Just got my first commercial, I'm guessing it happens when you get to 70 rating, because i got a letter from MJ after the game, then when I up'd my atts I and got to 71 I got the commercial. It was okay, they just had me shoot with the wrong damn hand... I shoot with my left hand.

Closed out the Lakers in 6. Sat on the bench while Zack brought us back and they brought me in with about a min, got my third steal as soon as I got on the floor, on a fast break for the other team, where I ripped Kobe while he tried to spin on Crawford, then came down and drained the dagger. I also got my first "Stop Fast Break" teammate bonus earlier in the game. Now it's off to play the winner of Dallas/OKC in the West Finals.

Bad news guys. I was going to put up my roster with the no trade clauses and lowered potential ratings, but I forgot to save. The roster went back to the original one i downloaded. Smh I was even thinking about updating sig shots/layups/dunk packages. I'm not going to lie, I really don't want to lower all the potentials again, but since I have love for OS I will.

I'll just update 10 teams a day with sigs and lower there potential accurately. At this pace you guys should have the roster by Wednesday or Thursday. The lockout might end today saving me some work.

Update on my player. So with the lower potential ratings I only seen 1 trade, which is Tony Parker for Darren Collison. I was contemplating putting a no trade clause on Parker, but I remember hearing something about him being traded in real life so I didn't. Spurs didn't get completly ripped off, Collison is a serviceable, growing starting guard.

My Knicks are 8-6. I'm a 6'3 athletic PG in the 6th man role on Pro/Sim. I'm thinking about upping to AllStar sim because were blowing teams out now. Derrick Williams and Kemba are beasting, no way I'm getting ROY.

No; during court time. Toronto shot over ten 3-pt FGs and hit 75% of them.

Btw, I'm on Pro/Sim difficulty.

Finally had a 2 game win streak and I scored 40 plus points in back to back games. I also got my first A plus in my 17th game. By the way I'm on the Rockets (drafted 9th by the bobcats) and we're 9-7 but some how we're 2nd in the west. Hoping to become an all-star because the week before my 40 pts games I won player of the week.

It's maybe just me but does anybody else think that stuff that would've went down as an assist in 2k11 is no longer in 2k12? I just passed to my center who was up against Rondo somehow and literally 1 second later he's dunked it and I'm not credited with an assist

well bad news folks.....chase chandler is on IR........blew out my mcl in game 17 of my 2nd season....out for 3 months......so frustrating i was really taking over too....its over

Well, how things come full circle. Suns against rival Mavs, we split the head to head games in the regular season, and had the same overall record when the season ended. The Mavs get the top seed over us. Now we see them in the Western Conference Finals, game six we are down 3-2. We win at home (every game of this series was won by the home team) and now it all comes down to game 7 in Dallas for a chance to go to the finals and get slaughtered by the Heat. (has the heat won everyone's first year championship?) J Kidd and Dirk versus RH3 and Z-Bo, old vets versus young gunners, let's get it on!

7 foot 2, 295 pounds Center drafted to the Milwaukee Bucks. Currently overall 61, he was originally a back to back player but I'm going to focus every single skill point and max out all defensive attributes. Unfortunately the cap for on-ball defense is 55 which is horrible >_< I plan on saving all my money to do the training camps, gonna do some Bill Russell first. My first game against San Antonio was terrible, he was missing everything and shot only 20%. Hoping he improves as time flies by.

After I max out 3pt for my SF using drills, I will boost speed using drills. My Player is too slow at 64 speed. Once I get my speed and ball security(with a good ball handle) up, and become a good on-ball defender, I will be able to get my game where I want it to be.
I might continue with my PG career.

1st Quarter: They put me into the game with 5 minutes to go and both teams have 10 points. Of course, Bogut's the head center in this teams so they placed me at power forward which immediately means... mismatch :] Quickly got a high post fade away over my man to get us the lead. You know it sucks when you can get that shot off but you're 7'2 and can't get a lay in one foot away from the net. We're a defensive team though so it shouldn't hurt us too bad. Had to look at the back of my man's jersey to know who he was, Dominic McGuire, 6'9", 220 lbs more of a Small Forward than anything. These guys really underestimate me, first a 6'7 center in DeJuan Blair now this? Time to dominate. Spoke too soon, Pryzbilla is in and there's no height advantage over him, but last time I checked, I was bigger and younger. Unfortunately, fouling got the best of me, 2 fouls in three minutes gets me back on the bench with two points and two rebounds. I blame myself for the second foul, reaching in for no reason, the other foul on the other hand had me sending Tyrus Thomas's dunk back so I don't feel any remorse for that.

2nd Quarter: Back in side at the 11:11 minute mark and it is still a tight game, 20-21 for the Bobcats. Another opening high post shot for me to raise my terrible shooting percentage. I'm getting steals and rebounds but I'm missing high percentage shots, really gotta get working on that. It's already a better game than against the Spurs though, 5 points, 5 rebounds with 7 minutes of game time, Coach better adjust his line-up soon. I'm like a truck out there though, ran over Corey at one point, thank god they didn't call that off-ball foul. There's a big conflict of interests in this team, Jackson & Jennings both want to run this team and attempt to do some one man plays which is what's preventing us from taking control of this game. Nonetheless, I was subbed out at the 4:26 minute mark, 34-29, Bucks with the five point lead.

Halftime Report: 40-38 at the half-time for the Milwaukee Bucks. 11 mintues of game time for me means 28% shooting (2/7), 5 points & five rebounds oh and don't forget that steal earlier. They're shooting 50% and we are 43% so defense is definitely what's keeping us in there. Corey Maggette is trying to get revenge on Bucks for trading him it seems, 11 points so far.

3rd Quarter: 55-49 for the Bucks, subbed back in at 4:27. My brother from another mother, Bismack Biyombo is on me. Busted a quick move on him early on, the post up, spin move and lay in for an extra two points. Sorry Bismack but that Rookie of the Year award is coming to Milwaukee. Looks like Bismack was scared, Diaw got on me next play and I drew the foul for two easy free throws. One more point and I get my first double digit game. On the other hand, Biyombo went back on the bench, sorry son but you gotta earn your minutes. End of the third and I got 9 points, we're leading by 7, 61 to 54. Lets go Bucks! First win of the season, here we come.

4th Quarter: They benched me for the 4th quarter but we still won 92 to 78. Played 15 minutes of game time with 9 points, 6 rebounds, and a 30% shooting. Skiles gave me a A- teammate grade which puts a big smile on my face, would've liked to have gotten an A+ but that'll come with time. If Jackson and Jennings played with the team like me, we could definitely be a playoff team. Stephen Jackson finished with 24 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists along 2 steals and 1 block, Jennings got 20 points, 6 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals, who's the player of the game? Make your pick. Although I'm rather sure all those assists were them passing it to each other... Rookie of the Year contestant, Kemba Walker had 14 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists, Biyombo on the other hand had 1 rebound, 1 steal and 1 block on 11 minutes.

Post-Game Interview:

Interviewer: You guys were firing on all cylinders out there tonight. That's got to be a win that makes you feel good about the team as a whole. Agree or disagree?

Joshua York: Agree. Dominant win for us. Dominant game for me. And it just shows how capable this team is of being a real contender. We just gotta maintain this level of play night in and night out. I know I can. Now my teammates gotta do the same. And if they do, look out NBA.

Is it me or you guys are also experience in my player that every game you play, your plays are changing. One game I have like Boston plays and second game I have Toronto plays.

after spending time with my created center. I decided I've had enough playing center and watching my loaded bulls team just get destroyed every game. I ent back to my sg at golden state. We ended up playing the bulls boom down 14 we key the comeback, we take the lead late, bogans hits a clutch 3 then in overtime we just take control of the game. boom 30-8 right now, leading the west.

I just want to say that this years My Player is harder, no matter what difficulty its played on. Some people play it differently, and some people are just good enough to get 20 plus a game...

That in mind, lets talk about the reasons my player was made.

-SO YOU CAN RUN THE NBA!!!! You are the up and coming superstar. Last year, and the year before, You could be dominant out of the gate. In 2k10, all I did was run under the hoop, get the rebound, and lay it up, until I got my standing dunk up, and then I was booming it left and right... Running in for the crazy dunks. Needless to say, after the first year, I was ROY, an NBA champion, Finals MVP, etc... There was no point continuing on. Just make a new guy... It was SO easy to upgrade and be the best in your first year...

-SO YOU CAN LEARN THE GAME!!!! Believe it or not, after playin NBA 2k10 MP mode (Debut year)... I came back into the regular game play against friends and what not, and found my self beating people I dont normally beat. Being in MP mode gave the know how on iso, post, positioning, movement etc. MP is a great way to learn how to play the game individually, as well as team wise...

Now, this years MP is awesome. And I will tell you why. I AM STRUGGLING! Yes, I said it, I came out of the gate, in the showcase, and got molly whopped all over the court. Like, 6 points 2 rebounds type ish, however I had a good teammate grade.

I get into the league, my squad sucks, due to bad chem, which you can check in the "My Buzz" section in your my player to see how well you are fairing around the league... ANYWHO, this is my conclusion on MP, and why I love it.

You have to work for your individual SP... Wether it be, buying the packages/sp/boosts... or earning them playing game after game. I like this, because it tells me that I will actually have to work hard my first year, just to make a difference. I like this, because I wont put my controller down after a season. I will probably play all 17 seasons just to make it to the Hall of Fame...

The upgrading of abilities comes next. Last year, all you needed was a mid range and dunking, and you were golden... This year, you can have a mid range and a dunk, but if you dont have the ability to pull them off, whats the point. Abilities are awesome, once I played like 10 games, and saved up, I got the dribble pull up. Couple that with my 70 mid range, and 70 shoot in traffic, and I am a monster in the mid. So when I pump, and they jump, I drive right through the hoop and bang away.

Now, the only thing that pisses me off, is the bumping, as I cut through, in, out, and around the paint. I can understand a nudge... But if Im 6'10'' 245, running full speed, I should NOT be stop cold in motion by raymond felton, who then stands there with all wait leaned upon me, as if he's trying to hold the door shut so I wouldn't come into his room. My solution for this is to "A" let go of turbo, or "B" run around the outsides/behind the basket. Becareful doing that, because you will get caught by the ref, broom boy, slip on some ice, and have a fan throw a beer at you, all while trying to get back on the court... haha...

The key to this years MP, is to remain patient. It took me a few games, but now that I have my dribble pull up, and hesitation abilities to average, I can create space, and shoot off the dribble. If you wanna dunk, you gotta shoot...

And speaking of Dunking... everybody wants to know why their guy doesn't dunk... its all about the dunk attribute, and ability. And if you're standing under the rim with a 7ft back to the basket center, and wondering why he wont jump and dunk... its because is dunk is low, and so is his standing dunk. Stupid, I know, but thats the only reason why you can't just dunk out right with a giant bohemian...

But all in all... Patience is key... you will get frustrated... just answer press with teammate positive answers... (X botton on 360, and Square on PS3), and your team chem will be up, and your guys will be playing like superstars... got drafted to the warriors... we are like 4 and 11 or some dumb ish... But we are getting better and better... When I am elite enough, I will murder... too bad I wont win on my first year, however, we might make the play offs, the way things have been looking up...
