooting guards. They even put boykins in at shooting guard. So frustrating how one little thing ruins a whole game.Comment

Won the championship against the Sixers. Second game was a thriller.. I was fouled out with 30 seconds to go. Then Lamar Odom hit a game winning out of this world shot..
Won in 6 games. Then I resigned with the Rockets which consequently signed LeBron James in my team. WOW!!
Chris Bosh also left Miami for Cleveland leaving DWade in Miami.Comment

This mode is unbearable does anyone have good sliders?
Things I hate
1.bumping
2.Magic A.I warp speed on fast break
3. Dumb down team mates.
4.Court spacing.(User only) Cpu seems fine when they have the ball.

i played like 24 games now......but thinking about playing only key games is it worth it......i did it like once and skipped 6 games the sim numbers were not great but not horrible......so is it worth it to play only key gamesComment

i just started few days ago, i made a 6'6 PG all around, was drafted 7th by the kings because i turned down the offer of charlotte and golden state, currently my player have the starting role of point guard after being a back up and a 6th man, now my player is averaging 24.4 ppg, 5apg, 3.3 rpg and 1.7 spg as a starter. the team just traded jj hickson for thadeus young, then marcus thornton and future 2nd rd pick for antwan jamison and ramon sessions. hopefully ill do well in my future games, because our team standing is 11wins and 16loss. LOL

ive got a question has anyone of you guys experienced this? when im playing the game when there are calls of the ref, usually we can see the calls of the referee but in my game after the call it shows different calls, and then after usually shows def 8 seconds. and when they are showing my stats during the game usually the your avereages, the glitch is showing over the back foul on the left side always and my average on the right side, at first i tried to restart my ps3 but after that it usually shows every ****in game. can anyone help me on this, or i just have to delete my save to start a new Mp or the game/cd itself is the problem. thanksComment

i just fixed the glitch on my 2k12, by auto patch while online
anyway i was just selected to my first all star game but as a reserve, just entered for 2 minutes and just scored 6 points and we lost to the east

Hey!
I haven't played 2k12 on my ps3 for a while, and now after new patch i can't hit dam 3point shot with this stat maxed.. Before patch my efficiency was 30-45% and now it's like 15% max.. What the hell is this for? What should i do now? Change my whole tactic and forgot about 3point shots? I somewhat agree, my percentage has also plummeted. Although it seems more "streaky" than before, on a game-to-game basis. One game I will make 20%, the next 55%, while I take the same type of quality shots. It just feels predetermined if you have a crappy game, much like the "scripted" third-quarter runs that just seem to be there so they can have something to talk about in the "Spark of the game" segment.
The only other explanation would be that boosting my vertical stat leads to a different release point (i.e. having to hold the shot stick slightly longer), but this wouldn't explain the "streakiness".
Also, on an unrelated note, they should already fix the stupid stats mistake (my team leads the NBA with 64 apg etc.), where totally screwed up stats are shown. How does this mistake ever make it into the finished product?!Comment

Alright ive read 86 pages of this haha. I noticed everyone having difficulty with the trades and saw a couple solutions so I decided to create my own with the help of the aforementioned solutions.
First and most important thing:
-Everyone with 75 OVR or higher got a no trade clause. This generally included the nucleous of each team(EX: LBJ, Wade, Bosh). The exceptions I left out were Nash obviously and Howard obviously. They are both still on their respective teams and I am in season 2.
Secondly, this is what I think saved my MyPlayer from utter chaos.
-Everyone 23 or younger with an OVR above 60 but below 75 with 2 or more years left on their contract got a no trade clause. This was so young players like James Harden or Demarcus Cousins who's OVR wasnt 75 stayed with their teams until their rookie contracts were up. This encompassed pretty much everyone from last years draft that wasnt John Wall stayed put.
This left only veteran role players and draft picks to be traded amongst the teams. Then I had to throw in another wrinkle to make it fair to the superstar vets.
-All 90 OVR got Player options(similar to Kobe's contract). Now they can opt out of the last year of their contracts.
Also made all 85-90 players to stars. I didnt alter anything else in their contracts but players like Dirk and Tony Parker who are obviously stars that didnt have them, I added it in. They honestly dont make anymore amazing shots than they normally would so it was just for piece of mind.
Thats all I did and its worked flawlessly. I just played the Nets who had the exact same lineup as the 2009-2010 Nets with rookies on the bench and a couple new role players in exchange for old ones. DWill and Brook Lopez were still kicking my ***.
