Just had two injuries in a row. A back injury that kept me out for about 3 weeks, and my first game back against Dallas I sprained my ankle. Stayed in the game this time though, and erupted in the fourth. Down 7 with 5 mins left in the game, got in, got two steals on J-Kidd, and started raining from three. I hit 4 in a row, Crawford added two, and Z-bo added 6 paint points and we ended up blowing them out by 14.

I like the ability to just play key games but as a PG the game thinks pretty much every other PG in the league is a star so im still in my first season even after playing 30 games. 7 more and itll be the playoffs.Comment

It would be nice to see that almighty minutes thing get mitigated when you're having a ball game AND it's a close game. Sometimes you can be lighting it up but because you're only slotted X amount of minutes, you'll get benched late in a close game...
And then your team loses.
Michael Redd is washed up anyway. It's Leroy Oakley's time, Skiles!Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
I'm a 6'3, 190 lb., pass-first point guard out of USC. I'm making defense and passing my priorities, and my shooting ability is probably the last thing I'll worry about.
I got drafted by the Charlotte Bobcats at the #9 spot in the draft, after trying to blow my interview with them by sounding arrogant and cocky as I didn't want to go to the Bobcats. Apparently it didn't work though, lol. I'm fine with being on a small-market team and even coming off the bench for now, but I want some good teammates, as that is the only way to truly succeed as a pass-first point guard. Suffice to say, I'll be requesting a trade as soon as my first 5 games with the team are complete.
I'm thinking I want to go to Dallas, Phoenix, Orlando, Miami, L.A. (either team), or New York, as those are the only teams that have the right situation for a pass-first point guard that don't already have their point guard of the future. Hopefully I'll land on one of those teams. Fingers crossed!
The game mode is still pretty lame as far as the teammate grading and the AI logic at times though. It's just kind of, meh. I get much more enjoyment out of my Miami Heat and fantasy draft associations. Outside of the game, My Player is much improved, but as for improvements in the game-play? Better, but still not quite good enough IMHO. Hopefully they will significantly improve in future versions of 2K, but as of this year? Above-average, but I really think 2K can do better. That just shows how great of a company 2K is though, when good just isn't good enough.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
Definitely want to know this.
Since it is harder to get high Teammate Grades and unless you go off in scoring, it is harder to rack up on points. I really need to boost up key ratings. Because I dont fit in my offense and I have to find a way to score.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
Missed out on the playoffs with my Sixers team. Ended up 9th in the East, just missing out which was a real bummer. Ended up winning rookie of the year (not hard to beat just Rubio lol). Cracked the starting rotation with about 5 games left in the season which was cool. Happy I didn't get there straight away.
Finished my rookie season with 13ppg, 3apg, 2rpg. Pretty happy with those numbers. Now I just wanna try and trade myself to the Lakers lol.Comment

made a 7'1" athletic center, drafted by 76ers. all Ive upped so far is vert to 80 and a bit of shot in traffic.
I just played against orlando it is like physically impossible to box out D12....
I also made a 6'5" scoring pg... drafted by the warriors... trying to decide which one to focus on.Comment
