Does anyone know if there is a limit on how high you can go in the draft? In 3 tries the highest I've gone is 8th even though I've had the best stats every game.

Started mine last night. 6-3 all around PG. Got interviwed by Houston, Phoenix and Indiana. I wanted to go to Houston cause I would of been the center piece of the team, but Phoenix got me at the 14th pick.

I was playing the 2, cause Nash and Brooks held down the 1. A few games later we traded Nash and Brooks for Al Horford. I'm happy because I get more minutes but it's unrealistic. I don't want to move on and see my team blown up unrealistically.

I'm having struggles in my first few NBA games, I like dropping dimes more then scoring. I love driving hard then kicking out, but I **** in my pants and loose the ball when ever I'm near the rim. I might pull a Melo and see if I could get traded to NY.

I am finally starting to get my scoring up with my SF. Last 3 games 31(1st time over 20+), 24, and 14. I was more agressive and took more shots. I got my Med-Range to 95 and Shoot in Traffic to 85. Im currently boosting low Post Shot, I recently dropped it back to 25, now I am boosting it again. It can add another aspect in my offense. After I boost my Post Game, I will boost my defense.
After I get my ratings to a comfortable point, I will start playing just key games until FA. I hate playing with Devin Harris. I doubt I will get into the ROY race with Irving and other rookies beasting. I avg 10.5 points. I am close to that point. Glad that Some Ratings are cheap. Next four ratings I will boost is Shoot Low Post, On-Ball Defense, Ball Security, and Vertical. I will start simming games now though. We have 3 players who want the ball at the end of the playclock with Hamiliton, Harris, and George. So I dont really fit in. When I am a FA I want to go to a bad team with a Pass-First PG. I want to be the primary scorer for a bad team. After I max shoot Low Post and get 3pt past 85(using mainly Drills), I will able to score 30+ a night. I actually want to go to Cavs. It is hard to know which team to go to, since the trade glitch is ruining good teams.
I will continue with my PG, once I get my SF to a comfortable level.

I went 6th to the Wizards.....and boy do I regret it....

Teammate Grade is both good and so-so at times. It lets you slide on CPU forced TOs when they pass you the ball out of bounds and Letting CPU score on you. But, it doesnt give you as much skill points for things like last year. It lowers skill points when you miss it whether shot was forced or not. I would like to see users get skill points for not letting your CPU man get the ball in possessions.
Last year regardless of points, I was able to get A and Higher in almost all games. This year at most I had B. That is a difference from 800+ points to 300+.

I agree. I'm 24 games into the season and only now did I finally get an A+. Previously I only had a single A/A- before this game.

22 points, 2 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals, a block, 50 fg%, 1 turnover, and I shutdown SJax (he was like 2-11 when I guarded him, made him pick up the dribble/knocked the ball out at least 8 times).

And even then, I had to "cheat" my way from an A to an A+ at the end of the game by constantly calling for double teams because I was right below the A+ line. Only got a bit over 1700 points for the game.

Still haven't gotten the starting spot either. Although I'm getting 27 mpg now.

Skill points are really scarce.

I'm in love with the Knockout drill. It would be killer if you could play that with more human players. And it's almost always a gold if you can make mid range shots and last till about third place.

Just blew the Spurs out by 40 points. Shined all game, even had a crazy 12 assists (first double digit assist game). Only problem was OJ Mayo shooting horrible shots all game. He made a lot of them so I guess it's fine (and had about 5 of my assists because of it) but would still like a better shot selection from my starting "Point Guard" before I take his job and sit him on the damn bench where he belongs. Right now, The Suns currently sit at 4th in the standings. Hopefully we can make some noise in the playoffs.

Question: Has anybody played the rookie challenge or does it not exist at all? I happened to get "hurt" right before it, up until right after it. And when I went to look at the box score for it, it didnt' exist, nor did it have rosters on the allstar screen (where it shows who was picked to play in the allstar game)

im about 6 games out from the rookie/soph challenge...

issue i see occuring is that there are no rookies!...only sophmores, right now my competition is ricky rubio n some other clown for the ROTY honors...im hoping i pull enough votes for the NBA All-Stars, def would be nice!

Kash can't you spend cash (god I hate puns but I couldn't resist) to increase cap by 5?

Is there a limit in that or no?

Spending cash boosts caps by a maximum of 5 pts, you gain a point with every boost and the prices grow with each until you've boosted the cap by 5 and then it's maxxed.

I'm a PG for the Suns and Vince Carter has gotten hurt twice in only 2 weeks of play. The front office did make a deal that brought Lamar Odom to Phoenix though. Happy about that because we were getting killed in every game.

Position: 6'8 All-Around SF (trying to make a Carmelo Anthony type Player)

Drafted to Suns with #13 pick

I had like 27 pts, 7 rbs, and like 4 assists in Rookie Showcase.

I havent played my first NBA game yet. Hopefully ill take that starting position from old Grant Hill
