Can't believe how dumb some of the trades are.

Made a SG, told the 3 teams I didn't want to play for them hoping I'd get picked up by a good team. Got drafted by the Mavs, I was pumped.

Team was dominating with Dirk, 1st in the NBA, ect. They trade him for Paul Pierce, wtf? They also trade off Jason Terry and Butler for Iggy? Then Tyson for Okafor? Straight up traded away the whole starting lineup minus J Kidd. Really?

Still made the Playoffs, but all the stupid trades really take away from what could be an awesome game mode.

I have never played a more rage inducing game than 2k12. I'm in my 3rd season in my player and I've tried time and time again to have fun in this mode, but I'm finding it nigh near impossible to do so.

Everything from last second contested jumpers going in for the CPU everytime, to the CPU PGs blocking my center going up for dunks.

I wish there were sliders in MP so I can tweak things to have fun in this mode. Nothing's more infuriating than having a 90 in layup and missing everything you put up near the basket.

I'll wait until after I'm out of bootcamp to do this so hopefully lockout is over by then and I can play with rookies! If not screw it I'll make one anyways.

I am currently in my 2nd month with my 7'2 Rebounding center. I'm loving it right now everything is going great with the Warriors. I requested a trade to the Celtics, and Knicks because both are good and don't have great centers. So here is my player:

Are you guys who are pretty far into your MPs going to start over once an official roster update is done? I'm 4 years in with a Center and can't decide if I want to or not.

I'm pretty sure I will, just to have the real rookies in there. And hopefully they tweak the trade logic.

This is the first time in 3 or 4 years Ive gotten the NBA game and I really like the game mode but absolutely suck at this game. Have had zero success.

finally got the game!

still waiting for the rookie draft class to be inserted into the game though.

after that, i will start my first career in this year's installment of My Player mode.

hopefully, it's as fun as 2k11...even though, i have heard issues of bad trades and low quality shots taken by your teammate....

i guess i'll have to find a workaround like last year to run a smooth offense....

still going with an all-around PG....always

If you're really planning on playing like a pass first style, then you should definitely increase your ball handling attributes, and passing.

Been chugging along for about 7 games and I just don't know how to contribute, how are you guys getting so good so fast? Started out as an all-around PG, but I've only gotten minutes as a SG even though all my scoring attributes are subpar at best, dunno if I'm just going about this the wrong way or something.

for some reason small pgs have to play shooting guard but just keep going and get your stats up

How do you get the Jordan attribute boost sneakers? Do u have to have a high league wide popularity or something? Also how are u supposed to boost your abilities when they cost 17000 skill points? Is that something you do once u maxed out all your players attributes?
