Has anyone started in the NBA All-Star game yet? I'm in my 2nd year, I have over 4 million votes more than the Guard with the 2nd most votes, and they still made me come off the bench in the game, plus, when they show the list of all-stars from the NBA.com menu, they have me & Kobe starting, Russell Westbrook as the lead Guard reserve, but in the actual game, the make Chris Paul start. Is it because he has more years in the league than we do? Idk.

Drafted #13 overall by PHX(I bad-mouthed the GSW & whatever other team intervied me lol smh)

Anyway, so far, over 11 games, my averages are 24.2MPG 6.6PPG 2.7RPG 5.6APG 3.5SPG 0.7BPG. Our record is 5-6, I'm hopeful with our team, because we blow out some great teams at home, but are shakey on the road. I'm hoping as My Player improves, I can help us win more often, as I can only do but so much with a 64 overall rating at the moment.

Update: Breaking News, 15th game of the season(& I played em all), I am starting over Steve Nash. Don't know why, and I really don't care why. I know he's not injured. I'm a great PG none the less, not to mention I'm the top thief in the league(3.7SPG), so the more I play the better.

UPDATE: Ok so, they traded Steve Nash and Jared Dudley for Zach Randolph, Josh Childress for Wes Matthews, Grant Hill for Carl Landry, Aaron Brooks & Robin Lopez for D.J. Augustine & D.J. White, and lastly(because it's past the trade deadline) Louis Williams & Darius Songaila for Marcin Gortat. The team is currently 14-42(worst record in the league). I made the All-Star team, but not the Rook vs Soph game I guess, cuz it simulated straight to the All-Star game, where I was a the top reserve for the West, John Wall was for the East. Just want to point out 2 things. Coach was was fired after our last game prior to the All-Star break, and after the break, I am now back to 12, well 16 minutes on the rotation chart. I don't know what the cause of it was, whether the coaching change or me being a reserve in the All-Star game, and the game maybe keeping the minimized all-star reserve minutes o was assigned going. But anyways, I'm dealin with it, minutes are slowly increasing like in the beginning of the season. I still lead the league in assists and steals(12.3 & 5.5), and also, I lead all PGs in blocks with 1.2(would lead all Gs if not for Wes Johnson's 1.3bpg). Even after all the changes in my teAms lineup, I am happy with my PHX team. Although, after my rookie contract is up I plan on leaving PHX, and taking my talents to the NYK cuz they're my hometown team, and Chauncey will have nothing to say about it.

UPDATE: Ok, now in my 2nd year with PHX, just finished beating the GSW by 2(I hit the game winning layup ). Anyway, we are one game past the all-star break, and we are currently in 7th place in the western conference with a 28-29 record. Muuuch better than last year, though I'd say we're a worse team(so does our team overall rating), but my MP is much better this year, currently 98 overall rating, averaging 30ppg, 5rpg, 14apg, 10spg & 1bpg.

Trades this season go as follows: We traded Lou Williams & D.J. White for Melvin Petterson & Kyle Korver, Carl Landry & Wes Matthews for Trevor Ariza & Marco Belinelli, D.J. Augustin & Jacob Matthews for Nicolas Batum & Luke Babbitt, Allen Hardaway for Terrico White, and lastly, Zach Randolph for Ramon Sessions.

The trades left us with a smaller team. Most of the time we get killed on the off. rebounds. Though on paper, we seem like a early vacation team, I'm pushing us as far as we can go to the best of my abilities. As I said before, we are in the 7th seed right now, and since there are no injuries in my MP mode for whatever reason, I feel that my PHX team is a guaranteed playoff team, though I don't think we'll go very far, but we'll see what happens.

Update: So we made the playoffs, finished the regular season at the 5th spot in the western conference.I won MVP, defensive player of the year, and most improved. We are currently up 2-1 in the 1st round in the playoffs battling the Spurs. I'm actually in the 4th qtr of game 4 right now.


Update: So, we beat the Spurs in 5 games, lost to OKC next round in game 7. OKC went on to win the championship. I requested to be traded to the NYK, but they traded me to PHI instead. It's all good thoo, they/we have a good team. PHI traded Jrue Holiday and some rookie for me, and me only. Which is good, because I'm kind of a big deal for a guy with this small contract. My pos. & ovr. rank are both at 1, status says -- for wutever reason, but I'm the best talent in the league comin in into 3rd yr. Oh yea, let me preview my current PHI roster.

Startin lineup:1 Nate Ryan(me), 2 Iggy, 3 Danny Granger, 4 M. Gortat, & 5 Speights
Key reserves: E. Turner & S. Hawes, they drafted a #1 ovr pick last year, but I can't vouch for him, tho his ovr rating is currently 79.

Anyways, I'm get to play a game with this team, hope all goes well. I will still try to get to the NYK over time, hoping they don't trade me for Stat or Melo. Looks like I'll have to wait for my contract to be up.

Hey guys I'm waiting until christmas to get this game, but I had a quick question about the trade issues. Is it the same or worse than the trading in nba 2k11's my player? If it's the the same then it won't be too big of a deal for me, but if it's worse then hopefully they can fix it before christmas comes around... thanks in advance!

I wouldnt say its worse. Lack of crisp passing is so frustrating. Jason Kidd is averaging 2 TO a game in my game. There is like a 2 second delay from icon passing to the ball moving. Once you fix the trades and counter all the 3s by playing the 3 point line, its not that bad. Is it better than 2k11? Yes but just barely.

im on my second season as a pg all around with the kings, my standings for now is 10-0, got my first triple double, 43 pts, 16 ast, 10 stls, and im going to win the championship hopefully

Hey Guys! i just started my first my player. He is a 6'7" faceup powerfoward. In the rookie showcase game, i had 15 points, 7 rebound, 1 assist, and 2 steals w/ and A teammate grade!!! An all around game. The three teams i got interviewed by were the Phoenix Suns, Golden State Warriors & Houston Rockets. I answered nicely to the Phoenix Suns and Houston Rockets, but i don't want to play for the warriors. I was so glad that the Rockets interviewed me because that is my home town. they want to move me to SF and i agreed. In the mock draft, they projected me to go 13th to the Suns.

I actually got Drafted 14th overall to the HOUSTON ROCKETS!!!! IM STAYING HOME!!!!!

First thing im going to do is upgrade my mid - range to 80, shot close to 90, shot inside to 75, then defensive low - post to 85. All in that order. I decided that i want to upgrade my shooting first so i can get the ball more from the start and be more productive on offensive.

Its worth it to upgrade your Dribble Pull-Up ability. Super expensive but draining a shot in Lebrons face = PRICELESS. I need another 13k points before my DPU is at Great then its kill time.

I havent played this(Nba 2k) in over a month. Since there will actual rookies in the game by Mid Dec, if there is a my player update/patch, I might start new careers. I can barely even remember my old careers. So, I will create a new one once there is a patch for MP. I will create a PG again, but instead of a SF, I will do a PF. The PG will be similar to the one I created before. The PF I will create will be a 6'10 250 Face-Up PF. But, I will build him to be a all-around PF, With post game and and a mid range shot. With the face-up, I get the good Inside and Close and I get the 70 Med, so I can the mid range up quickly. and I get 60+ 3pt, so I can eventually get it to 80+ in the future. I will work on Mid range 1st then shoot in traffic.

Any solution for the My Player All Star Game Trophy glitch?? I made the All-Star team in my first season and still have not received this trophy. I've played the game several times and the trophy still has not popped up.

i have a good run currently 20 W 0 L, but suddenly they traded away my good players i got from my last season, paul milsap and thadeus young but now suddenly they were traded away to paul george, shane battier xavier henry and future 2014 2nd round pick! thats insane! im starting to have difficult time playing the game...

Same for me, but they have me the trophy on my 2nd season when I made the team again.

Hey what would the ideal play style be for a Center? I think last year athletic was the best because they could dunk easy so I was wondering if that applied?

I don't know what it is about My Player, but it seems that the majority of the CPU possessions eat up the entire shot clock, no matter what team it is. Almost every time down the floor, the shot clock is running down, and the CPU hits a picture perfect jumper while being double- or sometimes triple-teamed. Not star players either. Scrubs! It's frustrating.

I'm playing an MP with a 6'7" 3pt specialist PG. I've tried other positions, but I don't get the ball enough; at least as a PG I handle the ball every time down the floor. He's on the Rockets, and he's basically a one-man team. If I don't score, we don't have a chance to win because no one else can hit a shot. On top of that, about 3/4 of my team are short PG's and combo guards thanks to the silly trades, so I end up playing 2 and 3 often, and occasionally I've even played PF.

Same with me thats what i recently observed almost every time when the ai got the ball and throw 3 bombs at you will just get mad on it.. my MP also is a pg 6'7 all around its much better to handle the ball and make plays with your team mate, anyway how much skill points you allotted in your 3pt skills? i was contemplating with my mp to be upgraded whether to be athletic or 3pt shooter.. tnx
